Pokemon: Trainer’s Log In A Chaotic World

It's been a week since the Pokemon games ended. Other than the standard training Austin's main focus was the drawing the blueprints for the expansion of the city state of Asadia.

The drawing and planning was going great but their was a big issue Austin could not solve. It was how to gather the manpower. Although Asadia was big and had a lot of trainers, they were merely a fraction of the total population.

The amount of money needed to expand the city-state in order to make room for the huge cell towers was above what Asadia could currently handle. The time it would take to build would also be very long at least ten years. This number can be reduced by half if in place of humans, fighting type and psychic type Pokemon worked together to build it.

The problem was very few had psychic/fighting types and even fewer had the strength to do the task.

Austin was currently on his was to Muliere's Gym. He received a call that the aura awakening device and aura testing device have been prepared.

In the gym before Austin's arrival...

"The meeting with Ivan went well last week. After Austin awakens his aura, depending on the type and amount, Kaldia will send an aura guardian to be his teacher. The deal with the Z Stones also went well although we couldn't get the amount we dėsɨrėd." said Muliere.

????: "Looks Like we have to give out the stones to those with the highest contributions. Let someone make a mission quota, as long as the trainers can meet there mission quota they can apply for a Z-stone. How is the situation in the city? I noticed improvement while I was away."

Muliere respectfully replied, "There were many issues that have been solved. the most immediate one was money. These days not many companies invested into simple practical technology. Austin built a electronic eyewear that includes night vision and heat vision technology. He was kind enough to allow the league to handle the business. The same could be said for his other findings which were to raise Pokémon based on nature, Pokémon schools and basic education for non-trainers.

The best idea though that truly brought life to the city was making trainers enter the entertainment industry. Although for the wrong reasons, this made a majority of trainers that were lagging behind begin to train seriously. Its far better than the dead expressions that was on their faces previously."

???? smiled towards muliere, "Interesting, many of these trainers will regret it if they ever become B-rank. This move might have been shameless on your part, since the dangers they felt when chosen are real. Now under the guise of becoming the best and being showered in riches, many trainers will come forward trying their best. Once they become B-rank, they will be horrified at the true enemy we are facing."

???? continued after a short pause, "Muliere you are the appointed Gym leader why are you being so polite. Also I'm a few years younger than you so just treat me as a younger brother."

Muliere got annoyed at ???? and said, " Vince you always say this but then start bullying this old man just be cause your strong. Speaking of which shouldn't you the strongest trainer in Asadia be more professional. Lying down on the couch, with your feet on the table a cigar in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. You are the face on our league so at least show it."

Vince laughed saying," Old fool say that to me again, would you like to have a battle again. i am constantly out all night fighting those ȧssholes so i have the right to chill. plus what good does image do for you, you become bald with all these insignificant issues."

" Dam I wish our teachers didn't pass, if they were here you would be as quiet a a freaking mouse." muliere cursed back.

Vince fixed his posture and said: " speaking our teachers, did you find their kid yet? they said he has things that can help us tame that damned beast."

Muliere had a sad expression when he heard that and said," No there was no records of them having a kid, they were very thorough in hiding all info. I searched for all orphans who was in the orphanage from the time of the accident, but no one match nor did anyone have the item they mentioned."

Vince replied while sighing," Who can blame them? if it wasn't for them this city would have become like the city-state of Utopia. Those bastards from Dark Corp almost made our place(Asadia) a place of ****, arson, abuse, slavery, and drug abuse. I am happy that they swooped in and caused that blood bath, cleaning away the filth that contaminated this country."

Muliere nodded in agreement, " Yes thank god for them, Anyways what should i do regarding the B-rank promotion exam for Austin? he is bright and already defeated a B-ranks secondary team."

Vince said after some thinking, " We shouldn't make it easy for him. How about we do this: Instead of making him a B-rank like we use to do lets split the exam into 4 fields. This is something I have been working on but i could not implement it since not many wanted to become trainers. The first is a general written exams, it will encompass basic knowledge a trainer should know by now, as well as question of what would you do in certain scenarios. This exam will determine whether he is suited to be a leader or a grunt. .

The second exam will be the live battle with a b-rank. Austin passed this so we can skip it. For other trainers, they don't have to win they just need to show that they can hold their own in the fight.

The Third exam will be the Aura test, To verify if he has the ability to train aura. His talent in aura and the type of aura. if they can use Aura or psychic they wont fail but will take a sub profession test. This part is to determine their position in B-rank. it is considered failing if you have any specialization.

The forth test is a hard one but i believe its necessary. We will put the test takers in a dream made by a ghost Pokémon. The dream will place the trainers in an impossible situation. I want to see their will to live. I want to see if they would simply give up or try to survive. I set up four dream scenarios and my gengar will test the kid...... why are you looking so shocked for." At the same time in front of the Pokémon gym Austin shivered for some reason.

as Vince was explaining Muliere was speechless. when he heard Vince reprimand him he got angry and shouted, " Why do you want to do that to the only S-rank potential in our entire city. how about you try that on Jacob the A-rank potential I'm fine with that. I disagree to allow this genius to be broken bye your hands."

somewhere outside of Asadia...

For some reason Jacob who was in a joint mission with Sky shivered.

"What's wrong getting second guess about going out with me" sky glared at him.

"Noooo, I was just shaking in excitement now that I'm not single anymore." jacob ,like a whipped.. I mean.., hastily responded to please sky.

"Now that what I like to hear." Sky began to giggle as they returned together from their mission.

Back at the gym.....

Austin says, " Hey Leader why are you yelling? who is this?
