Leila: "Wait, you-!"

The girl with the red hair and yellow eyes was about to jump in into the crumbling hollow, but the little girl with a huge hammer in her hand jumped towards her to hold her down.

Leila: "What do you think you're doing?! What were you going to do by jumping there as well??"

Leila, who could only see an ordinary Human in the girl, forced Purin down, who in return forces her way to get out of Leila's grasp to save her master.

But to no use. Though it was too late as the hole had already closed in from the crumbling, the miners also helped holding her down to prevent her from pursuing a dangerous stunt.

Leila: "Don't add more trouble to what's already in our hands!"

Purin: "Milady!! Scoundrel…!! How dare thee hinder Purin?! Art thou not worried about thine companion?!"

Purin grabbed Leila's arm so tight, it is almost as if she is trying to rip the little girl's arm off her body. In actuality, Purin's fingernails have already bore a wound on Leila's skin as a result of her monstrous grip.

Leila: "I AM!! BUT THERE'S NO MEANING IN ADDING MORE TO THE VICTIMS!!"

Purin: "…!! Th-That is…"

Hearing Leila's loud and grief filled voice, purin was struck silent. Carefully looking at Leila's face, tears have begun to form at the corner of her eyes. Realizing that she herself is trying to contain her own emotion, Purin's senses was f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y brought back to her.

Leila stifled her tears with a sniffle and stood up after judging Purin's action.

Leila: "Everyone, forget about the Merata Ore for now. We'll plan our way to rescue those three."

She quickly wiped away the tears forming in her eyes as she instructed the miners who are also dumbstruck by the sudden turn of events.

Everyone nodded and placed all their tools on the ground to listen.

Purin: "… If something happened…"

Purin, on the other hand, still could not contain her distress, and tried to voice them. But after seeing Leila's pained expression as she instructs the men to prepare, she could only swallow the following words in trepidation.

Leila: "Fina… Wait for me. I promised your mother that I'll protect you."

Purin: "…"

There, Purin came to understand. How precious that girl, who fell with her mistress and Ciel, is to Leila. How she is filled with unease now that she knows that the girl might be in grave danger.

Just like how she sees her Mistress.

Now what to do?

I've erected a wall made of soil for the time being. I've also used Barrier to cover the rest of the open space. Now, the ants are trying to break through that barrier.

The only thing behind us is the lake, so I think we're safe for now.

I look at Fleur, she's still breathing raggedly and is flushed red as a tomato. But this time, it's not about her horniness that's worrying me. It's her HG that is gradually decreasing second by seconds. There's no pain in her expression or something of the sort that I feel through the Link, but I can't be too sure right now.

And… that gibberish skill…

It's taking form now, but… As much as possible, I don't want to leave Fleur's condition as it is. The sooner I can make her at ease, the better. I can't let me curiosity win the better of me here.

Aside from her Magical Attack and Defense and CG, she's already tad stronger than a regular person. I also took a slight peek at the status of the miners earlier, and yet… She's still stronger than them for a level 11.

Black blood dripped from the struggling ants as they try to get away from the spikes that punctured them from all direction. Seconds after, the struggling stopped and they body went limp lifelessly and died.

Fina: "… Amazing… Was that Grudan Magic? But… I haven't heard of such a skill… Not to mention, there's no magic circle…"

Ciel: "It's a secret du fabrication."

Fina: "… Cheapskate! Muu! Hmph! I won't lose to something like that! Wisona Magic: Arrow!"

Per Fina's chant of her Cause… Wait, she didn't chant her Causa?

With her staff pointed towards the enemies, a huge green magic circle appeared at the end of the staff, followed by numerous forming gales of wind with the appearance of arrows.

Hey, hey… Those are already the size of full grown trees…

They fire off the instant they took their form and hit every ants with great precision, leaving the ants without any choice but to receive the attack. The arrows pierced their heads, releasing metallic sounds.

Now, all the ants that was hit lie lifeless on the ground, dripping with their own blood.

Ciel: "Hoh… Way to go."

Fina: "Hyaha~ Told you so~! Praise me more! Hyahaha~"

… Where did the girl who was out of her wits just earlier go…?

Seriously. I think she just doesn't have enough experience in practical combat. She's strong enough to deal with these guys.

Ciel: "Still, the ants are not your only enemies, but also carelessness."

*slash!"

I used Gale Slash, which I activated with a whip of my hand, towards the incoming ant behind her. The gale cut the ant in half and fell down the lake.

Fina: "Wah!"

Why do that whipping gesture when I can just use my mind to activate Psyche? Psshh. Because I look cool that way, silly.

Hmmm… I guess, they're trying to use every way they can to finish us. They even went to swim in the lake and jump at us for an ambush. They may have low Intelligence Level, but they really can think when they have numbers.

Once again, I used Terra spike to skewer the ones that were swimming at the lake. How can these guys swim under this freezing lake? I touched it earlier and felt like it could turn to ice any moment.

Also, how hungry are these ants??

Fina: "Th-Thanks… I didn't notice that… Phew."

Ciel: "Carelessness can be our greatest threat. Don't forget that."

Or so I always see in a book. Mufu.

And, that's how I almost died from Purin, after all. I can't let the same thing happen ever again.

Fina: "Muu… You're sounding a lot like Leila, Ciel…"

Grumbling, she looked at me with narrowed eyes.

Oh yeah. She said something like that when I was checking up on them, huh?

Ciel: "Anyways, let's do this. Use Harmony Enhancement."

Fina: "Like. I. said…!! How do you-…"

Ciel: "Here they come."

Fina: "Muuuuuu!!!"

I activate Amplify to strengthen my Physical Attack, since I don't have the time to infuse Crysaztel every time I use Psyche. This way, I can reach the almost same effect whenever I infuse Crysaztel to my Psyche attacks.

Oh right, we can't forget the Barrier for Fleur. By the way, I can't use Barrier for Fina, since she won't be able to attack from the inside. It uses a repelling force to create a barrier, after all. It's two way. If I don't make it that way, then one problem is that the person inside won't be able to breathe.

After the barrier, I followed Leg Strength Enhancement for faster mobility.

Fina: "Harmony Enhancement!"

Ohh… So this is Harmony Enhancement… I took my liberty to check on her Arcana Skills earlier for a little bit. I can't help it, I should know everything that we can use, after all.

And so, I found her Arcana Skills to be fit for support.

For example this Harmony Enhancement, it enhances all status by 50% and lasts for about 30 minutes. Though the only drawback is that it can only be used 3 times a day.

These Arcana Skills really are overpowered, yet they certainly have their own downsides.

Even Amplify. After using Amplify for an hour, which is its time limit, I'd get sluggish for three hours. I experimented with it before for a few times and that was the result I got.

Of course, I also won't stop with that.

Enchanted Hide.

Leg Strength Enhancement.

Scale Armor.

Enhanced Senses.

Then lastly, Divine Soul.

Ciel: "Fuu…"

Alright. I'm ready.

Looking at myself objectively, bluish sparks have now begun flying around my body. Just a bit more and I'll be entering Super Saiya-
