The Journal of the Adventurer Roald: The Salt of the EarthThe

Journal of the Famous Adventurer Roald. Between the pages were a few shiny bitter salt crumbs.

- Salt in the Ground -

My shoes were soaked after trekking all the way from the river beach of Ogi Flower Island, and the last time I took them off, I even poured a frog out of them.

Judging by the scale of the ruins, this place should have been a temple and sanctuary thousands of years ago. It is said to have been originally built by the Demon God of Salt during the Demon God War. In Liyue's lore, she is a demon god who is too weak. In the merciless melee of the demon gods, human beings are too small beings. However, the Demon God of Salt did not participate in the competition of the iron heart, but gathered those helpless exiles in the war, led them to build towns here, and brought love and comfort to people in the last days when the world was turned upside down, trying to seek the possibility of restoring peace with the demon gods.

It seems that the rest of the city has long been hidden beneath the riverbed of the Bishui River, and only the base of this temple has survived.

She gathered a group of followers and settled in what is now known as the "salt of the earth". The city stood for hundreds of years, and it didn't fall apart until the day the demon god fell.

The gentle demon god died not in a duel with the gods, but in the betrayal of the mortals she loved so much.

He was the first mortal king here, and the last king. Although he had loved the Demon God of Salt like his people, with the heart of a mortal, he could not guess the love of the gods who gave up his self. In order to seek the power to protect and fight, and to prove the anachronism of gentleness, he slew the lonely demon god with the sword in his hand. In this way, the temple of salt collapsed with the fall of the Salt Demon God, and the mortal city ushered in a bitter end like a block of salt.

As for what happened to the traitor, there are different opinions, and no one knows. Perhaps, he ruled alone for hundreds or thousands of years in the ruins of the city, until the dust of war settled, the ruins were flooded by the river, and the king's staff crawled out of the moth, and he was reduced to ashes at any time. Or perhaps, after committing the great sin of killing gods, he condemned himself for unbearable sins. In short, the story of those who were once favored by the Salt Demon God scattered across the land of Liyue and moved into the safe harbor under the rule of the Rock God with legends.

It is said that the remains of the Salt Demon God are still in the depths of this ruin, and although they have long since turned into salt crystals, they still maintain the posture of the moment when they were pierced by the long sword.

Clouds are starting to gather on the horizon, and it looks like heavy rain is coming. I need to get off as soon as possible. Next, I'll head to the northwest to the Mt. Qingce, hoping to get there before the rain gets too heavy. I hope you don't rush too much and lose this journal....

The journal left by

the famous adventurer Roald in the temporary camp looks still new, exuding the fragrance of the herbs of the light ceyam.

——Qingce Village——

Leaving the Longji Mountains, going down to the river beach, stepping through the sandbar covered with Dihua, and crossing the bamboo forest that covers the sky and the sun, I finally entered Qingce Mountain. The shoes were soaked through and the clothes were half wet. Although I was drenched in soup by the pouring rain, fortunately, the elders of the mountain village were very kind and let me dry my clothes and shoes in the assembly hall, and prepared a new change of clothes and dry food for me.

There are many children, who are cute and difficult to deal with, and there are many elderly people, and everyone lives a carefree and prosperous life. According to the elders, most of the young people have gone to Liyue Harbor to work, and many of them have already started a family in the city, and they will send money back every month. The younger generations have seen the prosperity and convenience of the city, and may never come back to live. Liyue Harbor has made the Mt. Tsce rich and comfortable, but it has also made the Mt. Tsce grow old irreversibly.

According to legend, the word "light strategy" comes from the ancient monster "mantis". Of course, today's lingua franca is called "螭", and "light strategy" is the pronunciation of the ancestors of Liyue during the barbarian era.

The elder said that thousands of years ago, Morax subdued the beast that had harmed Liyue, but after the death of the beast, its body curled up into a stone, its blood turned into blue water, its scales became terraces, and what was once a nest of demonic beasts became what it is now known as Mount Qingce.

