Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

Days passed quickly as it has already been two weeks since the day when Gu Xiao Yue got into a trouble with Xi Mei Mei. It's been very peaceful since then as she wasn't bothered by anyone and she enjoyed her peaceful time at school with Feng Jiao.

Her mother, Ji Hui Yi and her aunt, Xia Rui had already returned to Jiang City a week ago as their work here had been handled. They wanted to stay a little longer but they were too busy and couldn't get a break in their schedule.

Both of them made a sad face at it but then told Gu Xiao Yue and the two brothers to visit them in Jiang city when they have holidays.

It was sunday today so Gu Xiao Yue didn't have any school. She got a report from Long Jin Yu that the necessary number of workers have been employed and were in the phase of training. All were chosen very carefully ad he kept Gu Xiao Yue's words in mind.

Gu Xiao Yue asked grandpa Gu to lend him a person to deliver the raw stones which he agreed instantly without batting an eye.

Gu Xiao Yue then went to her room as she then took out the raw stones from the space and then let Gu Shen, who worked for grandpa Gu to deliver it to the Long Jin Yu at the workshop.

Gu Shen took the raw stones as he got help from a butler to lift the load and put it in the car. He then drove to the location where Gu Xiao Yue had given.

When he got to the workshop, he saw a man standing outside the workshop as he then walked towards him in quick steps. He stopped the car and got out.

"Are you Long Jin Yu?" Gu Shen asked the man.

"Yes, I am. Xiao Yue had already told me about your arrival for delivering the raw stones so I have been waiting outside." Long Jin Yu introduced himself as he explained to him with a smile.

Gu Shen nodded at him as he then helped him to carry the raw stones inside the workshop.

They were done in 5 minutes as Gu Shen then bid him goodbye and drove away towards the Gu mansion.

Long Jin Yu was full of anticipation for the raw stones as he had seen how Gu Xiao Yue was very accurate in such gamble and get raw stones of good quality. So he gathered his trusted workers as he proceeded in extracting the jade inside.

Gu Xiao Yue was reading a book as she seemed focused on it. She was preparing for the exams which was only two weeks away.

Although she knew enough to at least pass the exams but she wanted to get in the top and not remain humble since she got a secons chance in reliving this school life. She will spend her school days in the best way.

Sometimes, Feng Jiao would also visit her to study together or to take a break as they lazed around in the garden. Everytime these two met, the kitchen would be in hustle and bustle.

As she read the book, her cell phone suddenly rang. She then placed the book aside and grabbed her cell phone as she recieved the call.

"Hello?" she answered and heard a familiar voice.

"Hello? Is it Xiao Yue?" It was a man's voice as he spoke calmly, devoid of any emotion.

"Long Wei?" Gu Xiao Yue asked in certainty as she thought what might be the reason he called her.

"Yeah. It's me. Are you busy today?" Bai Long Wei asked her in a cold tone but inside his mind, he was happy to hear her voice.

"Me? I don't have anything to do today. Is there something you need from me? I will help you if it's within my reach." Gu Xiao Yue said that as she smiled.

"I heard that your exams are nearing so I thought you might be stressed out about it. So I wanted to ask if you would like to go out for fresh air together with me." Bai Long Wei said that as he felt a bit nervous and was uncertain if she would accept it or not.

It was Xuan Xi Xue's idea to ask her out for refreshment so as to show his care for her. But he didn't understand why he had to show his care for her. Is it really necessary?

Although confused, he still did as he was told to for meeting Gu Xiao Yue.

"Go out for fresh air? Sure. That's a great idea. I have been feeling bored staying inside my room all the time. So what time do you want to go out?" Gu Xiao Yue said that as she expressed her contentment with the idea. Although she didn't expect it to come from the ice berge like man, Bai Long Wei but she was still happy.

" We can go right now if you like. I am heading towards your place from my work so get ready." Bai Long Wei said that as he then ended the call without the consent of Gu Xiao Yue. He was afraid she will reject going out right away so he just said all that and ended the call for no objections.

Gu Xiao Yue was dumbfounded by how fast he ended the call without letting her agree to it. She just sighed as she then got up and dressed up.

She wore a light purple coloured one piece dress with a pair of white sneakers and a light purple outer. She let her down as she then headed downstairs without any make up.

Bai Long Wei had already been waiting for her outside the gate for 5 minutes. When Gu Xiao Yue got out, she saw his car and then saw Bai Long Wei looking at her from the passenger seat.

She waved at him as Bai Long Wei nodded and told her to get in. She then sat beside Bai Long Wei as the driver then started the car.

"Where do you want to go?" Bai Long Wei asked Gu Xiao Yue as he turned towards her.

"Hmm..maybe a park?" Gu Xiao Yue contemplated for a bit and said.

"Drive towards the amus.e.m.e.nt park." Bai Long Wei told the driver as he then drove the car im the direction of amus.e.m.e.nt park.

Bai Long Wei wasn't in his usual suit and pants but in a black dress up of black shirt and black jeans with a pair black shoes. He looked more younger with his usual m.a.t.u.r.e aura gone but a cold and s.e.xy aura was emitting from him.

Gu Xiao Yue only said to go to a normal park but she didn't mind going to the amus.e.m.e.nt park either as she had never been there before.

More like, she didn't have the time to go and enjoy herself there. So she looked forward to seeing the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

"Don't worry. I will make sure to drive away your boredom today. Feel free to say whatever you would like to do. I will accompany you for the whole day." Bai Long Wei said such touching words to Gu Xiao Yue which made her blankly look at Bai Long Wei. She even thought if this was really the cold and aloof Bai Long Wei which she met before.

What Bai Long Wei just said was actually what Xuan Xi Xue told him to say to Gu Xiao Yue so as to let Gu Xiao Yue have a favourable impression on him again.

He also didn't know why he had to say such things to her for getting close to her. He just said it as Xuan Xi Xue had nagged him for awhile to not forget it. But looking at Gu Xiao Yue's adorable reaction to it made him feel like whatever it was for, it was still worth it.

Bai Long Wei suddenly reached out his hand and poked at Gu Xiao Yue's cheek slightly which made both of them freeze and look at each other in a trance.
