Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

Time flew by in peace for Gu Xiao Yue as weekend came again.

Gu Xiao Yue had an appointment with Long Jin Yu today so she woke up early, exercised, took a bath and ate her breakfast with others. She told grandpa Gu about her plans and her appointment today which immediately gained grandpa Gu's support.

She asked if he could help her in the doc.u.ments and procedures for the transfer and he told her to rest assured. As the old master of a super family, how can he not pull any strings for such trivial matters?

Gu Xiao Yue was happy to get his approval and so she ate her breakfast happily.

She also got to know that her mother, Ji Hui Yi and aunt Xia Rui were coming to Ning city today with her two cousin sisters from Xia Rui's family. She didn't know who those two were but she just hoped they would be as nice as her family members. Only closest family knew about her being adopted and it wasn't told to Xia Rui's maternal family as they weren't liked much by grandpa Gu.

Gu Shao Yan and Gu Qin Zhen were going to pick them up at the airport so they said they would drop her to her destination and go to airport after. She agreed to it.

She dressed up into a casual but stylish white shirt and a knee-length black skirt and black sandals with heel. She had her hair let down as her bangs were let down perfectly on her fair face. She looked a bit more m.a.t.u.r.e in it.

The Gu brothers were dressed up too as they then got in the car and the driver drove away from the mansion.

It was 10 am and she had appointment for 11 am in the cafe near the industry and commerce bureau to sign some contracts and stuff before going for the procedures.

She got off the car outside the cafe and bid goodbye to her brothers as they drove away. She then went inside to pick a seat in a corner. She was still early so she first ordered a coffee and then waited for Long Jin Yu.

As she sipped at her coffee, she finally saw Long Jin Yu entering the cafe with a gray suitcase in hand. He was wearing a blue suit and pant with a white inner shirt. He didn't have the stressed look now like when they talked about the deal before. He looked more cheerful and hopeful now as his handsome face was radiated.

He saw Gu Xiao Yue sitting on a seat at the corner and went towards her as he then greeted.

"Xiao Yue, you are already here? Sorry to make you wait." He said that as he put the gray suitcase at the empty chair besides him and sat down on the chair across Gu Xiao Yue when she nodded at him.

"You don't have to be sorry, uncle Long. I didn't have to wait long as I only came just now. Would you like to get a coffee?" Gu Xiao Yue said that as she smiled at him.

"Oh sure. I have brought the contract papers and other doc.u.ments for the deal and are you going to change the company name too?" Long Jin Yu said that as he opened the suitcase.

Gu Xiao Yue sipped at her coffee and replied calmly.

"Yes, I will be changing the name too. How about the old employees? How many are left behind now?" She said that as she ordered a coffee for Long Jin Yu.

"There are those who had followed me since I opened my company from the lowest and are very loyal and experienced. About 12 of them are willing to stay while others have already resigned. We still need to recruit emplyees after this." Long Jin Yu said that as he showed the contract paper to Gu Xiao Yue to check.

" Here is the contract paper. Please check if anything is not to your liking."

Gu Xiao Yue took the contract paper as she read the content in it. She finished reading it in a minute as she found nothing wrong in it as it was fair for both parties so she immediately signed on it with a sign pen given by Long Jin Yu. She proceeded on checking other doc.u.ments and the account books of the company as they talked about the recruitment, number of employees, salary for the workers and other things.

After an hour had passed, they then finally finished talking and sorting out all the necessary doc.u.ments as they then paid for their coffees and left the cafe.

They then went towards the industry and commerce bureau which was just beside the cafe and went towards the area where transfers of equities are done.

The director of the industry and commerce bureau had already got the call from grandpa Gu and agreed to his 'request' immediately as he waited for Gu Xiao Yue to come.

Gu Xiao Yue then met him as she greeted him and then did the procedures for the transfer and also for the company's name change. She changed the name 'Long Jewellers company' to 'Ling Yue Jewellers company'. After signing some numbers of doc.u.ments, it was finally done after an hour. It was the shortest time for it as it might have taken more time without the support from grandpa Gu.

They then decided to go for a lunch in a nearby restaurant as they were escorted out by the director from the industry and commerce bureau.

