Pokemon The Force

Walking close to Route 1, Soul looked back to where he had spent his childhood's at. Looking back, he couldn't help but smile before continuing to walk.

He had been looking at the map, he got from his dad. The other's map with various of x marks also shows the same display as the others map.

Soul: 'Vidrian Forest, huh? Guess I have found my first destination before fighting my first gym.'

Two hours passed by as Soul have walked around route 1. He had encountered some wild Pokemons and had either Charmander or Eevee to fight against them.

If they had encountered some more powerful Pokemon, he would choose either Noibat or Anubis to handle them.

They also hold a break once in a while, where he would make some quick foods to restore their energy.

They were pretty happy about the food they got and would start training after a few minutes when they finished eating.

It was pretty good, as Soul has instructed on how both of them should train. Charmander would be focusing on physical attack and dodging, where Eevee would be focusing more on speed than attacking.

Right now he was walking on the main road to Vidrain City until a voice was heard.

???: Hey you!

Looking at the source of sound, he saw a rather young boy with a yellow t-shirt with blue outlines. He wore a blue cap, matching his blue pants and shoes. He looked familiar somehow…

Soul: Yes, is there anything I can help you with?

???: Don't you know? When two trainer's eyes lock on each other, they fight!

Soul: How do you even know if I'm a trainer?

???: Uhh…

Soul: Just kidding let's battle.

Soul would of course not refuse to battle someone that would give him free cash, as when a trainer loses to another one, they would give some money to the winner via. their trainer id.

He had just recognized this young lad as Youngster Joey. The kid who always lose to you when you're battling against him.

Joey: Ok, let's go Rattata!

Soul: Go Charmander.

Soul sent out Charmander as it gave out a roar, Joey who saw this was surprised by its color but ignored it as he said.

Joey: My Rattata is in the top percentage of all Rattata!!

Hearing this, both Charmander and Soul looked at him with a dumbfounded expression. Even Anubis stopped on what he was doing and looked them weirdly.

Soul: 'This kid sure is weird…'

Joey: Let's start this battle! Rattata use Tackle!

Hearing it trainer command, Rattata rushed at Charmander without hesitation. Charmander wanted to get this over with and waited for Soul command.

Soul: Use Ember.

Charmander who heard this filled its mouth with fire and when Rattata was close enough, it spits it out on its opponent face.

*Boom!*

Rattata fainted as Charmander went back to Soul Pokeball. Youngster Joey who saw this was shocked and looks defeated.

He transferred the money to Soul's trainer id with his mom trainer id. After they finished transferring the money, Soul didn't say anything else and walked away.

After a few more hours of walking, they finally arrived at Viridian City. Before he could go inside the city, he was stopped by Officer Jenny.

Officer Jenny: Halt! What business do you have here?

Soul looked at her for a second as if she was an idiot. It would soon be night time and would she really denied entry to the city, even he's a kid?

Would he be forced to stay outside of the forest, or getting arrest, or something? Would they even arrest a 10 years old kid?

Soul: I just began my journey today as a trainer. Here's my id.

Checking if the id was false, Officer Jenny nodded and apologize to him. There have been so many problems with criminal activity in this city, so she was wary of him, even if he was a kid.

He nodded calmly and asked her where the Pokemon Center is. Officer Jenny then point out the location to where it was as he thanked her and left.

He walked to the Pokemon Center, as the sun begins to settle down. Slowly the light around the city beings to lit up.

He looked around the city with a curious gaze as he had never gone to other places before, except for Emblem City.

When he arrived at the Pokemon Center, he spotted Nurse Joy in the middle, she looks a bit tired. There weren't as many peoples here as he thought there would be.

Walking over to her, she noticed him and smiled.

Nurse Joy: Hello there, welcome to the Pokemon Center. What can I help you with?

Soul: Hello, I would like to have a check on my Pokemon conditions, and is there any place I can stay at?

Nurse Joy: Yes there is, you can stay here for 100 Pokedollars per. nights. As for check-ups, please put your Pokeballs here.

He nodded and gave two Pokeballs to her. Anubis was already fine as he didn't have any fight yet, the same goes for Noibat.

Soul: Then I would like to rent a room for a night.

Nurse Joy: Right away the. Please hand over your trainer id card.

Soul did what she said and handed his trainer id over to her. It kinda works the same way as a credit card.

Nurse Joy: Thank you very much, it would likely take an hour for the examination to be over, please wait patiently until then.

He nodded again and got the key to his room, but he didn't decide to go there yet. He was after all, very hungry right now.

He managed to feed his Pokemons before they arrived at Vidrian City, so he won't have to feed them again for today.

Soul went outside of the Pokecenter and went to a local restaurant where he bought a noodle to eat with.

After he was done eating his dinner, he went to look around the city and bought a few berries and all kinds of resources he would need for his journey.

He had a lot of money left. Even more ever since he won the Emblem City League. Right now he has around 50.000 Pokedollars in his pocket.

Arriving back at Pokecenter, he walked in and was greeted by Nurse Joy with his Pokeballs.

Nurse Joy: Welcome back. Your Pokemons have been checked and have been fully restored, please come again next time.

Soul: Thanks, if there's a chance, I will.

He grabbed his Pokeballs and put it on his belt. He then walked over to his room that he rented and took a bath before he went to sleep.
