Pokemon: The Wandering Guardian

"Ughhh …". A familiar feeling resided on my c.h.e.s.t I open my eyes to see a small Mudkip asleep on my c.h.e.s.t.

Looking around the tree and noticing many different Pokemon surrounding me all snuggling together.

' I guess I won't be lonely anymore.' Somehow a previous feeling seemed to unknot itself as I silently watch the sun rise above the distant tree-line.

After that morning I started to explore the surrounding area every day. I spent most of my time playing with various Pokemon and building up different relationsh.i.p.s.

I found many different fruits and herbs and learned what was edible by interacting with many different Pokemon. Some of them were approachable while some were openly hostile. At least most of the wild Pokemon seemed to be somewhat curious about my presence especially the young ones.

Most of my explorations where under the watch of the small Mudkip. It keeps sneaking away from the supervising Marshtomp to follow me on my little expeditions. It was always hiding from me as if I didn't know that it was there. I played along and just decided to ignore it.

I spent my time day by day observing and learning many things through my interactions.

One of which was that almost every older Pokemon from the nearby forrest and the seemed to hunt Magikarp and other small fish from the creek. While the Magikarp population did not seem to go down. Either that species was dumb or it was helpless to not be able to avoid its predators.

One day I surprisingly came across a pack of Poochyena and they tackled me which knocked me down. These pups started to lick me and nibble on me for what felt like forever.

Luckily they stopped when they did because of what I assume is their mother barked very aggressively at me. I finally crawled out of the pile and see two large Mightyena standing on a boulder.

[ Mightyena POV ]

They came over to see where their pups were and saw the pups interacting with an unknown human. One of them growled but was not directly hostile since he was under a pile of her puppies. They both sensed a kind of calming and attractive aura surrounding this human.

After a few more warning barks the pups seemed to come along grudgingly. Both of us turned back to the human and left.

[ MC POV ]

Those pups really liked to play. They actually tore my makeshift shirt but luckily that Mightyena stopped them before they could do the same to the pair of pants that I woke up with.

I played on the ground staring up at the clouds contemplating on my next plans.

The bushes rustle and a familiar Mudkip came out with some Pecha berries. I picking up a berry not carrying for manners because she has done this many times. While I am munching on it I receive a large amount of water to the face soaking me.

'That should be good enough to get rid of the Poochyena slobber'

Laughing it off and feeling a little carefree I hear a loud "SNAP".

"Plop" "Thud"