However, after a brief investigation, I believe that most of this mountainous area is composed of huge rocks that have been shattered by the impact of external forces, and there are no traces of the life of the water elemental demonic beasts. Maybe the corpse of the mantis has long since decayed, and the story of the demonic beast turning into a mountain is just an old legend?

Legend has it that there is a labyrinth in Liyue, and it is said that the immortals live in seclusion, so I hope I'll be lucky enough to find it.

The journal of the adventurer

Roald The journal of the famous adventurer Roald landed at the water's edge, describing his experience in the Okuzo Mountains and his plans for future adventures.

- Absolute Clouds: Okuzo Heavenly Pool-

The last log has fallen out of nowhere. Before, I reminded myself three times: you have to keep the log book, you have to keep the log book, you have to keep the log book... But in the middle of the adventure, I forgot all about it. A lot of paper is wasted every year, and I hope the god of grass doesn't mind too much.

Climb up the Aozang Mountain along the winding mountain road and the plank road laid by the ancient medicine pickers, and then climb the steep and damp rock wall, and then reach this heavenly pool. Some fishermen have said that the water is thousands of miles deep, but after verifying it myself, I think this statement is obviously an exaggeration.

The old man of Qingce Villa does not deceive me, and the lake water of Tianchi is warm and sweet, worthy of the name of fairyland. When I first entered the Absolute Clouds, an old farmer once told me that immortals with vast magical powers could turn into clouds and merge into the sea of clouds anytime and anywhere. At the time, I didn't believe in this kind of folk legend, but now that I see the fog on the surface of the lake and the sea of clouds that seems to be within reach of my head, I can't help but wonder if the immortal I have been looking for is roaming overhead at this moment, and I don't know anything

about it.

When my vision widened again, I found myself in front of the clear water again. It has a good view and is a good place to rest. Set up camp here today.

While packing in the camp, he meets a young girl who appears to be out on a treasure hunt, claiming to be Eduardo. According to her, the next step is to go west, to the fairy lake at the foot of the Ozo Mountain.

"Legend has it that at the northern foot of Mt. Okuzo, on the shore of a lake to the west of here, there lived an immortal. Since this is the case, there is naturally a secret treasure of immortals. Hahaha, when I find the treasure, then—

" She suddenly became serious, and said, "

Then contact the Guild and report to the Guild! After all, I am an official member of the Adventurers' Guild, and I have absolutely nothing to do with the Treasure Hoarders!"

Indeed, some people take risks just for the sake of material wealth. As the people of Liyue say, "Everyone has their own ambitions, so why not think about it." But overall, I feel like a decent fellow adventurer.

While it sounded good to head west and explore what she called the "fairy lake," she decided to go with the plan. If nothing goes wrong, I'll head to Kirihara and discover the scenery and treasures there. Of course, if nothing goes wrong, this journal won't be lost. Don't let it go wrong.

Adventurer Roald's Diary Luhua PondThe

journal that the famous adventurer Roald accidentally dropped in the makeshift camp seems to have been soaked in water, leaving a fox with wet paw prints on the paper.

Walking southwest along the tributaries of the Bishui River, I found a pond at the northern foot of Tianheng Mountain, the water is clearer and brighter than the sky, the water temperature is similar to the human body, and the taste has a hint of sweet aftertaste.

According to local herb pickers, the pond was originally a garden thousands of years ago. Legend has it that in the era of the Demon God Melee, a pair of lovers who were not recognized by the family had a secret meeting here. However, the turmoil is merciless, and the man follows the rock god and throws himself into the wrestling of the gods as a mortal... Just like the countless mortals of that era, they have not been heard from for a hundred years.

The woman wandered in the garden, waiting for her lover to return. Later, the flowers were replaced by wild grasses, which rotted in the tide, and when the tide finally receded and she returned to the soil, tears merged into the pond. Perhaps it is because of such a deep lovesickness that the water here is so clear and warm.

I stayed here all afternoon and accidentally fell asleep while taking a shower. By the time you wake up, the shining constellations of the night are clearly visible.

