Teyvat's Guide to Mondstadt Chapter

, Teyvat Geography Magazine, Special Issue - Alice's Travels in

Mondstadt, Dadaupa Valley

The valley is home to three thriving hilichurl tribes, and if a huge spherical rotating cage were built in the depression in the center of the valley and all the surrounding hilichurls were captured and imprisoned, the momentum generated could probably power all of Mondstadt's mills for at least five years. And if you send the old and exhausted hilichurls into the mill to be processed into fodder and fed to the strong hilichurls, you may be able to produce more lasting energy, and maybe you can easily drive a huge factory like the Solstice! This seems completely feasible to me. But when I brought the idea up to Miss Lisa in the library, she watched me ponder for a long time before graciously digressing the subject.

Speaking of Star Cliff

, the wind god is really an unruly god. If I were a god, how could I stand such careless and random terrain all over the earth! If enough powerful bombs were planted in the right places, even a behemoth like Star Picking Cliff would collapse with a bang, and the terrain of Mondstadt would be much more orderly than it is now. Unfortunately, the slick-looking cavalry captain rejected my proposal and advised me not to hang out on the Cliff of the Pickers.

Wind Rises

is the only slightly flat field in all of Mondstadt, with an exceptionally large oak tree growing near the center. It is said that this is the place where Vanessa ascended to the sky, and I searched around the tree for a long time, but I didn't find any traces of the launch facility. I grabbed a few hilichurls from around to try out my guesses, but the furthest I could get was to fly to the hunter's hut in Clearspring Town, and I was disappointed.

Eagle Soar Beach

caused a great panic in Qingquan Town due to the unsuccessful experiment, I was arranged by Miss Jean of the Knights to supervise me, and I could only hang out on Eagle Soar Beach, this place is boring to death, whether it is the silly eagle in the sky, or the bulging wind slime are dull... The most unbearable thing is that I can't do anything! The little sister of the Scout Knight who was watching me had a lot of fun with the children.

Another forest in Mondstadt, the Whispering Forest, where the Scout Knight named Amber seems to be very familiar. Amber's explosive toy is a lot of fun, and if I improve it, it can not only turn the forest to ashes with a single blow, but even shake the rocks around it. My suggestion seemed to freak her out, but exploding a stuffed animal was a great idea I hadn't thought of before. Be sure to try it next time.

Mingguan Gorge

finally shook off the stalker of the Knights, and I found this canyon on the northwest shore of Fruit Wine Lake. The old checkpoint still guarded the place, but the soldiers who guarded the pass for the Gale King were long gone. The winds of time blew inadvertently, leaving only the unintelligent hilichurls and silent mechanical guards here. Experiments to manipulate the ruin guards using hilichurls also failed, and the ruin guards were torn apart, and the hilichurls tied to them were even more miserable... Most of the ruins that were originally intact have also been damaged.

The ruins of the Wind Dragon

, Mingguan Gorge, lead to the ruins of this sprawling ancient city, the capital built by the reverent King of Gale Dieklapian. The ancient city as a whole is in the shape of a ring. Between the inner ring and the outer ring, it seems that all the people have been pre-arranged in their respective places. In the center sits the tower, which is too tall, and there is the palace of the King of Gale. The ruthless monarch who tried to design the life of the people has no one to look for in his grand ruins. In order to make it easier for future generations to climb the tower, I blew up several corridors. It looks pretty good, and it tastes like a monument.

Each issue of Teyvat's Travel Guide, a

travel magazine organized by the Liyue Adventurers' Association, features some of the best things to see in Teyvat. This book contains a brief account of Alice the Traveler's travels in Liyue.

Teyvat Sightseeing Guide Liyue Arc

The

Bishui River, which flows north of Dihua Island, forms a wetland here, and continues south through a tall stone gate, with grass as far as the eye can see. At the southernmost end is an inn built on a boulder. The "Wangshu Inn" is the highest point of Ogihuazhou, and further south from here, you can see the Lonely Cloud Pavilion on the distant sea. There was a strange young man on the top floor of the inn, whom I had almost never seen talking. The lunch at the inn was very hearty, and the kitchen was well equipped, just right for alchemical experiments. Speaking of alchemical experiments. I have a few new ideas for blasting catalysts, and if nothing else, I'll stay here for a few more days before returning to the original place.

