Qi Xiuying: Another Transmigrate's Story

It is the day of the family's annual meeting. I have heard from mother that according to the spies planted by father in first uncle's courtyard the old patriach and first uncle plans to announce the change of Long's eldest son's fiance to my cousin Qi Fan. I really don't care about them but since the former Xiuying died because of them I'd gladly and slowly play them. I'm excited as it will be today that father plans to execute our plan to separate our family, they really don't deserve father's efforts in flourishing businesses.

Xue and Hua helped me prepare and I just let them choose whatever dress and accessories to wear, it was tiring even though I only need to stand or sit as they help me. They wake me up earlier than the usual just to bath, dress and fixed my hair. I noticed that they even added more rose petals and rose essence than the usual in my bath.

I just watched as they busy themselves, their eyes shown admiration when Hua put glass cherry blossom hairpin in my hair as a finishing touch for today's outfit I must say this body is blessed with beautiful darkest black eyes that would make oneself in daze, button nose that is of right size and shape complimenting the heart shaped face and lastly the small kissable lips that don't even need lip color as it is already pinkish red.

As for the outfit, my mother sent it yesterday and once I laid my eyes on it I was deeply impressed, Oh Mother we are really going to show them off today.

I chuckled as I look in the mirror, the dress simply emphasizes the curves of my body but it isn't vulgar, it screams elegance and noble. I'm glad that I easily adapt to the etiquette lessons given to me for few months otherwise I'll just be a clown in the eyes of our relatives.

"Ying'er are you ready?" Mother gently said as she open the door of my room. I can see that even her look for today wants to show to the main branch that we aren't a family to mess with. "Oh my! You are getting more beautiful as days goes by..."

Everyone noticed that my freckles aren't noticeable anymore and now they just add more charms to my face, I'm glad that I decided to make few beauty regiments to improve my looks and I also exercise to maintain my figure if I didn't, I believe I would look like the fatty Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z by staying indoors though sometimes I go outside with Hua and Xue if Father and Mother allows me.

"I'm ready now Mother and to whom do you think should I be thankful for inheriting my looks...?" I stand up and approach Mother who is now looking proud as I fawn on her.

"Of course it is from..."

"Your father right?" I laugh as father interrupted her and claim my praise.

"Really now? Are you sure about that, my dear husband?" Xue and Hua along with my mother and father's aides join the laughter as mother reprimands my father.

"Hahahaha my beloved of course it is from you although our daughter wouldn't be here without my contribution right?" My father, Qi Chen, winks at my mother as he answered.

"You...you!" My mother blushed as she hear my father's shameless statement.

"Yes my dear?"

I lightly cough to get their attention and look at my father to stop their antics as it won't end unless he gives in.

He scratch the back of his head then he changed the topic. "Ying'er this will be the first time you will join the family meeting thus I want you to always be alert we don't know if they still plan something today."

"Yes father."

"I also assigned a shadow guard starting today since after the banquet the elders of the family including me and your mother will have our meeting in the main hall."

I nodded then we went out from my courtyard and walk towards the main hall for the banquet. I'm really looking forward to this meeting and once our family is separated I can finally roam around the town without disguising and my parents won't have to be in the same treacherous family.
