I couldn't help but curse at the level difference between me and the Lizardman Archer.

a whopping 70 levels difference, you have to know that with each level up, a living being gains 10 status points, which means the lizardman's total stats were at least above 700.

A one-hit is all it will take for this guy to kill me.

The Lizardman surprised by the unexpected outcome, seemed to be in a daze, I would too if a level 1 weakling dodged my arrow.

I took my chance, and started sprinting towards him, seemingly awakened by my movement's, the Lizardman pulled another arrow from its back and started loading his bow, while aiming at me.

this guy's DEX seemed pretty low, I could tell from its awkward and slow movements, Lizardmen weren't a dexterous race in the first place, and for an archer, his DEX decided whether he could live or die.

I roughly made up a plan in my head, while shortening the distance between us, I was betting it all on one attack.

the moment the Lizardman finished his preparation and was taking aim at me, I readied something that even regression back can't take away from me, my killing intent.

Locking eyes with the Lizardman, my killing intent invaded his very soul, giving birth to fear inside the heart of the walking lizard, it flinched and ended up shooting its arrow in the wrong direction.

This was my chance, my body tensed up, even more, I squeezed every nonce of strength and speed from my muscle's and dashed towards it.

in 1 second, I was already standing before the Lizard, my knife heading towards the spot under its jaw, that was its weak spot.

this is it if it works, he dies, if it doesn't, I die.

this moment literally decided my future.

I felt the knife in my hand, meet some sort of resistance, so I applied even more strength, my hands' skin peeled off, but it didn't matter to me anymore.

finally, the knife went in, but I didn't stop, I took it out, and stabbed it again in the same exact spot, over and over again.

by that time the Lizardman was already laying on the ground, weakly slashing at me with his claws, but I didn't care, I ignored the pain and kept stabbing.

I won't fall here, for I had favors to repay.

before long, my momentum died, and so did the Lizardman.

my body was screaming with pain, but I was feeling ecstatic.

I was happy, I've achieved something I've never done before.

I couldn't help but drop my jaw at the sudden change in my status, especially the huge spike in my strength, agility, and constitution.

while it is quite easy to raise your stats using points, it was way harder to do so without them.

I know of a guy who went through an extreme training regime, for 5 months, his rewards were 30 stat points, and it was well worth it.

then my focus went straight into my new title