I

arrived in Guiliyuan ahead of schedule, a few days earlier than expected. Ancient books once said that Guiliyuan was a prosperous bazaar before the Demon God War. The little foxes and wild finches here are very good-looking, and their coats are shiny. I've heard that the Liyue people's offerings to the rock gods have been stolen and eaten by these bad guys, so if you hunt them and roast them, they will have a fruity aroma, right? The checkpoints on the avenue are strict, but the guards are very friendly. I cured one of the guards of a suffrage with some local herbs, but with a small side effect—he began to repeat uncontrollably what others were saying, and even learned the intonation vividly.

I heard that somewhere on the top of a mountain in the clouds, there is a dwelling place for immortals hidden between the clouds, mountains and fog. Many of Liyue's herb pickers have seen the scene of the Immortal Mansion. In my experience, eating too many strange mushrooms will probably see a similar sight. The topography here is very interesting, many of the huge stone pillars look more like the landforms that only appear deep underground, and there is a lot of water stored in the ground, maybe if all the groundwater is discharged into the sea, the clouds will sink back into the ground, right? Mr. Zhongli, who was traveling with me, was always very serious, but he was amused by my thoughts. What a strange person.

Yaoguangtan

heard that there is often sea fog in Yaoguangtan, and it is difficult to see five fingers when the fog is the thickest. But I didn't catch the foggy moment, which is a bit of a pity. There are so many beautiful seashells scattered on the beach, how many of them are relics from the Daedric Wars?I wore a necklace with them, but they were all shattered by the fisherman at the inn, and there wasn't a single one left... As a result, he was stabbed by a fragment of a shell and compensated for his medical expenses. At the entrance of the Bishui River stands a large conch. The old woman who lived there was very kind. It is said that her family once floated here in a giant conch shell, and now she has been rescuing shipwrecked people who have drifted to the shore. If the conch is transformed into a ship powered by its own power, it should be easier to save more shipwrecked. But after the third prototype conch boat exploded out of control, the old woman decided not to fish me again.

Lonely Cloud Pavilion

is the place where the rock god once suppressed the demon god of the sea. Boulder spears that have long been broken and deep into the bottom of the sea stand high above the sea. The hexagonal prismatic structure formed by the fusion of rock elements is very interesting, and when viewed from the air, it gives the illusion that the pillars were carefully arranged in advance to form a unique pattern on the sea. But maybe it was this kind of spear that the rock god threw with this evil taste? Mr. Zhongli of Liyue Harbor seems to be familiar with the legends here, but I've never seen him here. From here, you can see the Wangshu Inn from afar, and the strange young man I met before should have been looking at this side from afar. The leylines here flow very interestingly, more actively, and more rhythmically than anywhere else in Liyue... It seems that there is some indomitable force hidden at the bottom of the sea that is pulsating weakly. Maybe it's because the suppressed demon god is still wriggling in the deep sea.

Each issue of Teyvat's Travel Guide and Inazuma Adventurers'

Association introduces the best places to visit in each part of Teyvat. This is a brief account of the traveler Alice in Inazuma.

"Teyvat Travel Guide: Inazuma Arc"

The

mountain in the north of Narujin Island is filled with magnificent cherry trees that share the same root system as the largest sacred cherry tree at the top of the mountain.

The cherry tree is enshrined in the largest shrine in Inazuma, the Narujin Shrine.

In recent years, the little girl who has run the shrine is the Yae little girl.,Now she's grown into a big girl.,It's a little frustrating to think that you can't make her cry as easily as before.。

I thought she would get drunk and cry as quickly as she did before, but I didn't expect to be the one who got drunk first this time... made a big fool of herself, and was ridiculed by her. Tut... It makes me look like some old woman who humiliates herself, and I'm unwilling.

