Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

The mess was cleared up quickly as the two cousin sisters went to their rooms and locked themselves up without having their dinner as Xia Yi Ling scolded and cursed at her big sister for the whole situation.

Gu Xiao Yue and others stayed as they had their dinner as if nothing happened just now and talked about other things as they enjoyed their food.

Then Gu Xiao Yue escorted Feng Jiao out of the gates as she waved her a goodbye as Feng Jiao got in the car which came to pick her up and drove away from there quickly. Gu Xiao Yue then went to her room as she took a bath and then went to her bed to sleep.

But the Xia sisters weren't able to sleep at all. Especially, Xia Yi Ling who had to bear the punishment even though she stayed at out of the battlefied.

Now that they weren't able to step inside the Gu mansion ever again then how was she supposed to get closer to Gu Qin Zhen? She was very vexed and angry when she thought about Gu Qin Zhen whom she had always had a crush on since small and now that she couldn't even get near him and even was hated by him, she really wanted to kill her big sister for her stupidity and cut her loose tongue which couldn't hold back anything.

Xia Wei Wei was angry and crying as she heard how Xia Yi Ling cursed at her but she couldn't say anything as she was the one at fault and she was also a bit scared of her own younger sister as she couldn't win against her(XYL) in anything.

And now that she had made such a mess, it was sure that her parents would also punish her and neglect her more than ever. Thinking about that made her tremble as she cried till she fell asleep.

Xia Yi Ling also went to sleep but she couldn't as she could only think about not being able to meet Gu Qin Zhen again which made her toss and turn on the bed with only her anger and sadness welling up on her heart.

She really hated Gu Xiao Yue who was the cause of this all. But she knew that she could never win against her so she couldn't do anything at all. She cried till the morning as she stayed up all night.

The next morning.

The two Xia sisters were sent back to Jiang city by morning flight with only a butler to escort them to the airport.

Gu Xiao Yue felt very refreshed when she woke up as she stretched her hands and yawned. She looked out of the window as she looked at the peaceful scenery of the garden, the blue sky with flocks of birds flying and chirping. It was a scenery which was able to sooth anyone's heart.

She then got up the bed and went to freshen up as she then wore her school uniform which was tailored and delivered just now as her other uniform was messed up with the stain. She then did her usual hairdo as she went downstairs.

Everyone except her and Gu Qin Zhen were present as he just came down from his room right after Gu Xiao Yue in his school uniform. He seemed to have slept more than usual today.

Everyone greeted a good morning as they then enjoyed their breakfast which was served by the servants. They talked about many things and asked their wellbeing but didn't even once mention the incident about yesterday as they just talked about happy things.

Gu Xiao Yue knew they did that because they thought she will get hurt and sad if she heard it again but their worries were in vain as she didn't take it to her heart at all. She still felt very happy seeing how everyone cared for her as her mood brightened up even more.

They finished their breakfast as Gu Xiao Yue said goodbye to everyone as she went out of the mansion as she carried her school bag and headed towards the spot where she always met with Feng Jiao.

Coincidentally, she met Xuan Xi Xue and Bai Long Wei on her way in front of a gas station which she had to pass by to go to and meet with Feng Jiao. They also turned and found her coming towards them as Xuan Xi Xue waved at her and Bai Long Wei nodded at her as to greet her. She also greeted them back as she headed towards them.

"Hey. What are you two doing here today?" Gu Xiao Yue asked them in a frank and friendly way as she had already taken them as her friends since before.

"Hey, there. We were just about to go to handle a work but then the fuel went empty so we are here to fill it up. You are about to leave for school?" Xuan Xi Xue answers her cheerfully as he says it all without a flinch in his voice.

"Yeah. I'm about to meet up with my friend and go to school together with her." Gu Xiao Yue smiled as she replied back.

"You go to school on foot?" It was Bai Long Wei who asked her that as he looked at her smiling at Xuan Xi Xue with his calm but sharp eyes. He didn't like it when she targeted that smile on someone else.

Gu Xiao Yue turned towards Bai Long Wei and replied with the smile still on her face.

"Yeah. As I like to keep my physical fitness so me and my friend go to school on foot so as to make up for the loss of exercise."

"Is that so. Then be careful whenever you are on the way to school. Don't run without looking at the way carefully, got it?"

Bai Long Wei said that with some traces of worry and concern in his voice which he himself didn't realise was there as Gu Xiao Yue heard it and felt a bit warm as she didn't think a cold and indifferent man like him would show such concern towards her.

So she smiled a bit more brighter than before at Bai Long Wei and thanked him.

"I'll make sure to be more careful from now on. Thank you for worrying about me, Long Wei!"

Bai Long Wei was a bit dazzled by her smile as he felt happy and bubbly inside but tried to not show it on his face as he denied.

"I'm not worried about you. I'm just telling you what should be said as an acquaintance or it will be bad if you get hurt somehow." Although he tried to deny it but his red ears and slightly flushing cheeks gave him away as Gu Xiao Yue laughed at him knowingly and found him a bit cute and adorable.

'Even a person so cold can be so cute!' she thought as she stopped teasing Bai Long Wei who was now showing a bit grumpy face at her for laughing at him. But the corner of her lips were twitching as she then said.

"Anyway, good luck on your work. I'll be going now as I don't want to make my friend wait for me too long. See you next time we meet again." Gu Xiao Yue said that as she smiled at them.

"Okay, have a great day." Xuan Xi Xue said that as he waved at her and Bai Long Wei said 'Goodbye' as he had a small smile on his face which made Gu Xiao Yue stare at him for a second but then turned her eyes away immediately as to not be rude like before and walked away hurriedly.

"So, how was my plan? Hehe. I told you that we can meet her here. See? She now even speaks friendly and doesn't seem as distant as before. So, Ah Wei. What are you going to reward me with?" Xuan Xi Xue said that after Gu Xiao Yue had walked far away from them as he held his chin up high and had his hands on his waist as he smiled triumphantly.

This time, Bai Long Wei let him have his way as he was in a good mood so he let him have one month vacation from his works.

As Xuan Xi Xue was a genius in technology and hackings,he also worked as an agent for him and did many important jobs in secret and didn't have much time to relax.

So when he heard that he was given a vacation for a month, he wanted to dance happily but restrained himself as they were in the public and just smiled from ear to ear as they got in the car and he hummed a song throughout the journey with a smile on his face.

It was the right thing to do to help his friend and boss get closer to Gu Xiao Yue. He was even more determined to help them as he could then get more days off from his works and enjoy himself! He then formed many plans in his mind as he drove the car with a smile.
