Pokemon The Force

Arriving at the Fuschia City, Soul could see an old Japanese mansion from afar. That place is where his next gym battle would take place.

But right now, they need to rest. It was a long day for him and his Pokemons after all when they fought against Team Rocket members, well… Anubis did. Why didn't he just bring up more of his Pokemons? Maybe he should do it next time if it happens again.

Walking to where the Pokecenter was, he rented a room for a night before going to a nearby forest and started to make some Pokemon foods for his team. Luckily he found one where there's a lake so Lapras could stay in the water while eating.

They still need to train on its movement on land.

Finishing eating their foods, they're all rested for a while before starting their daily training. Once in a while, they would be sparing against each other to see how far they've come. It would also help them test their moves and train their reflexes.

Soul would always heal them if they got any injuries after the match, so he would also get some training for himself besides meditating and other stuff he doesn't want to mention right now.

When they were done training, there was still some time left so Soul spent his time and played with his Pokemons, as all of them were happy to spend their time with him.

Next day…

The next day, Soul was ready to fight against the Fuschia Gym, which would be his 5th gym battle in Kanto.

Its already been a few months already since he started on his journey, and if Soul could win this battle, he would only need three more badges to enter the annual Pokemon League.

Excited by the thought, he walked over to where the Fuschia Gym was. As soon as he steps in on the gym property, he could feel someone was looking at him from the trees.

Maybe its the gym leader or one of his subordinates. If he remembered it correctly from the game, wasn't there some sort of invisible maze, that you need to go through before battling the gym leader?

He should be able to sense the invisible wall around him, but not to where to know how the maze structure is.

Arriving at the entrance, Soul opened an old Japanese wooden door and saw an old Japanese wooden floor. When he walked in he could sense the invisible wall in front of him.

Soul: 'Well… this is going to take some time.'

3 minutes later…

Soul: 'Almost there…'

Another 3 minutes later…

Soul: 'How come I'm back from where I started!?'

Another, another 3 minutes later…

Soul: 'Finally I'm out!'

Soul felt like he could cry right now if it wasn't for the 'stalker' that was spying on him. Do they do this on all the trainers who come here?

Opening the wooden door, Soul arrived at a garden. He saw another wooden door on the other side of the garden and went to open it.

Inside Soul could see an old man with a ninja outfit sitting in a Japanese sitting posture. The stalker was now over them and hid in the ceiling.

When he walked in, the gym leader, Koga stood up from the ground and turn his back to meet Soul.

Koga: So… you're the trainer who has come to challenge me? If that so then be prepared to be defeat.

Soul: I could say the same, I am confident in my own capacity and the ability of my Pokemons to defeat you-

Koga: Then let me see that ability of yours Pokemon.

Soul: By the way, are you're going to let the person, who followed me all the way here from when I stepped in the gym to be the judge?

Hearing this both Koga and the person who hid in the shadow was shocked. The person in the shadow became embarrassed over a 10 years old kid who could expose her position.

Koga was also surprised by this young trainer's ability to sense his daughter followed him. He composed himself and gave Soul an approval smile.

Koga: Impressive. Janine, you can come out now, you're already have been exposed to this young lad.

Janine: Yes, dad.

Then suddenly, a female ninja who looks like a younger female version of Koga came out from the ceiling.

She took a small glance at Soul before returning to her position as a judge of this match.

She couldn't deny that she was also interested in this battle and what this young trainer, who could sense her do.

Janine: This battle is between the gym leader of Fuschia Gym, Koga against the challenger. Both parties can only use up to four Pokemons and only the challenger can change their Pokemons during the battle.

Koga took out a Pokeball, followed up by Soul as they both called out their Pokemons to battle.

Koga: Go, Koffing!

Soul: Noibat, I choose you.

When both of them send out their Pokemons, Janine gave out the signal to start the fight.

Soul: Noibat uses Air Slash.

Noibat sent out several slashes made out of the air, as it went flying against Koffing at high speed.

Koga: Koffing, use Smog!

Koffing's mouth blew out a powerful poisonous air against Noibat's attack. When both of the moves collide with each other, Koffing's attack got destroyed as it got directly hit by several powerful Air Slash from Noibat.

Soul: Finish it off with Dragon Rush.

Noibat's whole body was cover itself with dragon energy, as its whole body looked like a blue dragon and went to strike the dazed Koffing.

*Boom*

Koffing fainted!

Both the father-daughter duo were shocked by how the battle ended so fast that Koga couldn't even manage to hit the enemy. This is going to be troublesome for him.

Janine: Koffing is unable to battle. The winner of this battle is the challenger!

Soul: Good job, Noibat.

Noibat: Noibat!

Koga returned the fainted Koffing to its Pokeball and send out another Pokeball. This time it was an evolved form of Koffing, a Weezing.

Koga: 'Looks like I have to be more careful with this youth.'

Soul: Noibat uses Agility then Steel Wing at Weezing.

Noibat body begins to shine white as it speeds increased, making it faster and harder to hit. Both of its wings begin to glow metal color as it flew toward Weezing at a fast pace.

Seeing the incoming attack, Koga took action immediately.

Koga: Weezing uses Poison Gas.

Weezing body begins to produce purple gas, that is moving around its body. Seeing this Soul panicked a little.

Soul: Noibat stop on what you are doing and use Gust!

Noibat stops on its track, as it was one meter close to hit the poison gas and start to flap its wings, creating large gust to move the poisonous gas away from it.

Soul: 'I have to be more careful, this guy is a gym leader and ninja after all. Tricks are one of the things they're are good at.'

Koga: If you won't make the next move then I'll do it for you, Weezing uses Sludge!

Weezing spat out a mouthful of purple slimeball, aiming at where Noitbat is.

Soul: Dodge it then uses Double Team and Air Cutter.

Noibat dodges the incoming attack by fly to the side. Suddenly several Noibat's came out of nowhere, and all of them uses Air Cutter at the same time at Weezing.

Koga: Weezing use Heatwave!

Soul was a bit surprised by that Weezing could use Heatwave, but still, hold on his smile.

When the Heatwave was released, all the fake attacks and Noibat's disappeared, as when the real attack collides with it, it created dust of smokes.

Suddenly Noibat could be seen behind Weezing, as both of its wings shines brightly. Koga couldn't do anything as Weezing got hit from behind by a powerful Steel Wing.

Soul: Finish it with Air Cutter.

Two waves of air slash were sent to where the flying Weezing is. The two slashes combined with each other and created an x mark before hitting Weezing, causing it to faint.

Suddenly Noibat's body begins to glow...