A little fox was probing its head nearby, and as soon as I looked up, it fled in a hurry.

It took me a while to find that one shoe had been lost and the bag of dry food had been turned around.

It took longer than expected to pack my luggage, and my next destination was Yaoguang Beach in the northeast at the mouth of the Bishui River.

The journal of the adventurer Roald

The journal left by the famous adventurer Roald in Yaoguang Beach has the smell of the sea breeze on the paper.

- Yaoguang Beach -

This is where the Bishui River flows into the sea, and the sediment carried by the river is deposited here into a large flat beach. When I finally arrived, sea fog covered the beach. My newly bought shoes are soaking wet again, and the sound of some kind of monster is coming from the fog nearby... But I couldn't tell the distance of the sound.

In this case, I had to listen to the noise in the fog, set up my tent and wait for the sea fog to dissipate.

When I stopped at Wangshu Inn, a businessman once told me the allusion to the name of "Yaoguang Beach" - "Ten thousand acres of Yaoguang floating waves, and the blue conch sky on the shore of the white sand sea".

The Bishui River shimmered with jade-like light and flowed into the sea, but the "Biluo House" on Yaoguang Beach was empty.

When I braved the fog to visit the hut, I didn't meet its owner.

Fishermen have said that the "Biluo House" is the abode of the immortals, and the Biluo is actually a part of the immortal body. She once provided a place for travelers who got lost in the fog to rest, cared for and healed shipwrecked survivors, and practiced here for the immortals who crusaded against the magical beasts of the sea.

However, the older fisherman also has another theory: it is not the immortals who live there, but a family that has lived in the giant conch for generations. They made it their mission to help the lost, and many fishermen who had been in danger had benefited from them.

The sea fog seemed to be about to dissipate, and the sunlight could be faintly seen.

Next, I will borrow a boat and go to the Lonely Cloud Pavilion to find the remains of the Rock Demon God's suppression of the Sea Demons.

If it's a good ride, you'll get there quickly.

The journal of the adventurer Roald The journal

left by the famous adventurer Roald by chance in the Lonely Cloud Pavilion is wet on the paper and seems to have been soaked in the tide.

- Lone Cloud Pavilion -

Avoiding the sight of the hilichurls on several small islands, he arrived at Lone Cloud Pavilion

smoothly. Where I landed, the huge hexagonal pillars just blocked the harsh sunlight, and the shadows of the pillars were particularly shady. I don't know if it's because of the nourishment of the monster remains for thousands of years, the crabs on the beach are so fat, and they taste very good when grilled.

Judging from today's bright scenery, it's hard to imagine that this was once the battlefield of a bloody battle between the god of rock and the sea devil. The blood of the old days has long since melted into the blue sea and disappeared without a trace. Perhaps a drop of blood shed by a man is no different from the torrent of the blood of countless heroes in front of the vast ocean, and the eternal flow of winds and currents is destined to wash away the dust until everything is as it was.

It is said that the god of the rock once sharpened the rock spear and threw a giant spear into this sea, piercing the demon god who was causing trouble in the deep sea. And the giant spear gradually weathered with the passage of time and became the scene it is today.

Later in the evening, I returned to the mainland and set up camp. From here, you can see the ships departing from the port. In the distance, the "Southern Cross" fleet was sailing away, and what mission was the legendary Beidou Lord performing?

He slept restlessly at night, and his dreams were always dark and damp. It was as if I had dreamed that I was a monster impaled by the rock god at the bottom of the sea, struggling and scratching at the sturdy rock spear, and every movement was carried with great pain and hatred...

It didn't seem like a good place to spend the night, so I lit a bonfire and waited until dawn before setting off. I'll go back to Liyue Harbor to fix my faces, and then I'll leave for the Clouds. The last trip to Xian ended in nothing, and this time I want to climb to Qinggenting to try my luck.

Note: Don't lose your journal again!Adventurer

Roald's Diary, Absolute Cloud Room, Qingyunding's famous adventurer Roald's

journal, the paper has the fragrance of small flowers between the rock crevices of the mountain wall.