...... Really, I was going to bully that little guy a little more.

Inazuma Castle

brings a new pyrotechnic recipe to Naganohara's older brother. But after listening to my introduction to the efficacy of the drug, he repeatedly refused to accept the new drug for deafness, and finally did not accept it.

Brother Naganohara's understanding of explosive formulas was too conservative, and he always diluted them to the point where the force of the explosion could not cause significant physical changes to the environment, relying only on the combustion of different metals to create a monotonous visual effect.

And he's only willing to shrink into the workshop and do experiments, so what's the point! It's

a waste, it's a waste.

However, his daughter Yoimiya was very interesting, we collected a lot of sweets at the festival, tried a lot of new recipes, and had a lot of fun!

... As a result, he was quickly escorted to the deserted beach by the fire extinguishing team, and I heard that it was because of the new law and order rules of Inazuma Castle or something, but I really don't know what to say.

A number of new ideas were discussed. Yoimiya came up with some constructive ideas for me, and this kid is very talented. It would be the icing on the cake if I had her fireworks show in Klee's playground!

Unfortunately, the stinky-faced general was staring too closely, and I didn't have time to improve her toys or take her away.

Not long ago, she was preparing a flying potion at the Imperial Dining Center, but she accidentally injured the young Tengu General, and the feather on her left wing may take half a month to grow. I wanted to help her bandage it, but since then, the child has been avoiding me...

I left some medicine for her, just in time to test the efficacy of the medicine.

After that accident, it seems that the guy who had been in the castle tower all day long sent additional soldiers to follow me, which was too much.

I apologized to my face, but she still pestered.

What's more, she also agreed to the matter of lending me an experiment at the Imperial Dining House first!

In addition, Miss Kamisato declined the proposal to join the idol group for the sixth time, and she was disappointed.

Tatarasa

is a natural island in a circular shape, with mountains overlooking the sea from a high place, surrounded by a large central forging blast furnace. This is the production base of Inazuma's "Jade Steel", which supplies Inazuma's nostrils to the sky with the best weapons materials - hard steel made from the blood and bone crystals of the defeated demon gods and high-quality iron ore.

This is the most boastful asset of the Heavenly Lord, so he also takes good care of the workers and technicians.

During my travels in Tatarasa, I was accompanied by a lady named Kagami Gozen. She seems to have been the leader of the local workers and held the position of acting shogunate. Although she is a subordinate of the Heavenly Leader Minister, she seems to be on an equal footing with the old guy in front of the workers. The workers seemed to trust and love her, and were willing to obey her even more than they respected the general... But the mirror always seems to be frowning, looking unkind.

The workers who have stepped on Tatarasa are rootless inhabitants who have been alluvialized by the currents of history. They are distinguished by the tattoos on their bodies and the singing of their labor, but they also strengthen the connection between them.

Like the other workers in Tatarasa, Kagami Gozen has scars on his body that have been burned by the heat and the "worship of the gods". In the eyes of the outside world, it is a sign of short life and illness, but here it is a symbol of the same family.

I changed the parameters of the "Mikage Heart" without authorization, dismantled some valves and panels and threw them into the sea, and by the way, I improved the protective cover, which was almost better than nothing, maybe it would bring some surprises to those Fontaine engineers?

Maybe that old man Kujo will be furious because of the sudden drop in production capacity... But at least the operation of "Worship God" will not get out of control due to overheating, and even in the face of the destruction of war that may break out in the near future, it will not have too much explosion.

At least by my own standards.

Hmph, but maybe the war would not have happened at all after my skillful intervention?

I would love to see what the astrologers' faces would have looked upon when their predictions came true!

According to those boring onmyoji, Raiden Shogun once placed a lot of "town things" on this island to prevent the residue of the snake god from leaking and polluting... Well, that's pretty much it, I still can't learn that set of religious rhetoric.

I observed that the lampposts were very interesting, and although they borrowed the appearance of Thor's beliefs, the techniques used in them were familiar.

