A teenager standing by the opened door, a boy, with such a young appearance he looked younger than 14 but he was actually 15 years of age his name is Snow.

'Hurry up sis! We will be late for the raid'

He was in a hurry but at the same time calm as his younger sister who was a years younger and goes by the name White approached him and soon they both left the apartment.

It wasn't so much but it was a rundown apartment that could be easily afforded, after all they have decided not to become a hunter due to their lowest rank level as an E-Rank but instead they decided to  make a living as a potter.

It was a sunny day but that was a lie, the cloud soon gathered together like they have had pre-agreement to assign today as their meeting day, it wasn't long then came after loud thundering claps as if one of it had made an outstanding speech.

Staring at the cloud the two siblings stood in cue in other to make use of the Transport gate located in front of them. After all where they lived was far from the main city which is constantly busy by hunters, unfortunate hunters and regular humans who weren't born with magical energy within them.

He was born with magical energy along with his sister well unlike his sister who showed abilities, his own developed at the death of his father, perhaps his trauma of losing his dad must have triggered it.

Soon it was their turn to use the transport gate as they tendered their ticket to the lady present at the little office made beside the transport gate

'You two be careful, alright'

'Of course we will, Miss Naomi'

The lady replied out of familiarity since they were her neighbors so she felt it would be nice to cheer them up ones in a while, meanwhile the siblings replied cheerfully as they waved and vanished in the gate.

Like a teleporting machine the siblings appeared at the designated gate, staring at the cloud the two soon joined the crowd and in haste their legs moved faster

'Hey brother, do you like miss naomi?'

'Where did that come from sis'

The sister asked while he got fl.u.s.tered from the sudden question, though he had interest in the lady but he felt that she was way out of her league, however, since they had known each other since childhood, perhaps you could say his inferiority complex took over as he considered himself not her type.

'Be honest'

'Fine i do like her, but i am probably not her type of guy'

He said staring at his cute little sister whose long hair could be long enough to cover her b.u.t.t, she giggled gently, her lips were as pink as a cherry blossom petals and she couldn't hide her naughtiness.

'Stop messing with me, my heart is delicate and should be handled with care'

He said trying to make her sister laugh even more forgetting they were late.

Soon the cloud let out few tears, as they felt few drops of rain on their skin they ones more looked up to the sky and decided it was time to run.

They ran as fast as they could but the brother was worried about his sister health conditions as he kept staring at her.

They ran towards the tallest building in the city which happened to be the Hunter Welfare Association Building located at the center of the city few miles away from them.

Getting at their destination they both ran into a run down build which had it entrance wide open, the floors were made of woods and the members were sitting at the round table located at the left corner of the building and at the other side of the building had few desk set up as an office run by regular humans.

The guild members approach the two siblings, the broad and muscular man happened to be the guild leader he was an A-Rank Tanker, beside him were a male and female, both were A-Ranks a mage and fighter, the s.e.xy mage was pretty as well and behind them were assassin, support, and few extra fighters that consists of B-C Rank hunters, their equipment werent bad compared to S-Rank hunters, and in total they were ten in numbers.

Feeling annoyed they stood in front of the siblings.

'You two are late'

The muscular man spoke and glared at them both

Panting for air after running their lungs out they came to their sense and stood properly

'Am sorry Mr. HANZO, my sister sickness became a little bit stubborn as of this morning'

He said staring at mr hanzo to understand, after all he had spoke to him about his sister unstable condition and he had promised and failed to provide the necessary equipment that required potters to venture into the dungeons

'It is not my fault you two became E-Rank, well forgive me but i will say this the last time, come late next time and i will throw you two out of the guild'

He said and walked passed them, and the rest went along with him

'Forgive me Mr Hanzo, it wont happen...'

'Hurry it up already!'

Not giving them more time to waste Hanzo yelled at them and soon the siblings quickly went and picked up the two heavy bags on the floor and hastily joined the team.

They all got into the guild transport vehicles like a modernized truck powered by Crystal Ores, and they all set of to the dungeon.

The sister soon began to cough, a dry one at that, her lungs were in pains as she coughed, everyone staring at the two siblings understood well that his sister body wont last long at this rate.

The brother offered a mixed colour drugs to her sister and made sure she swallowed it properly and in that instant placed a plastic bottle water in between her lips as she drank from it.

Soon she had relaxed and like magic tricks her cough stopped instantly after taking her medication, and she then relaxed her head on her brothers shoulder for a quick nap.