- Absolute Cloud Room: Qing Yunding -

Before starting to write this adventure journal, write a short paragraph to be vigilant. Recently, when I was summarizing my travelogue, I found that I often accidentally lost my journal. Roald, Roald, I almost

forgot how long it took me to climb to such a height. The cliff side is connected to a vast white sea of clouds, and it is completely impossible to see where in the depths of this sea of clouds I looked up at the "immortal dwelling" on the top of the mountain.

On this mountain cliff, there are hardly any living creatures to be seen except for the strange pines and cypresses, only the stone kite in the sky will occasionally scream and swoop down towards the sea of clouds, and will never be seen again. Overhead is the fabled abode of the immortals, but I still need to fix it before I can move on. The top priority was to repair the previously broken mountaineering equipment and treat a few minor injuries by the way. When I first entered the clouds, an old farmer gave me some ointment, which was spicy to the touch, but very easy to use.

It was not comfortable to spend the night on such a high mountaintop, and the cold wind on the sea of clouds was bitter and relentless, and it kept pouring in through the cracks of the tent, which made it difficult to sleep at all, and even if the campfire was lit, it would be quickly extinguished. I wonder if the immortals who live in the immortal dwelling on the top of the mountain will complain about the cold wind, or whether they will feel lonely?

I have no sleep all night, and finally wait for the moment when the moon sinks into the sea of clouds. Check the package, wait until dawn and continue to climb to the top and head to the immortal residence high in the sky. Hopefully it won't rain at such a height.

The journal of the adventurer Roald The journal of the famous adventurer Roald of Qingxupu

, the pages of the book have left traces of green moss.

- Qingxupu -

In order to prevent it from being lost again, this time I made a mark with moss on the cover of the journal book, which is very conspicuous in the backpack. It's good, put it next to the pillow when you fall asleep tonight, and it shouldn't be lost again. If I lose my journal again, I won't be able to remember the name "Adventurer", and "Daredevil" is pretty much the same.

Heading west through the pass of Tianheng Mountain, there is a relic known to the locals as "Qingxupu". The ruins sit on a towering rocky hill in the middle of the shallow pool, surrounded on all sides by steep mountain walls. Several stone buildings are integrated with the natural scenery achieved by the god of rocks. The faint morning mist was about to lift, and the rocks and ruins were just illuminated by the morning sun. Looks like it's going to be a good day today.

Legend has it that these ruins existed before the Rock God took control of Liyue. The area on the outskirts of Lisha was flooded during the era of the Demon God Melee. At that time, Rock Mountain was just a small island outcropping out of the water. When the war subsided, the glass sand dispersed with the meteors in the sea, and the ancient pavilions left by the ancestors were revealed.

Earlier at the Wangshu Inn, I met a Sumeru scholar named Soraya. She has a lot of research on the ruins of Lisha suburbs, and she can't stop talking about it. According to her, these ruins were left behind by the now-unknown Demon God and his people. However, the sea will finally meet Sangtian, and the invincible demon god will also be defeated, and the tall ancient capital fortress and temple left by the ancestors will also be abandoned, becoming today's Qingxupu. It wasn't until the long war finally came to an end that the ruins were revealed.

Perhaps these ruins are some kind of old time for the immortal immortals and gods to reminisce... In short, the tranquil atmosphere of the ruins has survived to this day without being affected by the rapid expansion of the thriving port city and the mining activities of the Chasm. Recently, however, the mining activities of the Chasm have been halted, and the ruins have been occupied by monsters. Let's hope they don't do any damage.

This is a simple hypothesis, but for more corroboration, I need to continue north to see the ruins of Lingju Pass and Dunyuling.

As I was about to go, I ran into Eduardo again, and she seemed to have a companion with her. She was probably busy as an adventurer, and disappeared into the middle of the ruins in a blink of an eye.

The journal of the adventurer Roald The journal left by the famous adventurer Roald in the Dragonspine Snow Mountain

, some of the pages have been broken and wrinkled, and some shiny ice crystals are attached to it.

