Rebirth: A Woman With Frozen Heart

Ming Yue saw the woman walked out of the store with Bai Hu on the woman's shoulder, her eyes widened in surprised. "Bai Hu! What are you doing?!"

Ming Yue reached for his body and took him into her embrace while apologizing to the woman. "I am sorry, My cat is rude to you."

The woman waved her hands frantically, "It's okay! I don't mind! Really! It's an honor in fact!"

"An honor?" Ming Yue tilted her head, clearly puzzled. Bai Hu threw a sharp look at the woman.

The woman stiffened and coughed, "I mean, An honorable customer's cat. Hahaha.." The woman laughed awkwardly. Ming Yue couldn't help but feeling that the woman in front of her was quite weird.

As they walked together, the woman introduced herself. "My name is Shao Fei, you can call me Aunt Fei. What is your name your girl?"

"My name is Ming Yue and this is my cat Bai Hu. P.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you Aunt Fei." Ming Yue said politely.

"Mine as well. Ah, did your parents know about you going up to the mountain? It's quite dangerous there after all." Shao Fei asked.

Even though she knew that this girl Ming Yue definitely didn't get those herbs and ginsengs from the mountain, since she said she got them from there, Shao Fei decided to play along. Personally she was also curious about this young girl, having cultivated for more than three hundred years, she also heard stories and legends.

Lord Bai Hu called this young girl his master, however the supreme lord of west heavenly palace wouldn't take just anyone as his master. In one of the legends she had read, there used to be a special person who became the Master of four supreme lords of heavenly palace. Only that person could rule over the four heavenly beasts.

That special person was the most beautiful among the goddesses in heaven, she was also the most favorite person of heavenly emperor. Her beauty was so enchanting that once people took a look, they would not be able to look away. The rumor of her beauty even spread to mortal realm and demon realm. Her name was..

"I am an orphan." Ming Yue's words pulled Shao Fei out of her reverie.

"Orphan? Ah! Are you the adopted daughter of Qing Family?" Shao Fei asked, "I have heard about you."

"Oh? Is it a bad or a good one?" Ming Yue asked indifferently.

Paying attention to Ming Yue's indifferent expression, Shao Fei answered "I only heard about how you are abandoned and got picked up by Mrs. Qing."

"Aaah.. I see. That one, huh?" Ming Yue said, clearly not surprised of what she heard.

It was a fact after all. In the past, she tried hard to search for her mother but only to be hurt and rejected once again. This time, Ming Yue wouldn't search for her because it was useless.

"That.. I am sorry.." Shao Fei gave Ming Yue a nervous look. It was because Lord Bai Hu kept giving her a sharp look.

'I should have paid attention to what I said!!' Shao Fei screamed inwardly, she really wanted to slap her own mouth.

"For what Aunty?" Ming Yue frowned in confusion.

"Well.. that.. I-If.. I offended you." Shao Fei said with an awkward smile and cried inwardly, 'Please don't make Lord Bai Hu rip me to pieces!'

Ming Yue chuckled softly and gave Shao Fei a reassuring smile, "It's okay. I am not offended, it's news that I used to hear many times after all."

"Hahaha.. I- I see.." Shao Fei gave a nervous reply, 'Phew.. Safe..' She added inwardly.

They arrived at the bank and went to one of the counter to open a bank account. After a series of explanation, Ming Yue paid the fee with the little money she had and Shao Fei transferred 21 millions into her account right away. Ming Yue also applied for credit card right away since she needed it for buying things. She also draw some money just for her daily needs.

"Thank you for your help, Aunt Fei." Ming Yue said gratefully.

"No need, I was just accompanying you after all. You did most of the part yourself." Shao Fei smiled, she really liked this girl. She was polite and knew how treat her elders right. More over she had this certain charm that made people either loved or hated her.

'Guess this could be expected since she was HER, huh? Ai.. looks like the world would soon turn into chaos once again..' Shao Fei mused, because if Ming Yue was HER then based on a legend Shao Fei had heard, THAT MAN would be in mortal realm as well. Both of them were famous after all.

"Well then Aunty Fei, I shall get going now." Ming Yue's voice once again pulled Shao Fei out of her reverie.

Shao Fei nodded, "If you have more herbs and ginsengs, you can sell it to me." she said.

"Of course, goodbye Aunty Fei." Ming Yue left after saying goodbye.

Shao Fei stares at Ming Yue's back, her eyes filled with worry. "The future of that girl will be very hard.." she muttered softly as she lifted her head to look at the sky.

"Will there be another war?" Shao Fei asked in worry. She knew the war between gods and demons happened thousand years ago, which resulted HER to be in mortal realm.

Shao Fei didn't knew what was really happening back then, there were many stories regarding HER in demon realm. Some said SHE made a grave sin, some said SHE was betrayed and caught in a trap, some said SHE fell in love with THAT MAN and was punished for it. However, how could SHE fell in love? SHE was famous for having a frozen heart after all.

'Hmm.. looks like I need to investigate this matter thoroughly.' Shao Fei mused. 'If there will be a war, then the fox clan needs to prepare for it.'

After all.. Because of THAT MAN.. the demons had tasted a bitter defeat.. At least that was what she was told..