Like couples falling over heels for each other this two weren't much of a difference, he pat her head gently and everyone staring at them could feel their siblings love everywhere, some even got jealous and fl.u.s.tered a little as some wish they could switch places with snow.

After a long drive they soon arrived deep in the forest which was a restricted zone to humans aside from hunters.

With a sudden brake applied to a moving vehicle the truck came to an abrupt stop that woke his sister.

Everyone began to exit from the vehicle as their leader approached the two officials present in front of the cave like dungeon with two pillars by it sides and surrounded by protective barriers.

This two officials were here to make sure those that had booked to clear the dungeons were present and were willing to sign the death and life contract regarding any incidents that were to occur in the dungeons.

Mr Hanzo being the leader tendered his raid licence for approval and as well signed, he was about to venture into the dungeon when his attention was called upon by their team porter

'Mr Hanzo! Wait, you never said we were going go hunt in one of the oldest dungeons in the world!'

The kid said trying to dissuade mr hanzo

'Yes that's right, well unlike the other oldest dungeon this one has only been visited twice and we will become the third if lucky, no since we are stronger than the previous set, we will clear this dungeon'

Mr hanzo said in counter to the kids quarry

'Still even those that survived this dungeon were only two in records, how are we...'

As he spoke more mr hanzo was getting pissed knowing fully well the kid was whining

'Shut it! And quit whining '

He yelled at the kid!

' i am not, i am only worried my sister condition would get worse if she venture into an old dungeon at her current state'

'Fine, then stay here with her, but when i return you will be kicked out of the guild alongside her'

Mr hanzo said feeling pissed and dashed into the dungeon.

Everyone had joined mr hanzo leaving the siblings behind.

'You worry too much, i will be fine, besides i bought this mana particles filtering bracelet with the money we earned from the last raid"

White said trying her best to ease his brothers mind and trying to encourage him instead she smiled in a mischievous manner.

'Say if we get out of here alive, promise me you will ask miss naomi out on a date'

She said waiting for her fl.u.s.tered elder brother's reply, she could tell her v.i.r.g.i.n elder brother still doesn't know his way with girls

'If that will please you, then i will and hopefully she doesn't turn me down'

They both stared at each other and chuckle a little before deciding to venture into the dungeon.

Like someone dreaming from a fantasy of thought after a long length of fantasy movie what awaits them was an eye filled of amazement.

This would be their first time to actually venture into a field type dungeon, the sky was blue and clouds dance here and there, sunlight wasn't present but it was a clear scene even for those still dumb founded by the beauty of this environment.

The field was green in nature and had some trees at their respective designations, water fall in the distant and birds or rather monsters flew here and there, and in the far distant was a huge castle usually found in princesses story but unlike those this had an eerie feeling to it.

Everyone who had been lost in awe was soon made to pay attention to the monsters spawning out of the ground and portals.

Like a defensive system made to apprehend intruders this monsters where ferocious, they were all humanoids monster, some in all black figure and others in plain light figure like they were made of dark and light properties, their eyes showed their killing intent and their aura were far greater than a regular A-Rank hunter, their present made it hard for snow and his sister to move an inch nor breath properly.

The truth is, ever since white began to show abnormalities due to the side effect of constant visit to the dungeons her body had began absorbing the particles produced in these dungeons and they are called the Mana Particles, due to the mana storing in her body she has grown to know the difference in mana flow and as of which understand the difference between mana from one person to another or monsters to another.

Been able to know this she constantly crumble in fear, though the two sibling began being a porter at the same time but they say females absorb mana particles faster than the males due to their differences in reproductive system. That is why snow himself isn't much affected but he very well could know the difference even from little mana absorption his sense are heightened and Could as well feel the pressure more than an average A-Rank hunter.

Everyone preparing for an attack while snow and white soon hide far from the fighting force as their job was to pick monster cores and not to fight.

Magic attacks flew here and there, light of weapons clashes here and there, few injuries and soon the so called furious rage of attack soon came to an end.

Mr hanzo slaying the last one while staring back to look at the casualties only to find the mages healing the rest of the injured members.

Like they wanted more they soon approached the castle door leaving behind snow and white who were busy picking cores and drop items from the defeated monsters.

The cores were black cubes with colour lines all over it that glows, the different the colour the different the monster, the brighter the colour glowed the high its value.

People say brighter cores sells higher and you could even own a well made apartment with just 5 of things like what snow was holding before the cube had joined to meet it fellow cores in the pouch held by snow hands.