- Dragon's Back Snow Mountain -

Ascending from the riverside plains of Liyue, this area on the southern side of Dragon's Back Mountain is a good place to set up camp with gentle slopes, calm wind and snow, and unfrozen water. When the supplies are ready, I will use this as a base and continue to set off for the summit.

After setting up the camp, we surveyed the surrounding ruins by the way. The ruins here are interesting, and the architectural style and pattern details are strikingly consistent with the nameless ancient buildings of other regions. From this point of view, it is likely that the legendary ancient snow-capped mountain country is at my feet.

It's a pity that no coherent inscriptions have been found in the ruins, and it is difficult to confirm the history of the ancient kingdom. Perhaps there is more information hidden in the depths of the more chilling snowstorms higher up.

Spending the night here is very uncomfortable, and the cold and biting wind always screams down the stream, making the tents rattle and make nightmares. There must have been a lot of space in the cave at the water source, and I heard a ghostly wind echoing through it. But unfortunately, the entrance to the cave was sealed by a fence, and there was no way to open it from the outside.

Later in the evening, I continued my journey up the hill. There are a number of more recent relics along the way, which seem to date back to the aristocratic era of Mondstadt. I unearthed fragments of clothing and tattered weapons, and the thick layers of snow and ice slowed the decay and kept the remains buried in them for years.

Judging by the distribution of the relics, it seems that there was a chase or even murder on the mountain trail on this side.

Even the violent wind and snow and the sinister mutation did not stop people's ambitions. This land of ice and snow, abandoned by God, was also tainted with the sins of future generations after all.

As you climb up the trail, the wind and snow get stronger and the temperature plummets to unbearable levels. I searched a ruins in the northeast, and it was unbelievable that there was an unfrozen body of water in the place where the blizzard had swept all year round! Judging by the location, it may be connected to the water source of the stream below.

But the area was too cold to venture deeper into the ruins at the risk of freezing to death or drowning. I left a rough mark, hoping that the wind and snow would not bury it easily.

It may have been an underground refuge in an ancient country, flooded by seeping groundwater over time. But I've also heard that thousands of years ago, in ancient times, tyrants would throw prisoners into prisons, lock them in cages, and then slowly pour large amounts of water into them. Just to watch the prisoner watch the slowly rising water level gradually submerge him, from his ankles to his mouth and nose, to his forehead...

The punishment was long and cruel, and it was even more difficult to imagine anyone surviving in such a bitter cold climate.

The easterly trail was a bit rough, and here I had some stupid accidents and almost broke my leg. Fortunately, he only suffered a few skin injuries, and his bones were fine. But the cold-proof suit was torn by the ice and a big hole, and the cold wind kept pouring into it, like a knife stabbing it, which was very bad.

I found a sheltered corner in time before the wound was numb, and barely sewed up the torn coat... But it is impossible to continue to the summit.

A little later, I finally made it back to camp just before I froze to death. Warming my hands and feet in front of the campfire, and when I took off my socks, I found that three of my toes had been frozen purple... Either way, it feels good to come back from the dead.

When the wind and snow stopped for a while, I looked up and saw the broken boulders surrounding the lonely peaks of the snow-capped mountains, silently levitating in the clear sky.

For many of the inhabitants of the snow-capped mountains, the mountain of mutation is like a blind spot beyond the eyes of

the gods, ruled by an incomprehensible fate. In Mondstadt's old fairy tales, the snow-capped mountain is a place of punishment abandoned by the winds of time, so everything is frozen in a moment of destruction by the howling cold wind.

But something was still throbbing at the top of the mountain, and I felt its call in my dreams—like a subtle song, pleasant but ominous.

The expedition didn't go well, but he was able to save his life. It's just that this day is goodbye, and I don't know if I will have the opportunity to climb to the top again in the future...

I'll probably continue to explore Liyue in the future, but it's imperative to replenish the lost supplies and replace the flooded journal by the way.
