Only I'm Need

Chapter 6 - [My [Scan] Broke]

=-= Week Later =-=

Let me tell you, waking up to some random a.s.s crying in the middle of the forest is both annoying and creepy at the same f.u.c.k.i.n.g time.

*Sigh*

Let's just get this over with and find whatever is disturbing my MUCH f.u.c.k.i.n.g needed sleep.

The first thing I do was use [Basic Scan] [Grimm Scan] [Soul Scan] in that order.

The first thing I noticed about the source of the crying was that 1. It had a human-like shape 2. It had no Aura and 3. [Grimm Scan] registered it as a Grimm.

And considering that this assumed person had no Aura, it was reasonable that a scanner like [Grimm Scan] would register a no Aura 'person' as a Grimm as that was what I had it configured to.

Unfortunately, [Soul Scan] registered it as both a human and [Grimm Scan] registered it as a Grimm.

Probably one of Salem's project gone wrong or gone totally right depending on what the project it is. I mean you could never really tell with people like Salem or Kaguya Otsuksuki.

Sure they are hot as F.U.C.K and I won't lie and say I haven't beat my meat to them a couple of times.

But one really wonders what is going on inside their brain.

Anyways, moving back to this Grimm/Human crying person.

Since the person was literally f.u.c.k.i.n.g in the tree right next to me, it wasn't hard to get to said person. (P.S. The tree is hollow)

And since I was the paranoid f.u.c.k I was, I popped a smoke grenade and went invisible and then investigated.

Let me tell you, I was NOT expecting a cute looking a.s.s kid with red skin, green eyes, pink whiteish hair, and two white horns.

My first thought was that SHE was pretty damn cute. My second thought was which dumb f.u.c.k Faunus decided it was a smart idea to f.u.c.k a Grimm. But then I remembered that Grimms are confirmed to have no d.i.c.ks or v.a.g.i.n.as so that rules that thought out. My most reasonable guess was Grimm project.

Another thought was why did this little girl hold such value to that, picture book?

Then again I can understand her on several levels. 1, Cause I'm REALLY possessive of a shit ton of things. Knife-chan being my second on my large list. 2. She seems to be some sort of survivor as she has rags with cuts that seemed to function as her clothing. 3. She's probably escaping from someplace and that picture book was probably what she held the dearest.

Anyways, I noticed several wounds on her and was about to continue that train of thought when I realized that my invisibility popped.

And being one of those people not to care, I simply talked to her like a civilized person and not freeze up and then have to go through a lot of explanations like an anime character.

"Hello, how are you doing Miss," I said.

My response from the red-skinned girl was simply some shuffling backward and what I assumed to be an attempt to growl at me.

Although I tried not to laugh REALLY hard, it resulted in me throwing my head back and laughing my a.s.s off.

After that pack of Grimm, it would take several Grimms to throw me off. And to be honest I had yet to fully adapt and grow custom to Grimms and killing, but I was getting there. All it would need would be several more packs of Grimm and I would be relatively unfazed, if of course, Salem doesn't have spider Grimms.

And if she does. Well, you would be expecting me on my hands and knees begging my a.s.s out for Salem to get rid of the spider Grimms and at least replace them with something else.

Damn, I keep getting off track.

Anyways, looking at the horned girl I noticed several things. 1. She was crying, 2. She looked genuinely afraid and fearful and 3. She looked like she might have a PTSD attack any time soon, so I did the best I could to appeal to this girl.

And hopefully, make her mood better as Grimm are bound to be attracted to this shit.

I gently picked up the squirming girl in my hands and placed her on my l.a.p, while giving her the softest hug I could.

Don't mind me- "FBI OPEN UP!"

Anyways ignoring that, many people will think, wow such luck. You're already hugging a cute girl that you met not 5 minutes ago.

Well f.u.c.k them, this is the first time I've voluntarily given someone a hug that was not Mother.

And it's really f.u.c.k.i.n.g awkward for me, as Mother is the only person I gave a hug to voluntarily.

In both lives.

So red-skinned, white-horned, green-eyed, pinkish white-haired, cute looking girl, you better cherish this moment REALLLLL good, cause I ain't doing this shit ever again.

Once I noticed the squirming stop, I looked down and was greeted with the site of such a cute girl asleep.

Lucky me I guess.

Once I made sure this girl was asleep, I picked her up gently and then placed her in MY hollow tree home to contemplate what to do next.

First thing on the list was trying to treat her wounds. At first, I was thinking to use Light to heal her, but considering Light does extra damage to Grimm and she is technically considered a Grimm, I wouldn't want to experiment.

And taking her to the river was denied as she could bleed out on the way and even unconscious she is giving off negative emotions so I ain't risking a Grimm to suddenly attack me and catch me off guard.

And using my shirt as a cloth to wrap her wounds, then hell no.

This is my only shirt.

Damn heartless piece of shit Quail some of you guys might say. Well, I say that she currently holds very little value to me and I ain't doing all this shit for some nobody I saw. She even potential holds more negatives than positives.

