"I want to make you mine as soon as possible." Qing Wu Yao did not smile. There was no trace of joking. He was dead serious.

"And what I mean is that...I want the whole world to know that Qing Wu Yao already has a woman by his side."

Qing Wu Yao stop talking. He felt his throat gone dry.

"W-we should eat first." The foods were delivered in their table. Wine was serve, and the music continued playing.

Min Ju complied. She was hungry. She haven't had a full lunch earlier.

Qing Wu Yao was still nervous. His palm became more sweaty. She was eighteen years old and he was twenty. Many would definitely say that it was still early for him to ask her hand for marriage. But the consent of his family and Grandfather Fu was already enough for him to propose to her.

However, he wasn't sure if Min Ju would say 'yes' and that was he was worried about.

In his nervousness, Qing Wu Yao excuse himself to the comfort room. He excuse himself for five times. Inside the comfort room, Qing Wu Yao look at the mirror.

He took a long sharp breath before exhaling. Taking the small red velvet box in his pocket, he took a look at it. At first, this ring has a large diamond attach to its head but when he found out that Min Ju played piano he immediately let the jewelers to cut the diamond into a smaller size.

He smiled. Qing Wu Yao knew that Min Ju likes beautiful things and he hopes that Min Ju would like the ring he chose.

"Son, why do you keep coming here?" Qing Shen, Qing Wu Yao's father decided to follow him in the restroom.

"Dad, I'm nervous." He replied.

"Silly. I remembered my younger self on you. I was also like this when I ask your mother." Qing Shen smiled at his son.

"If she's not ready, respect her. And ask her again in the future." He grasp his son shoulder.

"Go, Min Ju is waiting for you. We'll be watching."

Qing Wu Yao came back straightening his tux. Min Ju was waiting for him in their table. While walking, the Qing Family send their support, Old Man Xiao and Grandfather Fu nodded at him.

Qing Wu Yao suddenly extend his hand at her and ask, "Will you dance with me?"

"I thought you wouldn't ask." Min Ju said and took his hand.

Qing Wu Yao twirl Min Ju once. After that, he hold her waist and let her hands rest in his shoulders.

Their body slowly moves with the music.

When Qing Wu Yao notice Min Ju watching him, he grew increasingly shy. He looked away from her gaze.

Min Ju raises her brow and her fingers traveled to Qing Wu Yao's jawline.

"Why aren't you looking at me? Did you do something wrong that's why you prepared something like this?" Min Ju blurted out her guess.

"No! Why would I?" Qing Wu Yao instantly reply.

"It's just that...you're making my heart beat faster." He said.

"I hate you..." Qing Wu Yao suddenly said.

Min Ju smiled widely and replied, "I hate you more..."

"I love you." Qing Wu Yao followed.

"I love you more..." She answered.

The both of laugh together. After gaining a little more courage from their bickering. Qing Wu Yao suddenly stops dancing and kneeled in one knee.

He Rue and the others scream in excitement.

"Min Ju, although our time wasn't that long, I'm kneeling in front of you to convey my feelings. People say, if you want to far, go together with someone you love. And I want to go far with you."

Qing Wu Yao took out the small box in his pocket and open it for her. He took a long breath and presented it to her. The ring sparkled as it was expose in the lights.

"Will you marry me?"

Min Ju did not answer immediately. She stared at his face for a moment before lifting her head to look at her Grandfather whose in return nodded at her.

"Say yes, Min Ju!" He Rue and the other girls shouted clearly excited for her.

"Why so sudden? You said you'll wait for me until I turn 25." Min Ju finally spoke.

"Isn't it the same? You'll be my fiance for seven years, and after seven years you'll be my wife forever." Qing Wu Yao answered.