'Well this isn't ours after all we only get paid from just a little work we do'

Snow calmly said while making fun of himself as his sister approached and hit him from behind.

They both went to join the team who stood and stare at the gate for a brief moment before opening it only to be interrupted again by snow

'Mr. Hanzo! Do you think we should go further? Besides the team has gotten times 5 of what its usually gotten from new dungeons'

Snow said trying to persuade him but knowing his guild leader he was not backing down

'Hey kid, i am the boss around here, so don't tell me what to do, and besides it will be a great fetch if we clear this dungeon and according to the report, the boss in this room is constantly asleep'

He said and pushed the gigantic door open and it noice alone could notify even a sleeping dragon to be awake and defend it territory and like a deserted castle the empty room seems to be lacking of monsters as they decided to walk inside

'Besides we are only killing the monsters, we could leave the boss for tomorrow'

Mr Hanzo said trying to deceive the kid, but this kid already know his type of people, they are the type that got his father killed and knowing that, he proceeded with caution with his sister behind them.

Like a guest awaiting someone to attended to them the stairs soon presented itself.

Astonished by the lack of monsters present within the castle they matched forward while aiming to climb the stairs.

The tiles on the floor where glossy like, from the entrance down to above the stairs it was like a chess board consisting of black and white tiles.

Walking on the stairs even a normal human would think they were walking up the stair but in reality it was the opposite, noticing this snow quickly responded

'This stairs doesn't lead up, it leads down, our entrance had long since vanished"

And soon after his statement they all realised they had gotten far to turn back, like a food placed on a trap to catch mice everyone aside snow and his sister where soon enticed by the single light they had saw in this dark environment.

In haste they all dash towards the light and as usual snow and his sister took caution and followed but the moment they existed the stairs and walked few inches forward from the entrance their gaze was fixed upon the boss of the room while forgetting the beautiful settings of the spacious room or chamber

The chamber was so spacious and big, comparing it to a self made stadium is an insult to this chamber, it was big enough to house five blocks of apartment buildings or even more, at the far end was a waterfall, birds chip and flew around like it was natural to them, there was a pool not so far from the water fall and in between that pool was a pavement with black and white symbols.

In this pavement lies two human like monsters, they were asleep and the reflection from the glass ceilings illuminated their sleeping position, the sky beyond the glass ceiling was night and day trying to blend together but was impossible.

The two human monsters slept quietly, a male and female they were, the female with black hair and white gown and the male with black jacket like cloth seen in the persian era movies whom had white hairs.

The aura produced by this two send chills down their spines, white voice could almost be heard as her hand had instantly helped in suppressing her voice while she fell to her kneels and shiver in fear, snow knew if this monsters were to awaken things would go side ways.

He stared at mr hanzo who signaled everyone with his eyes to leave the room, like they were all waiting for him to give his signal they all sneakily made their escape to leave the room.

Like a whistle attached to a projectile all they could see was an instant flash of something moving past them with a whistling sound in a blink of an eye.

What had past them was nothing more than a black arrow and a silver like dart or rather white dart which had stroke the distant wall as it gradually disperse into thin air.

Everyone holding their position in shock, the door instantly shut itself leaving them trapped in the boss room.

Knowing their fate they all turned to look at the direction the attack had came from.

The two bosses had just awakened, their eyes open slowly and soon they detected the present of filthy humans.

'Humans?'

'Yes sis, humans, but i wonder why they decided to wake us up at the wrong time again'

The two bosses helped themselves get up like couples that does everything for each other, in shock everyone trembled in fear as the aura they had felt before were just a small portion and now that they are awake even the aura coming from this two was far beyond anything anyone could ever imagine.

The bosses began their approach, each step they made was counted, the moment they walked on the water surrounding the pavement everyone assumed their fighting position but snow and white where far behind, snow had known even if anyone was to survived it would come down to either one or two but at the least he wanted his kid sister to at least survive if anything.

Like a psychic reading ones mind the boss had already read the mind of the intruders and had found snows theory more amusing

'That is right young human, only two people will be allowed to leave alive'

The male boss said as they both stood and took a sitting position only for the empty space to be replaced by a royal chair made of black and white crystals.

The bosses sat and stare at them and everyone seeing them kept swallowing their saliva as cold sweat drip down their chin, they knew they had to fight their way out but snow had known very well the greed of his guild and very well knew they all would fallout and fight each other for survival so he sneakily went to a safe place with his sister.

