Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

The same evening.

The welcome party everyone looked forward to finally came. Many people who were close relatives of Gu family were invited. The hall was decorated very well, the tables were served different types of delicacies and beverages.

Rich looking people were conversing with each other as some were greeting old man Gu and the other family members. Old man Gu's face was filled with a happy smile with even his eyes were squinted like a crescent moon. Everyone could see that this party was very important and a happy occasion for the Gu family so they were very curious about who it was for.

The Gu family had discussed among themselves about saying that Xi Xiao Yue was actually the long lost daughter of Gu Xi Ming as Ji Hui Yi was pregnant before but had a still birth which made her not able to become pregnant again.

Only very close people new the truth so they made it as an excuse to not let anyone look down upon Xi Xiao Yue. Xi Xiao Yue felt a warm current in her heart when she knew about how they were concerned about her being bullied by people if they said that she was only adopted. Her love for this family grew more.

After all the guests have arrived, Gu Xi Ming went to the stage at the front and gathered others attention as the hall became silent. In front of the curious gaze of the audience, Gu Xi Ming then started to speak. "Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we are holding this welcome party for my long lost daughter who was taken away by my enemies just after her birth. We only invited relatives because we don't want to make our enemies aware of the news as we don't want any harm to fall on our dearest daughter. So ladies and gentlemen, meet our dearest daughter, the apple of our eyes, Gu Xiao Yue!"

A round of applause came as Xi Xiao Yue or now Gu Xiao Yue came in with her two brothers on both her sides, with their hands around hers. She was wearing a white and black princess gown with her hair done in a princess hairstyle. Her already beautiful figure looked more beautiful as if a real princess from a fantasy world with her two knights beside her. Everyone was mesmerised by her beauty and the beautiful scene of two handsome knights protecting their princess.

"Wow, Gu family really has good genes! They are all so beautiful!" said someone in the crowd.

"Kyaa! The two sons of Gu family are really so handsome!" said a girl.

"Look how they care so much about their sister. Aww, how I wish I was the one there with them!" said someone enviously as she looked at the fabulous trio.

The Gu family members nodded to themselves as they smiled from ear to ear after hearing them praising their little girl. They were very proud to have her as their family member." Our Xiao Yue is really so beautiful ah! I want to hug her tightly!" said Gu Xi Jian as if wanting to run to Gu Xiao Yue right there to hug her. "You can't do that to my daughter. Only I can." said Gu Xi Ming flatly as he stared at the little figure with a small smile tug on his lips.

"How can you be so mean, brother? I also love my niece! No, I want her as my daughter! I will adopt her as my own daughter!" said Gu Xi Jian as him throwing a tantrum but still looked very gentlemanly. How can there be such a man who acts like a kid but still looks so handsome ah?

" No! She is only my daughter! Don't you ever dream about it! " for the first time they saw Gu Xi Ming being jealous and so protective about someone as he didn't even show it to his own son. It was really an eye opener for the Gu family that their eldest master could also act as such. Their wives and grandpa Gu laughed at their bickering as Gu Xiao Yue and the two brothers reached to their side.

Gu Xi Ming wrapped his arm around her shoulder as he introduced her to everyone and then opened a champagne and filled the mountain of glasses. The guests came around and congratulated Gu Xi Ming and grandpa Gu about the good news and spoke with Gu Xiao Yue about random stuffs and handed some red packets.

Gu Xiao Yue was already used to parties and dealing with people so she was very calm and elegant in her every action as she spoke to everyone with a smile. Everyone who saw that were shocked and impressed by her good manners even though she lived in a poor family till now.

The party went on till 10pm and Gu Xiao Yue had already went back to her room half way from the party with the excuse of feeling tired. She was feeling very happy about the experience she felt these days after becoming Xi Xiao Yue. She got a supernatural ability, made herself money from gambling and found a new loving family. She really felt like the gods were compensating for the sufferings she bore in her previous life.

And about the Xi family? Well, not much drama was done as they were forced to sign on the doc.u.ments for severing the ties between them and Xi Xiao Yue by the men Old man Gu sent.

Although Xi Ling wanted to ask who they were and wanted to make a fuss about not doing what they said to do but after a man in black took out a gun and pointed on his forehead he immediately complied to sign the doc.u.ments while trembling so much but still managed to sign properly. Mu Yan and her daughters were also scared stiff that they only stood at the side quiet and trembling as they didn't know which big figure they had offended.

Xi Ling was even beaten up by the men after he finished signing and left after their work was done. Old man Gu was holding a grudge on Xi family for everything they have done to Xi Xiao Yue so he wanted to vent out his anger on Xi Ling.

He even threatened the factory owner where Xi Ling worked to fire him which made him an unemployed, useless man. He was still in a hospital when he got a call from his boss that he was fired from his job which made him feel as if the world was falling apart. He wanted to ask why he was getting fired but the other side immediately cut off the call and left his mouth hanging with his words stuck in his throat.

He didn't know that it was all related to Xi Xiao Yue as he didn't read the doc.u.ments out of fear and so he missed out the real reason for his miserable end. Well, he didn't really have an end so early as he had his friend to get him a job. The friend then promised to help him find one which let him heave a sigh of relief. He could only recuperate in the hospital for a week before he could work so he just hid his anger, fear and discontentment in himself.

Gu Xiao Yue wasn't aware of these things as old man Gu only said that he had dealt with the matters with Xi family, leaving the details about the other matters. Even if she knew about it, she wouldn't care less about the Xi family and would even gloat on their misery.

The school was going to start from the next Monday. She was looking forward to it as she wanted to enjoy the feeling of being a high schooler which she couldn't do so before.

She looked at her cell phone as she unlocked the lock on it and opened the news feed. There was the news about many new models, new brands of fashion, idols and stuffs. She then saw an artwork of someone called 'LoverOfArtHei' it was an art of a very beautiful realistically colourful landscape with a cliff with waterfalls and greenery with the sun shining in the sky and a beautiful girl in traditional chinese costume playing a flute.

She always liked arts and music very much but couldn't continue working on them even though she was very good at both of them before. She always felt a deep emotion towards arts and music and so after seeing this beautiful artwork, she had her love for it rekindled.

Since she had a new identity, a new life without any burdens on her,she wanted to do anything she wanted to and wouldn't do anything she didn't want to. She wanted to draw and share her artworks, wanted to play the musical instruments as she sang along its tune.

She then decided to buy the drawing materials and all types of musical instruments. Piano and Gu zheng were her favourite two musical instruments of all. She loved the sound they made and felt deep emotions whenever she played them. She could pour out her stress, sadness, anger everything in the song as she played the instrument.

Xiao Yue was registered in the book of the family members of Gu family and thus she got another surname of Gu to her name. She spent her remaining holidays with the Gu family as her parents went back to jian City to take care of their works on saturday by the morning flight.

These days, they have gotten to know Gu Xiao Yue much better and became more fond of her as they were very reluctant to leave her side but they had work to do so they were sent back by Gu Xiao Yue and the two brothers at the airport. They hugged her and the brothers as they told them to take care of their health and study hard. They(Gu Xiao Yue and brothers) then left from the airport after sending them(Parents) back.

They decided to go to a restaurant to have a lunch as they felt hungry and also called grandpa Gu to join them for a meal. They went to an expensive looking French restaurant and went to a private room. They ordered whatever they wanted to eat and talked with each other about many things as the food was served by the waiter. They then ate the food happily and went home.

After the days went by in peace and joy, the long awaited school opening came.
