Qi Xiuying: Another Transmigrate's Story

As we walk towards the main hall they passed the garden Xiuying noticed something in the pavilion. She hurriedly whispered something to her father and that she won't attend the banquet, he was about to object and narrowed his eyes as if he see right through her. Xiuyung smiled at him mischievously though Qi Chen didn't know what's going on in her daughter's mind he nodded.

Noticing that her daughter went to a different direction, "The banquet will start soon where is she going?" Xi Hui asks her husband.

"She'll just catch up don't worry too much." Xi Hui nodded after hearing Qi Chen's reply and the couple started to walk again towards the main hall.

Once Xiuying got her father's permission she urge Xue'er to go the kitchen so they could eat and afterwards take a walk in the garden while waiting for meeting to start, She simply don't want to mingle with her cousins and their families.

Most of the servants are shocked to see their third young miss enter the kitchen and she just brush off their objections by saying she just want to check the dishes that'll be serve in the banquet and meeting. She asked also ask one of the cooks for a few ingredients to make simple sesame balls with red bean paste filling. Xue is puzzled how Xiuying knows how to make it but her young miss just told her that she remember how when she observed how the people in the market make it when they were strolling in the market.

"Young miss why are preparing for this? If you are hungry we can just order the servants to make it for you."

"We'll need it later Xue'er, it'll be our props." I grin at her and winked causing her and male servants that are observing us to blush.

"Please don't jest at this servant young miss."

I chuckled at her and finally wrap the finished sesame balls in a container and signalled her to carry it and went outside of the kitchen. As we walked back to the main hall I get some sesame balls and gave some to Xue while I start eating my share.

While we pass by the garden's pavilion I stopped and see that the two figures are still there, the young man wears a dark purple hanfu while the lady he is with wears a light pink attire invokes admiration and emphasizes her beautiful face.

"Xue'er who are they?" I turned to Xue'er who is behind me and noticed hatred in her eyes. I still decided to ask though her expression already confirms the identify of the couple.

"To answer young miss they're the eldest young master of Long clan and second young miss."

I gestured her for us to hide in the nearest large tree in the pavilion since the love birds are facing the man-made pond they didn't noticed us.

"Fan'er you don't have to wait and suffer anymore, now that trash cousin of yours haven't recovered we can now declare our relationship and be engage. I've let you wait too long..." Guanting gently hugs the lady he loves from behind. Seeing her ears are bright red showing her shyness at their intimate contact he chuckles.

"Guanting I should apologize to her and third uncle, Ying'er is your betrothed. I...I know you want us to be together but you shouldn't have tried to kill her, she is still after all my cousin and I adore her since we were small..." her voice trembled with sadness.

"We didn't have a choice Fan'er it is her fault for coveting someone who don't love her." Guanting firmly state like it was a truth. He forgot that it was their great grandfathers who engaged him and Xiuying even before they were born.

Eating enough of the dog food thrown at them, Xiuying suddenly rubs her eyes, bends down and rubs some dirt to the knee part and hem of her dress. Then she took some dew drops from the leaves and place it near her eyes.

Xue was shock to what her young miss is doing. After her young miss finished rubbing more dirt on her formerly clean light blue hanfu, she look like a lady who cried and even dropped on the dirt. Xiuying winked at her and started to run, Xue'er didn't have any chance to ask what her miss is planning to do as Xiuying is already far away from her and running fast towards the main hall.
