Pokemon The Force

Waking up the next morning, Soul was greeted with harsh sunlight rubbing on his face. He was forced to close his eyes as he tried to adjust to the light on the room.

Torchic, Mew, and Anubis also woke as all of them got ready for a new day. Soul stretched out his body and closed the curtain, letting light out and replace it with light from a light bulb on the ceiling.

He went to take a bath and also washed Torchic and Mew, who was playing with soap bubbles.

Finishing his business, Soul left Pokemon Center with a Pokemon on his shoulder, while the other one on top of his head.

They walked through Route 2 where they were challenged by a trainer with a Zigzagoon. Both of them got ready as the trainer with Zigzagoon went for the first move.

Trainer: Zigzagoon use Tackle on Torchic.

Zigzagoon rushed at Torchic with normal speed as Torchic got ready for it. When it was close enough to Torchic, Soul gave out a command.

Soul: Torchic dodge the attack and use Scratch afterward.

Torchic immediately jumped away from the attack, as Zigzagoon couldn't stop its movement before it felt pain from the right side, as it got attack by Scratch from Torchic.

Soul: Kick it up and use Ember.

Torchic then spun 360° and kicked Zigzagoon up with one of his strong talons as Zigzagoon face was sent upwards. He then inhales a ton of air before turning them into flame and exhaled it to Zigzagoon.

The trainer didn't know what to do before Zigzagoon was hit by Ember and fainted. Seeing this, he sighed and returned Zigzagoon to its Poke Ball and walked towards Soul.

Trainer: That was a good battle, you and Torchic totally overpowered me and Zigzagoon there.

Soul: Yes, it was my first battle here in Hoenn. Thanks for the battle.

Hearing this, the trainer's body froze for a moment before his mood became even worse. He just got defeated by a trainer who just started his journey!

Soul got automatic money transfer to his account as he left the scene. His next destination is Petalburg City, after that, Rustboro City where he would get his first gym badge. On the way, he should capture more Pokemon so that he could train them faster.

While they were walking through Route 2, they suddenly heard a sound nearby. Soul decided to check what caused it and followed the sound.

Arriving there, all of them could see a giant tree, bigger than the others. But what catches Soul's attention was several holes on the ground around the giant tree.

He was about to check them out before something fell on the ground, creating the same sound they heard as dust came out of a hole.

Curiously, Soul and his Pokemon went to look inside the hole and saw Bagon who was as surprised to see them as they are. It then decided to use ember to protect itself from those strangers.

Soul dodged the attack as he took a step backward, while Torchic ran over and climbed on Soul's head. Mew thought it wanna play so it used the same move as Bagon on it.

Soul: Wait, Mew-

An explosion occurred as Bagon could be seen in a fainted state. Soul sighed at this. He took out a Poke Ball and throws it at the fainted Bagon.

The ball didn't roll around and made a *beep* sound, meaning that Bagon has been captured. Soul then told Mew not to do something like that again, it was already stronger than most Pokemon here in Hoenn, so he didn't want any accident with it.

Mew just laughed it off and went to sit on a tree branch on top of the giant tree. Soul released his new capture Pokemon as Bagon was barely conscious. Soul was impressed that it already has gained consciousness back from Mew's attack.

He then proceeds to heal Bagon, who didn't resist and didn't attack them this time. After a while, Bagon was back to full health as it looked at Soul and Torchic with a curious look.

Soul: Sorry about before. Mew could be too playful and accidently hurt someone without knowing. I hope that we can along, Bagon.

Bagon thought for a while before nodding. Seeing how powerful that Pokemon was, this trainer must be very strong. If it follows him, it could evolve to Salamence!

Soul: I know that you want to fly one day. I can let you experience how it is to not touch the ground, but it won't be permanent.

Soul then removed the gravity around them as all three of them begins to float. Torchic and Bagon weren't expecting this and panicked a little. Torchic tried to struggle with his legs as he tried to fly back to Soul.

On the other hand, Bagon eyes sparkle as a whole new world has been opened to it. After a while, Soul returned gravity to normal as Bagon and Torchic fell on the ground along with Soul who landed on his feet.

He then checked on Bagon stats.

Nodding at this, Soul returned Bagon to his Poke Ball before he called out to Mew that they are leaving. Mew flew down and landed on Soul's shoulder as it transforms into an Eevee.

Torchic sat on the same spot as Soul didn't mind about it as they left Route 2 and reached Petalburg City where he rented a room for tonight at a local hotel.

Soul went to buy supplies for his journey as he explored the city around until it was dusk. Soul beings to cook Pokemon Food for his Pokemon as they all were playing with each other as Bagon was most curious about Soul's Pokemon that could fly.
