Did this grumpy old man just called me Grandpa One? What does that mean?

Does this mean that he wanted to steal my granddaughter away from me?!

He wanted my granddaughter to be his granddaughter!

"Mr. Xiao, I don't know why you're doing this but my granddaughter needs to spend some time with his grandfather."

"I understand. Well, Little Ju won't mind spending time with her grandfathers, right?"

Grandfather Fu wrinkles his brow.

"What do you mean grandfathers? She only had one grandfather. Don't make it sound like there are more of me."

"Correction. I'm here grandfather too. So, it is a plural. She have the two of us." Old Man Xiao argued.

Min Ju and He Rue watch at the side with twitching lips. Weren't sure whether to laugh or cry.

What the hell is going on?

Are they fighting over who's having time with who? This two silly old sprouts.

"No, no, no, no! When? How the hell did you become her grandfather? I'm only her grandfather!" Said Grandfather Fu.

"I became her grandfather yesterday. She call me Grandpa so I'm here grandfather too. We'll be calling each other Grandfather One and Two. How about that?"

"Huuuhh? Don't be silly! I want to spend some time with my granddaughter more! Don't steal her away from me!"

"I'm not stealing her away from you! We—" Before Old Man Xiao finish his sentence he was cut off by Min Ju.

"Enough." She had an angry vein on her cheeks threatening to burst. Her eyelid twitching. And her eyes glistening with annoyance making the two older men zip their mouth, afraid to anger the tigress in her prime.

Min Ju had a headache coming over because of the two. They are acting like children fighting over a toy...

"What are you fighting for? We can spend time as family. Me, the two of you with He Rue and Uncle He. The more the merrier okay? You don't have to fight over about each of your time with me. Grandpa, I don't mind another old man in the house. If you two needs to talk to me I am only one call away. I'm leaving. Try to get a long together." With one last harrumpth, the two young women storms out of the room.

"This is all of your fault!" They pointed at each other and talk at the same time.

Suddenly, they burst out laughing realizing that they act like children in front of two young women.

"I think we need to talk. It's very important." Old Man Xiao tried calm down

"Okay. Fine. I'll hear you out."

"I can't believe that I'm seeing Xiao Ren in person! He's an old man but he's presence was definitely powerful! Both of you are the same. Do you think those two will hit it off?" He Rue looked up to see Min Ju's straight face. Brows wrinkling together as if remembering something that she had forgotten.

"Sh*t." The girl muttered under her breath.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"It's Ki Shuang. He's probably waiting in the gate."

"Well sh*t."

"I'll call him. Go accompany your Dad. We'll be leaving after."

Min Ju immediately took out her phone, tapping Ki Shuang's number.

"This is Min Ju. Where are you?" This is what her greeting when the calls got connected.

"I'm here in front of your gate, boss. Freezing to death." As if in cue, she heard his trembling teeth making a sound.

"Don't exaggerate. Although it's cold in there, the wind there is refreshing. Right now, I'm here in the hospital. I think you should go home and come back tomorrow."

Fu Manor is in a rather secluded place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are only three houses situated in there—well, four if you include the Fu Manor. Although, the three houses were already occupied by someone, those people rarely comes home because of their work. She notice that they will appear in Friday and dissappear the day after tomorrow.

Dense trees are common in their area and the cold fresh air chilingly calming.

"Boss, what hospital? I'm coming over, this is my first day in the job. Truth be told, I'm very excited that I got this. Please don't keep this away from me." Ki Shuang's voice was steady and sincere and has a hint of pleading. He loves his work and he'll definitely keep this job.

"Han Hospital. Come over immediately and call for a cab. We're going home." She said, hearing his voice.

"Don't worry, boss. I have my old car. I can be the driver for the day. But if you don't want to, it's okay."

"That's fine. I don't judge. I don't care if your car is very old, I'm thankful that you're giving us a free ride. I hope five heads fit in the car? Someone was added to the family today!" Her tone cheerful and infectious. She ran her fingers into her long black hair as she made her way through Old Man Xiao's room to see what's happening between the two.

"Well, I guess that's my problem now. See you in a while, boss."

"See you."

Min Ju opened the door while ending the call. When she lifted her face, a smile form on her lips.

It seemed that her Grandfather and Old Man Xiao is getting along. They are talking and laughing in each others company.

"Ready to go home, Grandpa?" The young woman asked Grandfather Fu.