This bosses didn't sit because they felt like it but because they wanted to watch the spectacle about to unfold as they both smiled at each other like king and queens of a kingdom being entertained by it citizens

They dont just have royalty presence they also have that couple like feeling or rather newly wedded couples.

'We would have done this ourself but we are quite in a good mood you see'

'And in other to make it easier you all will have to decide who stays and who leaves'

Soon the guild members face each other with intent to kill.

Snow knew it was a simple instructions but mans greed and betrayal can easily blindfold them, pick just two that leaves and the rest stays, yet they all decided to kill each other.

To snow this could be a perfect chance for him and sister to survive, that was his thought well if only things wouldn't go side ways.

Like a whistle been blown for a match to start everyone began a barrage of attack on each other from a single squeak of bird sound.

And then the battle went on an on for about an hour but in that moment snow and white who were avoiding this attacks while hiding in safe position soon got hit by an explosive attack that occur an inch closer to them both.

This explosion sent snow and white far behind the sitting bosses. The so called pure blue like pool of water had dyed red and as expected mr Hanzo and his vice captain who was a fighter called Harry had survived.

The pavement where the bosses had laid began to reconstruct itself and like an alarm waking someone, snow had woken up with a concoction by the mechanical noises made from the pavement.

Trying to find his sister he soon realised white was laying beside him and she was missing her right hand.

Mr hanzo and Harry soon depart to leave through the now opened door while leaving behind the dead bodies of their guild members, he was soon called upon by the wailing scream of Snow who had called upon mr Hanzo for assistant.

'Mr hanzo please help! My, my sister is dieing!'

Feeling annoyed for why he was alive Mr Hanzo glared with no remorse, his glare showed pure anger

'Sorry kid, like the boss said, only two are meant to leave here alive and we cant afford to take petty E-rank humans with us any further and as of which i never want to see you again...'

Mr Hanzo soon turned to leave with his vice captain

'Do me the favour and die here for us'

As they stepped onto the stairs the door shut ones more, the noise got heavy like the room has gotten emptier from the door closing

In shock snow stared to the glassy ceiling and forgetting he himself had lost both an arm and legs.

As he cried in absolute pain, his attention was soon called back by his sister who had coughed like she had choked on something.

In worries his brother who already had her head placed on his l.a.p.s soon smiled at his sister, "oh thank goodness that you are alive"

Making sure the sister was breathing his worries which was now restart was soon brought before him

The two bosses had turned around to the left over, only to be amazed by their site

They found their past self in this two humans before them, but they giggle like they cared less of what was going on.

'Sis, i cant believe the human boy was more worried for the second human...'

The male boss was soon interrupted

'Hey you two, i know I shouldn't ask when i know we will die soon, but just Incase, i wouldn't mind of what became of me but my sister, could you help her?'

Snow ask politely knowing fully well of their position, he has become more calmer or should it be the opposite of an insane human with no hope acting to be calm? His life was on the line as well as his sis, but he needed to make sure he at lease get his sister out of this hell.

'Even if we were to help you we will still have to kill you two, well right now only father could help you'

The female boss spoke in mockery manner, she was beautiful like a human and even the male boss was quite handsome.

'Oh that, right, God created the world tree so father must be him'

Like a joke from someone who had lost all hope snow closed his eyes and soon he heard a mechanical tones like the pavement they are on had began to move again and yet he cared less for he needed to make sure his sister survived no matter what.

'Father...!'

The moment he said that word, his heart was pierced right out of it placed by black arrow and his sister own was not different and soon they both laid dead on the pavement covered in blood that dripped down from the pavement into the pool of blood.

In that still moment of silence he felt himself drifting deep into the darkness even though his heart was still beating fast while hanging by the arrow that had pierced his heart straight to the wall.

Like a father giving his son the freehand to play he was given the chance to speak

'Father? Creator of man, creator of all things before man, i know this is coming late, that is why i will ask for one thing...'

Like he is drifting more into the darkness he felt the hand of his sister beside him

'in place of my death please let my sister live and should there be a chance of me surviving as well i promise to get strong and protect her'

Like a father replying to his son wish they both heard a voice

'If this is your wish then i shall grant it and as a reward for your bravery and becoming the first to pray to me in ten thousand years no harm shall befall you and not even death would lay a finger on you and your sister for my word is unchangeable'

Like a god accepting a sacrifice an astral being appeared before the two boss monster

'I have accepted thy offering and as a reward you two shall return to the place thy d.e.s.i.r.ed'

The being said

'Thank you father'

They both said and bowed in unison for a child respect to his or her father far exceed that of a king and servants.
