Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

Shu Ling Shi secretly chuckled as she saw that it was Zhao Shi's turn today.

She knew that Zhao Shi didn't like Gu Xiao Yue at all so her plans were going to bear fruit just from her presence. She really wanted to see how Gu Xiao Yue would react to her 'present'.

Everyone started writing after Zhao Shi finished distributing the question papers. Gu Xiao Yue just as usual, looked through the questions for 5 minutes.

The questions today were somehow hard but she already memorised the contents so she was confident of her answers.

Gu Xiao Yue then started writing her answers in a fast but steady pace.

10 minutes passed after the exams had started. Zhao Shi looked around the class as she then walked towards Gu Xiao Yue's seat. She saw how Gu Xiao Yue was absorbed in writing her answers which made her snort.

She came near her desk when she suddenly saw a crumpled paper under her desk. This made her eyes light up as she then bent down to pick the paper up. She opened the crumpled paper and saw that it wss full of Chemistry's answers written in small letters all over the paper.

"Student Gu Xiao Yue. What is the meaning of this?!" Zhao Shi sneered when she found the paper as she was now sure that Gu Xiao Yue had cheated in her previous exams too.

So she made an angry face as she questioned Gu Xiao Yue in a loud voice. All the students turned towards them when they heard the angry shout.

Gu Xiao Yue stopped writing as she looked at Zhao Shi with confusion written in her face then she saw the crumpled paper on her hand which made her understand something as she glared at Shu Ling Shi who was now looking at her with gloating eyes.

"I asked you something! What is the meaning of this paper?! Were you cheating in all the previous subjects too?! How bold of you to think of cheating in front of me! Give me your answer sheets and get out of the class! I will make sure to fail you in all your previous subjects too!"

Zhao Shi said that as she didn't even inquire whether it was really hers and just reached out her hand to confiscate Gu Xiao Yue's answer sheet but she grabbed the answer sheet and hid it behind her back as she looked at Zhao Shi coldly.

" Teacher Zhao, don't you first need to find out whose paper that really is before accusing me of cheating?" Gu Xiao Yue wouldn't let anyone bully her so easily without fighting back.

"Hmph! Whose other than yours could this paper be? It was right under your desk too. So who might it belong to then? Isn't it obvious?" Zhao Shi said that as she snorted disdainfully.

"Do the handwriting in it match mine? Do the answers match? How can you say that it is mine without even investigating it clearly? Just because it was under my desk doesn't mean that it is mine. Maybe someone else had thrown it here, who knows?"

Gu Xiao Yue said that coldly as she directed her eyes at Shu Ling Shi. Shu Ling Shi was a bit uneasy but she still believed that Zhao Shi would pin the blame on Gu Xiao Yue in any way possible so she just sneered at her.

" You still dare to deny the fact? Then how do you explain about submitting you answer sheets in such a short time before? It is clearly you cheating and finishing your answers before anyone which explains why you handed over your paper so fast."

Zhao Shi wasn't going to let this opportunity go away to show the true colour of this hateful girl to everyone so she made up anything to pin the blame on Gu Xiao Yue.

"What is happening here?" A voice came in from the door as everyone turned towards the source. It was teacher Qi Jing Xin who came in after hearing the angry shout from Zhao Shi in the silent classroom. He was the invigilator in the class right beside this one so he could hear the noise from there.

"Teacher Qi, it's you. Come here and look at this shameless student's act. She actually dared to cheat right before my eyes. Look at this paper. I found it under her desk and saw that it actually had densely packed answers written. When I asked her whether it was hers, she denied it even with the obvious fact."

Zhao Shi immediately answered when she saw Qi Jing Xin coming towards them. She was even feeling very proud as she could now prove him wrong. 'Didn't you say that hard work can pay off and gave such a lecture to me? Now look, you were wrong all the time.'

"Cheat? Let me see." Qi Jing Xin looked at the paper and took it. He saw that it was just as Zhao Shi said, Chemistry's answers were written in it. He then glanced at the calm Gu Xiao Yue who wasn't panicking nor nervous. He doubted whether she really cheated or not.

" Have you investigated whose this paper might be, teacher Zhao?" Qi Jing Xin asked as he didn't believe in something without any proof.

"What is there to investigate? I found it right under her desk so it must be hers so why bother investigating while the culprit is already found?" said Zhao Shi.

"It is only right to investigate the truth properly before accusing someone without a proof. Teacher Zhao, are you sure that you aren't accusing someone innocent? Student Gu Xiao Yue, please give me your answer sheet for a moment. I would like to check whether the handwriting matches yours or not."

Qi Jing Xin then looked at Gu Xiao Yue and said that as he reached out his hand. Gu Xiao Yue knew that teacher Qi was an upright person and wouldn't accuse anyone blindly so she gave her answer sheet to him.

She had already finished writing more than half of the answers. Qi Jing Xin then compared her handwriting with the one in the paper and it didn't match at all. He also checked the answers and saw that they were all different.

Only some answers in the paper had really been asked in the question paper and even the answers for those questions were written in more detail by Gu Xiao Yue which was enough to prove that she was innocent.

"Teacher Zhao, what do you have to say now? You can clearly see that student Gu Xiao Yue wasn't cheating now. How about finding the real culprit instead of pinning the blame on someone innocent?"

Qi Jing Xin said that as he denounced Zhao Shi for her behaviour.

" I will let the principal know about this matter later. So make sure to find out the real culprit behind it." Qi Jing Xin then handed the paper to Zhao Shi and returned the answer sheet to Gu Xiao Yue and went back to his own class.

Zhao Shi crumpled the already crumpled paper in her hand as she was feeling anger boiling inside her. But she could only look for the one who did this as she didn't know whether she can keep her job after this.

Shu Ling Shi saw how Gu Xiao Yue got out of it because of the sudden interference from Qi Jing Xin and was now getting nervous about being found out.

She was the one who wrote the answers in the paper and she hadn't thought it throughly that the plan will backfire even when the paper was found under Gu Xiao Yue's desk.

Zhao Shi was looking around the handwritings of the other students while comparing them with the one in the paper.

Gu Xiao Yue continued writing her answers and finished in 10 minutes. Because of the matter before, it took her 40 minutes to finish writing today. She submitted her answer sheet and went out of the class, ignoring the glare from Zhao Shi.

Zhao Shi finally found the culprit behind the cheat and couldn't help but vent her anger on Shu Ling Shi. She confiscated her answer sheet and wrote a big F with her red pen and scolded her and kicked her out of the class. Shu Ling Shi was between anger and tears when she got out of the class after getting scolded.

"Tsk tsk. You wanted to bring me down but look who had to eat the dirt. You can only blame your own idiocy. Who would even leave such an obvious proof behind while you scheme for someone's doom? Really, I have never seen someone as stupid as you."

Shu Ling Shi saw Gu Xiao Yue coming towards her as she mocked her with her words. She glared at her hatefully as if wanting to cut her into pieces.

" You had better just lay low instead of using your useless brain to scheme against me. Who knows if you might even call for your own death while setting a trap for someone else? So it's for your own good. Don't use your small brain anymore."

Gu Xiao Yue finished saying that as she pat Shu Ling Shi's shoulder and went away.

Shu Ling Shi could only grit her teeth till it bled as she glared at the back of the receding figure. Her hatred now couldn't be explained with mere words.
