Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

The calm handsome man said to the excited man beside him in a low voice. "Xi Xue, investigate her identity and background. Don't miss out any detail."

"Huh? You want me to investigate her? You couldn't be interested in this little girl, right?" Xuan Xi Xue, who had a striking blonde hair and a tall fit body with a very handsome facial structure asked in slight horror as if he had seen a ghost.

The calm and cold man who looked like a god descended from the heaven looked at Xuan Xi Xue with his sharp grey eyes, giving a silent threat. The man had short black hair with side bangs at the left. He was 6ft tall with well trained body that didn't look too muscular. Had broad c.h.e.s.t with a narrow waist as his legs muscles were bulging out of his black pants as if packed with strong strength. He looked very handsome in a black suit.

Looking at the sharp eyes of the man, Xuan Xi Xue got chills as he then said hurriedly.

"I..I was only asking! I'll investigate her thoroughly! But Ah Wei, why do you want to investigate her. I mean, she is indeed very amazing and interesting but... I have never seen you being interested of any woman not to say a young girl other than secretly admiring that goddess. Even that was only admiration and she is now...gone too."

He couldn't say the word 'dead' as he couldn't make himself to do so. He and Bai Long Wei both weren't from a great family. They were brought up in an orphanage. His best friend, Bai Long Wei wasn't so cold like in the present as he used to be cheerful, smart and cute before being sent into the orphanage.

Bai Long Wei was the only son of one of the big families in the capital, Bai family. The Bai family had internal strifes and Bai Long Wei lost his parents in just the age of 4. He was an intelligent kid so he still understood such things.

He was saved by his father's most trusted butler Guang shao and was sent to the small orphanage in the Jingning city which was faraway from the capital as he lost his life on the way.

Bai Long Wei was accepted by father Huo from the orphanage and he met him there. Bai Long Wei, who used to be cheerful and cute had lost his smile since then. He always had a quiet and cold expression on his face as he distanced himself from other kids.

He was often bullied by some kids there who thought he was annoying then he(XXX) saved him. He was still weak and small back then, curling up from the beatings but didn't utter any groan in pain. Just enduring. He used to think 'Is he really a kid?' before when he saw him.

He had also m.a.t.u.r.ed early because of being an orphan. He was the same age as Bai Long Wei and so he became his friend after a long time.

They became very close friends as he got to understand more about Bai Long Wei. When they became 8 years old, a subordinate who survived from the disaster in the Bai family came to take Bai Long Wei away as he wept and knelt while apologising Bai Long Wei for not being able to protect the family nor look after him before.

Bai Long Wei knew the man, Bai shen, a very loyal bodyguard who was raised by his father as he was an orphan. He forgave him and told him to take him(XXX) along with him too.

Their journey finally started since then as they hid in a secret island of Bai Long Wei's father which no one other than his most trusted men knew about. They studied there, trained, learnt anything they could.

Bai Long Wei became more serious and cold as he grew up. He became very proficient in martial arts as he had to deal with assassins sent by those traitorous relatives, his own father's blood related little brother. He started his own business as he even stepped on the dark side of the world as he paved his road in the under world.

He killed many as his hands shed blood of his enemies. He(XXX) followed alongside him as he also did his best to be of help to his best friend, his brother, his saviour as he learnt about technologies as he became a great programmer, a top hacker and a secret agent for Bai Long Wei who had become the youngest new boss in the underworld with many businesses, loyal subordinates and very talented brothers in arm in the age of 18.

Bai Long Wei took revenge on the murderers who killed his family as he tortured them till they dropped dead. He took over the Bai family again as he announced his presence to the world about his existence.

The news about it shook the whole world with just this much news as he still hadn't made his other identity of 'Ashura' known to the people as they might even get shocked to death.

Bai Long Wei had many enemies who wanted him dead but his power grew more and more which made them dare not to even talk bad about him behind the back. He made the Bai family from one of the big family in the capital to the top super family in just 2 years after that.

All this time, he had someone whom both of them admired, the goddess who although was also from a big family and lived better for 15 years but still singlehandedly shook the business world as she was only one step away from obtaining the business empire as she made her own name reknown all over the world but suddenly died without any clues.

She was only 21 when she died while they were 23. She died just a month and half ago. Like a firefly who shone so brightly like the moon and sun in the sky but short lived as she left the world, only leaving more waves in the sea as all mourned her death.

"It's nothing. You don't have to mind that. Just do what I say." The man was still calm and cold as he said that but his voice hid a hint of sadness in it when he thought about the only woman he had admired.

He never had any thought of romance when he said he admired her. He truly admired her personality, her courage and her abilities. She was the great genius, a peerless beauty who stood like a goddess above all. No man could match her, not even him.

He was only a newly made boss who still hadn't obtained the Bai family back to him as he walked a dangerous path. They were like parallel lines, although close but never to meet. He distanced himself from her news and whereabouts as he immersed himself in stabilising his power. But then he suddenly heard about the news of her death. He was struck with deep sorrow. But he couldn't do anything. He came to Ning city for business purpose as he busied himself to not think about her again but then he saw the little girl who was very cold and m.a.t.u.r.e for her young age, fighting 5 bigger men and beating them up.

Her cold and calm expression, her imposing aura and the dominance of a queen was oozing out of her body that he thought he was seeing her again. He then suddenly became interested in her. Then he got the news that she had great talent in raw stone gambling and then met her again with a new surprise.

He didn't know what he was feeling but he knew that he was curious about this girl who gave him a familiar feeling. But he was sure he had never met her before so couldn't help but get intrigued more and more. He will see and find out what he was feeling himself as he will observe her from now on.

"Achoo! Achoo! H-huh? Did I catch a cold? But it's not even winter and it's warm today. Is someone badmouthing me behind my back?" Gu Xiao Yue, who was getting on the car sneezed and mumbled to herself as she had a confused look.

Her work was done here so she will let the driver to take the raw stones and antique to her room in the mansion as she will meet with Feng Jiao. It was already 4:38 pm. She had already told her grandpa that she will be back home late at night so she didn't have anything to worry about.

She called Feng Jiao as she asked her where to meet. When she got the address, she told the driver to go to the address.