Wow, I'm almost forgetting that I'm writing a travelogue, so I won't mention these boring academic questions!

I was warmly welcomed by the village chief Washizu in Scarton Village, and the grilled fish and rice balls were delicious.

In addition, the beach known as "Nashii Beach" is also inhabited by many friendly pirates... It's a shame I wasn't able to stay on this island for a long time.

The island's mines are very lively, but the tools of the miners are very rudimentary and backward. Although the island was littered with the general's belongings to block most of the spread of the "gods", most of the miners suffered from chronic diseases due to prolonged exposure to the effects of snake bone crystals.

The cherry blossoms that the onmyoji brought from the Narukami Taisha Shrine were delicious, but they were far worse than what Yae made herself.

Maybe I'll visit Asase Shrine next, but I wonder how the big fat cat there is doing... The last time I tried to trap it with a special cat cage, I was stopped by the shrine maiden, which was really disappointing.

The Legend of the Shrine Maiden Shuyun

For the people of the sea, the legend of the Demon God War is bound to be bitter. Among the many island songs sung for thousands of years, there is a shrine maiden named "Shuyun", who once rode a huge sea beast to follow the Great Snake to fight, leaving behind a tragic reputation

The shrine maiden Shuyun was born in the right name clan, which was one of the first clans to follow the great god to see the sun again, and is still known for its talent for whale songs and the tradition of affinity for sea creatures. From an early age, she entered the Coral Palace and learned about the ritual traditions, history, government affairs, and island songs of the Watatsumi shrine maidens with the present gods and shrine maidens, while her twin sister, Calamus, who would later be known as "Umi Gozen", was the clan's ama who collected pearls.

Later, when the news of the unification of the islands by the Inazuma shogunate reached Wata, the clouds and iris were already well-known among the people of Watatsumi. In the island songs that have survived to this day, Shuyun has a wise and kind temperament and is good at mediating unreasonable disputes between the seamen, while his sister Calamus is brave and cheerful, and can fight the beasts of the sea.

When the Watatsumi Okami finally stopped hesitating and decided to launch a hopeless crusade, the original navy of the Sangogu Palace was personally appointed to the sisters by the current god Witch, and the fate of the giant whale "Grand Inspector" also began.

Legend has it that the "Grand Inspector" was a blind whale with a lifespan of 500 to 400 years. The deep, dark seabed is its dwelling, with moonlit jellyfish and deep-sea fish as its servants, 500 horned whales on the left and 500 humpback whales on the right. Another island song says that it can swallow ten coral islands in one bite, and when it is full and asleep, it will spit out five reefs with a snort...

Even the people of the Coral Palace, who are proficient in whale songs, have never lived to meet such a giant beast and be able to escape with their whole body. But Yuyun took over the arrangement of the present god and witch, and at the moment when the bright moon had just broken through the sea fog and rose into the night sky, he sneaked into the phosphorescent whale palace. No one knows what kind of clever arguments Dawn Cloud used to convince the "Grand Inspector", but only that on the three occasions when the moon rose high, when the tide receded from the beach, the people of Watatsumi witnessed the huge body of the "Great Inspector" carrying the Dawn Cloud Shrine Maiden to the serene sea, glowing with a little silver shimmer.

Later, the "Grand Inspector" and its sea beast minions fought with the Yuyun sisters for the Great Imperial God until the end of helplessness...

After learning that the Great Gojin and the "Higashiyama King" had died together, the Shrine Maiden of Shukumo was ambushed by the old troops of Tengu Sasayuri on the way to retreat, and finally died in battle with the giant whale "Daishogaku", and the body was captured by the shogunate army. His sister, "Umigozen" Calamus, disappeared into the crimson sea after the battle, and she didn't know where to go.

The ancient historian Zichang translated the stone inscriptions that recorded the ancient history of Liyue and compiled a history book that contains many brief and fragmented historical events.

