Pokemon The Force

Wattson and his Pokemon were surprised to see Magnemite got one-shotted by Bagon. Still, Wattson didn't think too much of it and returned the fainted Magnemite back to its Poke Ball.

Wattson: Your Bagon is really strong, but let's see how you handle my next Pokemon.

Looking at Voltorb, both of them nodded as it jumped to the battlefield. Seeing his next opponent, Bagon got himself ready as he focused on Voltorb, who did the same.

The battle started with Wattson told his Voltorb to use Thunderbolt on Bagon, who dodged it easily, but Wattson's Voltorb kept going. Each attack, Bagon dodged it as Wattson was thinking of a plan to defeat Bagon.

Wattson: 'Do I really have to use that?'

While thinking about this, Soul decided to end this move quickly as he told Bagon.

Soul: Use Double Edge.

Bagon body glowed golden as he rushed towards Voltorb at a high pace, Wattson who saw this didn't have time to think as he bluntly said.

Wattson: Voltorb use Self Destruction!

Soul: 'Shit!' Bagon quickly use Protect!

Voltorb body begins to glow brightly as Bagon, who was close to Voltorb changed his move and used Protect.

An explosion occurred as all of them were forced to brace themselves from impact as smokes, and dust surrounds the area around them after a loud bang.

When the smokes and dust were gone, they could see that Voltorb fainted while Bagon was hit, but not the way Wattson expected. Bagon only got some small injuries around his body from the attack!

Watt: Voltorb is unable to battle, this match goes to Bagon! *Cough* *Cough*

Hearing this, Wattson sighed as he felt a bit down from the result. Have the younger generation of Pokemon Trainer already surpassed him?

Returning Voltorb back to its Poke Ball, Wattson sent out his last Pokemon which was a Magneton. This time, it was Soul who started off with the first move.

Soul: Bagon let's finish this by using Dragon Pulse.

Wattson: Magneton counter it with Zap Cannon.

Bagon sent out a powerful wave of dragon-energy as a dragon head could be seen forming on it. Magneton sent out a powerful electric-energy ball and release it towards Dragon Pulse.

Both of the moves collide, but as Wattson expected, Bagon's Dragon Pulse destroyed his Magneton Zap Cannon easily as Magneton got hit and fainted.

Watt: Magneton is unable to battle! The winner of this match is Bagon!

With that, the battle was over as Wattson returned Magneton back to its Poke Ball and walked over to Soul.

Wattson: That was a good battle, though… I couldn't even defeat your Bagon with all three of mine.

He gave Soul the Dynamo Badge as Soul opened his badge collector and put it in. Now he has three badges, only five more before he can participate in the Ever Grande Conference.

Soul: Thanks, it was indeed a got battle, you actually managed to surprise me with the last move Voltorb used. But you shouldn't feel that down. Actually, I had thought of a project that I would like to build here, but I need your help with that.

After Soul finished on what he was saying, Wattson's mood became somewhat better as he was curious about what kind of project this young man was thinking to do, and why he needs his help with it.

Wattson: Well, then let's discuss about it in the waiting room. Follow me.

Following behind, Soul walked through a door as an office break room could be seen. All of them sat on a chair as Wattson asked Watt to get something to drink to them.

Watt nodded and left as Soul told Wattson about how he would like to build a whole city in one building. Much like in the game, but he didn't tell him about that. Wattson was, of course, surprised by this as he became more interested in the idea Soul has.

Soul then proceeds to take out a blueprint that he made for fun a long time ago, when he was around eight-years-old. That time, while Soul was looking at his diary, he came across a doodle that he made while he was younger.

That doodle was the original Mauville City from Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. He also wrote some notes about it, and how he would love to see that place for himself one day.

Soul was interested in the design of Mauville City, so he decided to make a blueprint out of it. Who knew it would come in handy one day?

Watt came back with three cups of tea as Wattson was looking at the blueprint in front of him with bright eyes.

Wattson: T-This is amazing! But why would you want to ask me to help to build this fantastic project?

Soul: Well, it was you who have built this city from scratch, and you have made so many inventions that made your city stood out of the others. So I thought that you could help me with this project since your skills in architecture, engineering, and others are top-notch in my opinion.

Wattson: Hmm… ok, I'm in. But one last question, who are you really?

Taking out his mask, both Wattson and Watt became surprised by who they saw. Watt was so shocked that he almost dropped the teacup he held in his hand.

Soul: I'm just someone who would like to make a deal with you.

Wattson: Hahaha! To think that the person who challenged me was actually you! The previous champion of Kanto, Soul Winterflame.

Soul: Yes, I hope that we can keep this meeting a secret.

Wattson: Of course, I and Watt promise to not tell a single Soul about our meeting. Isn't that right, Watt?

Watt: W-What? U-Um yes, we promise!

Soul: Great, then let's discuss about the plan.

For the rest of the day, Soul and Wattson talked about the project and how it should be done. It was night time when everything was done as Soul slept at a local hotel that night since Pokecenter was closed.