They went towards the restaurant and went towards a private room. They ordered whatever they wanted to eat as they then discussed about the future plans for the company.

"Recruit employees who are efficient and polite. We don't need any snobbish types of employees even if they are good at work. They should be disciplined and trained carefully after the recruitment. About the remaining employees, you decide whatever you want other than asking my decisions in important things. You were already the president of a company so you should understand more about it so I will leave it to you."

"And also about the sources, I have some raw stones with jade inside. I am sure that it's all of high quality jade so cut them carefully as you can then make jewelleries from them. Report me if there are any rare ones as I will make other plans with it. The remaining money for your company, you can take it by auctioning some jade."

Long Jin Yu was surprised when he heard her saying she had more raw stones with jades in it and even of high quality! She was really not a simple girl as her talent in raw stones were so excellent. And the way she handled the doc.u.ments and plans for the company, he even thought that she wasn't a young high school girl but an experienced business genius.

He was also touched to gain such trust from her as she even left the management for the company in his hands without any hesitations. He resolved himself to work even harder to make the company grow even more than he could before.

They then talked about other random things as they finished their meal. Long Jin Yu paid for the meal as they then left the restaurant. Gu Xiao Yue said that she will deliver the raw stones through her grandpa's men to the head office of the company. She then took a taxi to go towards the raw stones market as she had to reload more jades after obtaining the company.

She visited every shop in their as she took the high quality jades raw stones while leaving the low quality ones as she didn't cut them there. She got more than 6 raw stones with jade inside in a shop as she then stored them inside the space in an empty place or the restroom. She continued doing that as she also went to the antique market and found some real antiques in some shops in low price.

After the touring in the market, she found 23 raw stones with high and medium quality jade of the size from a fist size to the size of a basketball. She found two antique painting scrolls, a flower vase, three tea cup sets and a glass statue of a qilin which was only bigger than an a.d.u.l.t's fist but it had bright red light around it which means it was of great value.

She had a great harvest in just a day so she was very happy. It was already 5pm now so she then decided to go back home after storing the raw stones and antiques.

She wanted to appraise the value of the antiques in the antique association but then decided to do it next time she came here.

She was already tired from walking here and there in search for jade and antiques so she wanted to go home as she wilm then gave a refreshing bath and a great meal together with her grandpa and brothers.

As she was thinking as such and hopping in her steps as she thought about food, she didn't notice the person in front of him and bumped at him and spilled his coffee on his clothes. She had bumped at him head on so her nose felt sore from the bumping. She immediately got out of her day dream as she held her nose in pain and turned towards the man in front of her and apologised.

"I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention towards my surroundings. Are you hurt?" Well, she wanted to say that she was more hurt but she didn't as she was still the one at fault. The man was facing his back towards her so she didn't see how he looked like. He was tall and had a perfect body which was just how girls liked. Not too muscular nor thin as his well proportioned body looked fit in the black shirt and pant.

The man then turned around when he heard her apology which let Gu Xiao Yue see his face. She was stunned after seeing his face. 'How can there be any face so handsome in this world?!' is what she thought as she dazed at his face. She didn't realise that she was staring at him without saying anything with a dumbfounded face which looked somewhat comical. The man looked at her in silence and found her face expression very funny and cute.

He didn't know why he felt that as he then opened his mouth and said in a low voice which didn't have the usual coldness present.

"Are you alright?" He was also shocked at what he just asked as he didn't mean to say that but just blurted it out. But he didn't want to embarrass himself by taking his own words back so he just stuck with it.

Gu Xiao Yue finally came to reality as she then realised that she had been staring at him so rudely so she felt very hot in her face as she replied to his words.

"I'm fine, thank you. I'm sorry for bumping into you. Oh my! Your coffee even got spilled? I'm sorry for that. Please do tell me how I can compensate you for it." Gu Xiao Yue finally found out that because of her, his coffee was spilled on his shirt.

Seeing her become calm then fl.u.s.tered a little then again calm made the man feel a bit strange as he didn't feel any disgust towards her like to other girls. He even felt that she was adorable. 'Adorable?' he got confused at his own thoughts then replied to her without thinking.

"How will you compensate? How about accompanying me for dinner?"