At the beginning, the king of the rock descended, retreated the tide of the sea, established the balance of the sky, and suppressed the tide flow. The people then lived in peace, opened the mountain to mine jade, drilled the rock to access, and gathered the stone to be the stone. There is a saying: the mountain contains jade, so the name is called "mountain hui". At that time, most of the people of Tianheng were engaged in mining, and there were no poor people who traveled thousands of miles.

Note: The mountain glow is now falsely known as the "mountain glow rock", which has been declining for a long time and has turned into a mountain rock, and it has no longer been the original style.

...

There is a dust king and demon god whose name has returned, and the king of the rock is friendly, and he sets up a strong crossbow to defend Tianheng, called the "final machine"; In its heyday, there was no traffic, and the farmland in the town was as far as Shimen. In the end, he tasted the king of rocks: "Now I have left the people, and they all live and work in peace and contentment, and they have returned to their hometowns together. The King of Rocks is good. It got its name from the original cause.

Note: After the demon gods plotted their positions, a great chaos broke out. Although the immortals fought hard to protect it, the war was chaotic, and they were deeply affected by the melee, and the dust gods were also in it. Therefore, the emperor of the rock king moved his people to the south of Tianheng, returned to the original desert, and did not return to the prosperity of the past.

...

The Rock King pacified the demon gods, the Yaksha took their place, and Liyue returned to peace. Previously, the demon god was in a scuffle, and the mulberry field was destroyed. The people of Liyue have become merchants and craftsmen. Its leaders are united as one, and the name is "Seven Stars". Therefore, Liyue Harbor has taken shape. There are eight doors under the jurisdiction of the Seven Stars, and all internal and external industries are all-encompassing. There is also an army of dry rocks that listens to the orders of the seven stars, soothes the people inside, and suppresses the demons outside. It is the so-called rule of the Rock King.

The story of the town spirit and the shepherd boy in the night wind is absurd and uninhibited.

"The next story comes from the era of the 'plague king' Xirui. But at that time, the vassal king had not yet become notorious due to the 'Plague of Xirui', and his subjects had not yet been scattered into the dark world, becoming savages who had lost their language and face..."

The moonlit coins on his wrists and ankles rattled, as if he was dissatisfied with the beast's jolting

, "Anyway, little raven, do you know the meaning of the name 'Hirui'?"

"Hmm...

Ridiculous, despicable?"

replied the young man who called himself a "raven" casually. Suffering from the threat of sun and quicksand, he had no idea what his companions had to say

, "In our tribe, 'Shirui' is a disgraceful name, a name that only the banished leader will have on his forehead,

and only when he curses and mocks. It's our tradition... But presumably in other tribes, it's not too much.

"Haha! Mortal knowledge is like quicksand, the wind moves with time. It's weird!"

Raven's perfunctory reply, but the elf's

mockery drew interest, "Actually... In the language of the lost, 'shirui' means 'unweaned lion cub'. His father, Pavezlawan, gave the name to his beloved son of the full moon, but he did not know that he, the vassal king who called himself the spirit of victory, would be torn open like a hyena by his beloved lion cub..."

They exchanged glances with the boy, and then continued,

"As for this 'Pavizlawan'. Legend has it that in the era when mortals ruled as vassal kings, Pavezlavan was one of the most powerful kings..."Pavezlavan

was not the real name of this vassal king. The elves say that he was an orphan with no father or mother, and that he was raised in the nest of the giant bird Gohenus, and was named "Kisla", or "the one who was given a good name". Later, due to his ambition to be a hero, he was adopted as a righteous son by the vassal king Olmazisha, and became a sage and hero among mortals.

The song of the extinct desert people says that Kisra conquered the land for the vassal king Olmazishah, forced ninety-nine cities to destroy the walls of the stucco and bronze, defeated the leaders of the ninety-nine nomadic tribes, and brought ninety-nine wise sages who knew the principles of the stars to the golden yoke and brought them back to the towering royal city of Güll.

whistled, signaling the boy to stop the pack beast and prepare to camp for the night under the broken stone pillars.