If it weren't because she was a kid and I wasn't THAT heartless, she would've been at least several miles away from my current location.

I mean sure I did slaughter a bunch of innocents in my past life, but they weren't really kids. Although if kids do bother me to the extent of pushing my buttons and crossing a few of my lines then absolutely they would die...

*cough*

Moving on, I did the next thing I could think of and used my shirt to wipe what I could get off her. At least I wouldn't have to tear up my shirt to warp her wounds.

I mean I could always wash my shirt so I wasn't that worried about blood or dirt.

The next thing I did was build up a few swarms grenades from Gunslinger class around the tree and I set it to attack anything with hostile intent that wasn't the girl.

With my tree secured with deadly exploding drones surroundings it, I won't have to worry about Grimms.

And ever since I hunted my first animal, I always improved on my skinning skills and managed it to get up to a level, where I can now make floor rugs and blankets.

And thus the inside of my tree looked like several ox-skin floor rugs were placed on top of each other and to the side was a bunch of sheep-fur blankets. I used the sheep-fur blankets for both a blanket and a pillow. There were also several skin fur surrounding the walls to cover up the bark.

Moving on and now that I was prepped, I started to lick red skin girl's wounds.

First of all, get your head out of the gutter and second l.i.c.k.i.n.g your wounds actually help with removing bacteria and accelerating the healing process.

Of course, this only works on minor wounds and thankfully the girl's wounds were only minor.

Unfortunately some of the wounds I needed to take off her clothing for that and that I did.

I am no pervert who l.u.s.t after little kids so I could care less about her being n.a.k.e.d.

But again I recognized that this is some sort of pride thing women have with being n.a.k.e.d so I tried my best to avert my eyes.

And when I was done l.i.c.k.i.n.g her wounds, I placed her on several clean sheep blankets and covered her up.

Next, I made an Aura imprint on her and the tree and left to the river to clean up mine and the girl's clothing.

After cleaning my body as well as the clothing I made my way back to the hollow tree with a dear in one hand and clean dry clothes in the other.

And I was able to sitch up the rags a bit so they fit the girl better and looked overall nicer.

Once I got back to the tree, I put the girl's clothes on and then started to make myself lunch as it has only been 3 hours since I met the girl.

And I did wake up at around 12 am so that's that.

After cooking the food I ate my share and did a slow burn on her food, so it could be prepared for later.

And of course, the smell woke up her.

Cause now I'm having a conversation with a girl that doesn't even seem to speak a language. Only head shakes yes and nos and a few hand motions.

Although I couldn't understand her, she understood me perfectly fine.

And after doing a really short explanation she semi-explained her situation.

And semi as in hand motions and me asking questions while she shaking her head up and down.

So what I could gather from that was that she was escaping from her captor which, after I asked a lot of questions about the appearance, was indeed Salem herself.

Apparently, the girl who I learned had no name, was a project of Salem trying to create humanoid Grimm.

And said girl only escaped because she had found a hole in the side of the castle and escaped for a few days and magically escaped on top of a Nevermore and then she dropped off said Nevermore into bullhead silently and after escaping said bullhead she found herself in a forest and cried her heart out in pain from starving and dehydration.

So I stopped her from talking and gave her some food and water as soon as I heard she was starving and needed water.

For how I transported the water, I painstakingly built a pipe system that routed the water through a carved smoothed wooden pipe underground.

The pipes were around 12 inches into the ground to help prevent freezing should a cold breeze come through and help protect from elements.

And why I didn't use the pipe to shower and clean the clothes was because I wasn't finished building the nozzle for the shower and the current nozzle was only big enough for drinking water or cooking and would've been more efficient to just head to the river.

After she had eaten everything I went down and explained my whole situation to her and my 'trial'.

She apparently was very understanding of my situation because she had witnessed Grimm do the same thing to their 'child'.

Don't ask how Grimm get children. Even emerald eyes don't know.

[AN: Emerald eyes is basically the girl. Just tired of calling her the girl all the time.]

After teaching her a few things, such as how to hold an eating utensil properly or teaching her how to speak, I decided to give her a name.

"You need a name." Quail said. Emerald eyes looked into the ground before silently shaking her head yes in a meek manner. "Hmmm. How about Zero Two. Your the second person to ever receive a hug from me, you're my second favorite person because I don't really know anyone else, you have two horns, and there are two of us, hence the two. The zero part because one didn't sound too nice. But what I meant was that us two had no one, aside from my Mother and she doesn't count in this conversation, and with both of us coming together we became two.

So I, Quail Branwen, Sole Guardian of Humanity, Sole user of the Light on Remnant, hereby declare you to be named Zero Two. For we were Zero before meeting each other, and now we are Two." I said with my right hand over my heart while I was on my knees to represent how serious I was.

But that didn't help me cracking a slight smile at seeing Zero Two's shocked face.

What I was not expecting was a waterfall to come pouring down on me in the form of Zero Two hugging me.

"QU~!" Was what Zero Two said before it was my turn to be shocked.

After all, she just technically said her first word and it was my name.
