Prisoner of her love

Vivian was very reluctant to live with her boss but was left with no choice. She agreed and was currently living with him. Despite some questionable reasons, she had to follow his order, but surprisingly Adam never mistreated Vivian. He gave her privacy , let her do whatever she wanted to do, he knew she loved eating and would get his chef make her favorite food and stuff like that. Vivian was having a good time at his place.

Even though she had her own bedroom she still had some issues, so she would literally lock the door before sleeping. Not that she was not trusting her boss but it still felt weird.

On the other hand Adam was having the time of his life. For him, life was never so wonderful before. He could see her everyday, talk to her everyday, she would always be within his reach.

He was genuinely content and happy. Many times he tried cheesy lines on her but Vivian was either very dense or emotionless that she would ignore them blatantly. He was not sure how to win her heart. She was so different from the others.

People would gossip about the boss's new secretary. She was always distant to everyone but not with Adam. In very short time, Vivian learned to adapt to Adam's habits, routines, likes and dislikes.

As she started to learn more about him, her admiration for him increased. He was never a unreasonable person, and treated everyone with respect. Even though he was the sole owner of the huge business empire, he was humble and down to Earth.

Unknown feelings started creeping in her heart. She knew what it was, but choose to ignore it. She did not have any kind of faith or hope in romantic aspects and was non-reactive towards them.

Her one sided crush could be the reason behind this, but she couldn't explain the unwillingness to allow any other person to see her vulnerable side. She couldn't allow someone to break her heart again. This behavior was not normal but she couldn't change it.

"Miss Brandon, this weekend unfortunately, you cannot go anywhere. We have a very important auction to attend and my presence is important. As my personal secretory, you must be there as well. In return, on Monday you can ask for a leave. I hope you understand. "

"Yes, I do. Sir anyways I do not have any plans on weekend so it's totally fine with me. And for the leave I will gladly accept it. Is there any specific dress code for the event? Because I don't have clothes for such events."

"Yes, I was just going to ask you the same thing. It's fine if you don't have such clothes, we can always buy new, don't worry. After lunch we can go for shopping. "

"But Sir how can I —"

"It's alright, nothing much. I will buy myself new clothes as well. We can go together then, is that ok with you? "

"Absolutely. Now, let's have our lunch. "

Usually Vivian never wore such type of clothes, but it looked awfully good on her. She looked like a celebrity.

Adam was satisfied with his choice. It could never go wrong. But now he had other concerns to worry about, how to get rid of the annoying flies those would try to covet his Vivian?

Ahh, having a beautiful woman was a headache too....
