Pokemon The Force

After Professor Oak showed Soul, where he would sleep, he showed him around his laboratory before the garden.

Oak: This is where I do most of my research.

Soul: Professor Oak, what exactly is it that you are researching?

Prof. Oak: Drop the formalities now, and just call me Oak or gramps would be fine as well. Just like what Gary would usually call me. That reminds me… both of them are now heading to a special Pokemon school for a while, so you won't be seeing them this time.

Soul: Both of them?

Oak: Oh yes Gary and Daisy Oak, my grandchildren.

Soul nodded as Professor Oak explained to him on, what he was researching on, and surprisingly to him, Soul could actually, mostly, if not perfectly follow on what he was talking about. He also got asked by him about a lot of reasonable questions and theories related to it.

Soul: So you are researching about a phenomenon which is called mega evolution?

Oak: Yes, a group of researchers and miners found an old ruin with some old painted pictures and encrypt messages about it.

Soul: 'So I guess they already on track with mega evolution this early huh?'

Oak: Now why don't we go to the garden and see how's the Pokemons living there have it, shall we?

Soul nodded happily and followed behind Professor Oak as they opened a door leading to the garden.

There Soul could see many types of Pokemons and some of them begin to come towards them when they saw Professor Oak.

Of course, Soul knew what was going to happen and step aside at least three meters away from the professor, as he got jumped on by various Pokemons.

Oak: Haha! Ok, ok stop it now Eevee, Pidgey and Poliwag. We have a guest here who will be living with us for a while, starting today. Soul comes closer and introduces yourselves to them, I promise they won't bite.

Soul walked over to them without hesitation, because he trusted Professor Oak after he learned more about him in his old world, knowing that, he wouldn't do anything that could harm him.

Those three Pokemons glanced over at Soul. When they looked at each other's, Soul quickly gave them a genuinely warm smile.

Those three Pokemons could feel no bad intentions coming from him and quickly went to him as they all introduced themselves.

Eevee: Eevee!

Pidgey: Chirp, chirp!

Poliwag: Poli-Poliwag!

Soul: Nice to meet you, too, Eevee, Pidgey, and Poliwag. My name is Soul, I will be staying here for a while. I hope that we can get along.

With a warm smile again, Eevee quickly went to him and jumped on him. This caught him by surprise, as he fell down on the grass field. He could feel something slimy touching his face.

When he opened his eyes, he noticed that Eevee keep l.i.c.k.i.n.g him all over his face, which tickles him making him laughs, as he could feel an overwhelming emotion of happiness.

Soul: Haha! Eevee come on now stop that! It's tickling, haha!

Eevee: Eevee!

It kept l.i.c.k.i.n.g him all over his face for a full-fledged 5 minutes, even Professor Oak didn't know what to do and only wait for them to be finished.

After it was finished l.i.c.k.i.n.g him, Soul now has Eevee salvias all over his face.

Oak: Haha! Would you look at that? Seems like Eevee here is quite fond of you, Soul. I never saw her acting that way before.

Soul: Yeah it was a good experience for me, but now I have Pokemon salvia all over my face! Yuck!

Oak: How about you go take a bath? I'll be feeding the Pokemons while you're doing that.

Soul: Ok, see you later gramps!

Oak waved his hand back as Soul went to take out his clothes and took a bath. He already got his stuff brought here earlier by his mom, when he went to train this morning.

After a while Soul was finish taking his bath and quickly changed to a white t-shirt with black pants and his normal black shoes. Of course, he also wears u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r underneath his pant.

He went outside to the garden again and saw that Professor Oak was feeding the Pokemons around the area. There were various types of Pokemons here Soul haven't seen before when he was reincarnated. And by that, he meant face to face look.

Some of them looked like they could take a few hits from a rocket, some look pretty cute and some of them look likes they could be ridden on.

Oak noticed Soul stared at the Pokemons, slowly walked to him, and asked with a smile.

Oak: Fascinating creatures aren't they? I always wanted to explore and find every kind of Pokemons out there. But of course, because of my old bones, I can't anymore. Soul, when you're old enough to take on adventures, would you like to help me with my dream?

Soul thought for it for a second before nodding with a determined smile.

Soul: Of course gramps, I would also like to see everything this world has to offers to me.

Professor Oak couldn't help but smile at this. When he was young, he was always a curious child, seeing his old self in this young boy, he couldn't help but ask him.

Oak: Soul would you like to become my assistant?

This shocked Soul, as he didn't expect that Professor Oak to say something like that. He looked confused for a moment before asking.

Soul: Why me? Aren't I'm too young for it?

Oak: Well, you have a remarkable knowledge about Pokemons and incredible intelligence for 6 years old child. I could also feel your love and curiosity for the Pokemons. Just like I did, when I was young. So in short, I could see my young self in you. Do you accept my offer?

Soul thought for a while. Should he accept this or not? It would make his scheduled a lot busier than normal and he wouldn't have a lot of time to train.

But it could also give him a lot of benefits, as he would be one far more step than other trainers, when he begins his journey and who's know, maybe he gets to go to various places with him. So he accepted his offer.

Soul: I accept your offer, Professor Oak.

Oak: What did I say before? No need for formalities, but since you are now my assistance, you can call me Professor if you like.

They stayed for a while in a sitting position, while waiting for the sun to fall down. Eevee and a bunch of other small Pokemons joined them, cuddling with them while watching the sunset together before they went back and ate dinner and went to sleep.
