Rebirth: A Woman With Frozen Heart

In Heaven Realm, Garden Of Eternity..

"Achoo!" A Man that looked like in his early thirties sneezed. He had ethereal handsome face, with gentle manner in his every conduct. His long black hair that reached to the center of his back was silky, moving softly along with the man's every movement. He wore white ancient clothes that glittered every time he moved.

"Oh? It's rare to see you sneeze, Tian Huang" said another man who sat across the young man. He looked like in his forties, with black hair that half of the upper hair tied to small bun while the lower half was free, reaching to his shoulder. The man looked majestic and scary with his black beard and sharp brows, especially because his ancient attire was black from head to toe.

Between both men, there was a white jade table with Go chess, on top of it. Both of them looked contrast with their attires, indicating they were totally different kind of people.

Tian Huang chuckled gently, "I believe there are people who talks bad about me." he said with helpless smile. "Thank you for caring, King Yama."

King Yama snorted coldly, "Who cares about you?" he took a black go piece and placed it on the board. There was silence between the two before King Yama spoke, "..The plan seems to move along smoothly."

"I really hope so." Tian Huang spread the fan in his hand and started moving it softly, a gentle smile was on his face. "It's hard to dethrone a goddess and replace it with someone new after all."

"I can't believe you do this in a roundabout way, if it was me, I already destroyed her soul and put it in everlasting hell." King Yama said, annoyance could be heard in his tone.

"As Heavenly Emperor, I need proofs to dethrone a goddess. That one was finally consumed by her hatred and jealousy to put 'The Curse Chain Of Abyss' on my cute little Chang'e." Tian Huang said, his gentle eyes turned cold before it was replace by a sad one. "It took thousand years though.. I hope my cute little Chang'e isn't angry with me." Tiang Huang took a white piece go and placed it on the board.

"I bet she will hit your face for couple of times~" King Yama said and laughed hard as he imagined the pesky little girl did that to the young man's handsome face.

Tian Huang shook his head, looking so helpless "I am glad the prospect makes you happy." He replied in gentle tone,

"Even me, as heavenly emperor, still can't believe up till now that you, King Yama, would agreed so easily to follow my plan."

Tian Huang slapped the fan close before glancing at the older man playfully, "It seems you really like my cute little Chang'e."

"Humph! Who likes that pesky little moon!" King Yama looked away in annoyance, c.a.r.e.s.sing his beard but in his mind, a scene was played.

In Underworld..

"Uncle Yama~ Chang'e is here!" A beautiful young woman wearing silver colored ancient clothes barged into his office.

King Yama who was in the middle of work, adjusting the list of the dead frowned and shouted at Chang'e "Pesky little moon! why are you in underworld again?! Don't you have something better to do?!"

The death gods were all wearing straight face, they already got used to the Moon Goddess barged into Underworld as if it was her playground and bothered King Yama. They also knew that even though King Yama said harsh words to Moon Goddess, the man doted on her like a father doted on his daughter.

"Hehehe~ I got bored in heaven realm and come to play~" Chang'e answered and moved to behind King Yama and massaged his shoulders,

"Of course Chang'e is also here to accompany Uncle Yama to play chess~"

"Humph! Only to play chess?" King Yama didn't reject Chang'e massaging his shoulders.

Chang'e smirked mischievously and took a jar of wine from her space, she placed it on Uncle Yama's desk. "I had brewed a new wine! It's soooo delicious! Uncle Yama is the first one to try~"

"Oh? So I am going to taste a wine that Tian Huang hasn't before?" King Yama asked then bent his body slightly backward as he laughed hard.

"Good! Let's taste it now!" King Yama stood and patted Chang'e head gently despite his harsh and scary looking face. However that face softened under Chang'e bright and sweet smile.

'Humph.. Pesky little moon, if you don't visit me again after all this finished.. I will punish you.' King Yama mused inwardly.

Tian Huang watched how King Yama's expression softened and a gentle knowing smile appeared on His handsome face. He softly sighed and mused inwardly.

'Chang'e ah.. Chang'e ah.. you don't know how we miss you so much..'

'Forgive this big brother for making you suffer.. but this is the only way..'

'Bai Hu, Qing Long, Zhu Que and Xian Wu.. I know you all hate me but please.. protect Chang'e..'

'Because the trials she has to overcome in the future.. will be many..'

Meanwhile in another place in D city..

Long Zhi Qiang woke up with sweats covered his body. He stared at the ceiling of the hotel room he was in, recalling the dream he had. Zhong Kui and Chang'e.. Zhi Qiang wondered why he had such dream and why the dream felt so nostalgic. Could it be.. his past life..?

In the past, Zhi Qiang would treat such dream as a mere dream but now that he was reincarnated, Zhi Qiang couldn't helpt but think that way. Otherwise why would he feel nostalgic to the scene he saw in that dream. Even his heart ached seeing how that Chang'e woman suffered under that cursed chain and when she disappeared, Zhi Qiang knew how Zhong Kui felt.

Despair..

Loneliness..

Sorrow..

Wrath..

All of it pushed Zhong Kui into madness.. It showed how deep his love to Chang'e and Zhi Qiang understood because that was how deep his love to Ming Yue. Both of them couldn't live in a world where their beloved didn't exist.
