Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

Gu Xiao Yue missed such a rare opportunity to see such a beautiful smile on Bai Long Wei's face as she was busy taking in the beautiful scenery fron high up.

When she turned back, Bai Long Wei had already returned to his calm and cold expression.

She looked at the man before her carefully as she then didn't have the same feeling of her heart racing like before when she saw his slight smile so she was sure that it was all a misunderstanding.

She wasn't against falling in love again after being betrayed by her first love. But she also had her own standards and now she only wanted someone who would never betray her and only love her whole heartedly.

She felt more relaxed after sorting out her complex emotions inside her brain and continued enjoying the peaceful moment.

The two of them then finished their 'date' as Bai Long Wei dropped her to her residence. Gu Xiao Yue waved at him as she said 'Goodnight' then went inside the gate as the gatekeeper opened it.

Bai Long Wei then told his driver to return back to his place as he thought about what they did today and he smiled unconsciously throughout the way back home.

The time flew by quickly as it was now already the day for the exams.

Gu Xiao Yue had already memorised the content of her books while she also had her own understanding of it so she was very much prepared for this day.

She woke up early as usual and followed her daily routine as she had her breakfast with her family.

"Xiao Yue, Ah Qin, Ah Yan. Good luck on your exams today. Don't pressure yourself too much and just stay calm as you answer whatever you can while you don't worry about the ones you don't know. You can do better next time if you can't today."

Grandpa Gu encouraged his grandchildren while having breakfast. He didn't like the thought of having his beloved grandchildren stressed out about anything so he told them to not worry about anything and just do what they can.

The three grandchildren thanked grandpa Gu as they finished their breakfast.

Gu Shao Yan was always the top student from his year so he didn't have anything to worry about. Gu Qin Zhen also came inside top 10 so he was more relaxed.

But since Gu Xiao Yue wasn't that good in studies before, they were concerned about her but didn't show it as they thought she might get depressed over it so they only encouraged her to do well.

Gu Xiao Yue already knew what they had in mind so she just smiled and thanked them as they didn't have to worry about it at all.

Gu Shao Yan and Gu Qin Zhen went to school first and Gu Xiao Yue went to her usual meeting spot to go to school together with Feng Jiao.

"Xiao Yue, are you prepared for your exams already?" Feng Jiao asked as she sipped her chocolate milk in her hand.

"Yeah. I am well prepared for it so don't worry. You just make sure to do well or else you might get separated from me again." Gu Xiao Yue said that as she chuckled.

"That won't happen as even though I don't study much, I can still get better marks than those nerds who wrack their head to study." Feng Jiao said that as she snorted.

"Sure sure. Good luck for your exams. Now let's see who gets to school first. " Gu Xiao Yue said that as she then sped up and ran.

"Hey hey hey! That's unfair." Feng Jiao pouted as she then threw away the empty plastic cup in a thrash can and then ran to catch up with Gu Xiao Yue who was already far away.

They reached the school early as they then decided to take a stroll around the play ground to refresh themselves.

Their were many students here and there who were sitting around and chatting or reading their books and asking each other questions that have possibility in coming in the test today.

There wasn't any shouts from the boys who usually played football and basketball in the court but only the chatter about the subject matter and some other random chatterings.

This unusual scene still became one of a peaceful moment as they took a stroll around while discussing about what to eat for lunch today and so on.

After 10 minutes, the bell rang as it indicated that the exams will start in 5 minutes so all the students hurried towards their class as they kept their books and note copies in their bags.

Gu Xiao Yue and Feng Jiao also went to their respective classes as they prepared their exam materials and then sat on their seats.

The teacher came inside the class as he distributed them the question paper and answer sheets.

It was maths exams today.

Gu Xiao Yue looked over the problems for a minute then started solving them in a calm and quick way. Her pen danced around the paper gracefully as her beautiful handwriting was displayed fully.

Her hands didn't stop till she finished all the problems in just 20 minutes. She stopped writing as she set her pen down. The teacher saw her actions and only thought that she was having a hard time solving the problem.

But then he saw her stand up as she then came forward and handed over her paper to him.

"You are already done writing?" The teacher asked as he looked at her in a strange way.

"Yes." Gu Xiao Yue nodded.

"You won't regret handing over your paper so fast right?" The teacher asked her again.

"Yes, I won't regret it." Gu Xiao Yue answered calmly as the teacher then let her go out of the class.

All the students saw that and only thought that she didn't know anything so she handed her blank paper over. Even the teacher was thinking the same thing but when he looked at her answer sheet, he was stunned by the beautiful handwriting and the simple but accurate answers.

Her way of solving the mathematical problems were even better than him, a maths teacher. He turned over the page as he saw that she had already finished all the problems and it was all correct, no mistakes at all!

He felt very excited but also doubtful but he didn't have his suspicions for long as he had been watching her since before and she hadn't stopped her hands even once so he knew she didn't cheat.

He kept on turning over the paper as he looked at the answers and even felt like posting it in a newspaper. But he then calmed himself down as he placed the paper on the desk and then continued watching over other students.

Feng Jiao had also finished writing after 40 minutes as she then got out of the class, stretching her hands lazily. She then saw Gu Xiao Yue sitting in the garden alone from the window and hurried over her as she hopped on her steps.

"Xiao Yue, you are already done? Did you do well?" Feng Jiao reached to her side as she then asked her.

"Yeah. It was easy today. What about you? Did you do well?" Gu Xiao Yue turned towards her as she replied with a smile.

"Of course. It was a pain for writing straight for 40 minutes nonstop but the problems was nothing for me." Feng Jiao said that in a bragging tone as she sat beside her.

The exams finished after 2 hours as the teacher hurriedly went towards the teachers office as he took Gu Xiao Yue's answer sheet.

He couldn't wait to tell his fellow colleagues about this new talent.
