Prisoner of her love

Adam got ready and waited for Vivian to get down so that they can leave. He wore a suit which matched with Vivian's gown.

When Vivian came out, she took Adams breath away. Yesterday she was beautiful, but today she looked dazzling. Diamond necklace and earrings accompanied by makeup and loose curls made her look gorgeous.

"Shall we go? " Vivian asked.

"SIR! SHALL WE LEAVE NOW? WE ARE GETTING LATE! "

"um— Yes, we should leave. Sorry, I was a bit distracted. Let's go." Adam answered bashfully.

Today was the day of the grand auction, held by the Allen industries on the occasion of the Anniversary of Lukas Allen's late parents. He lost his parents because of Assassin attack twenty-two years ago. The only survivor was Lukas himself.

Due to unfavorable circumstances, he had to leave his grandfather, his only family behind and live as someone else. Today five years after his arrival as the true Allen heir, he was going to officially introduce himself in front of the whole world.

The money they would receive tonight would be donated to the orphanage named after his late mother.

The auction was vintage masked themed and guests would be wearing masks on their face.

Many big figures from the country were invited. Everyone was curious about the grand introduction of the Allen heir. Nobody knew how he looked and had zero information about him. Even before his introduction, he already became an important person in the business world.

Vivian was currently sitting with Adam. She was very curious about the whole auction thing. She heard about the Allen's from her boss. If anyone in the country who had the ability to challenge Adam Klein, it was the Allen Industries.

While there were other prominent buisness families like Brandon's in the country, nobody dared to offend Adam Klein. It would only mean one thing, courting death. That's why Adam personally came to see who exactly was the brain behind the huge Allen Empire. He was a worthy enemy for Adam and was looking forward to meet the Allen heir. The auction was just a mere excuse.

He had good relationship with the late Allen matriarch who died five years ago. While he never knew the existence of his grandchild. The matriarch was his mentor. He even offered Adam a job as vice president of the company, but Adam rejected him, thus starting his own business as it flourished today as a huge empire.

Adam respected him a lot. The matriarch knew his capacity, so he thought if he would be working with his company his grandson would have a great guru. He was dissapointed when Adam kindly rejected his offer. But nevertheless the relationship between them was rather pleasant.
