"I remember now! It was probably Gu Xiao Yue from class 1-C who had that symbol number! I saw it once when she submitted her answer sheets earlier than anyone else. But...is it really possible for it to be her? I mean..she wasn't so good in her studies before so how? Right?" The guy started cheerful but then his voice died down into a doubful one.

" Gu Xiao Yue?! Hah, that can't be! Maybe you have mistaken her symbol number for someone else's. That's the only thing that no one will ever believe. You are just spouting nonsense."

The other students who heard that were shocked then bursted out in laughter and mocked the boy who said that.

" M-maybe..I was mistaken. Haha." The boy also scratched his head awkwardly and laughed along others.

Gu Xiao Yue looked at them behaving like this with indifference.

But Feng Jiao was different. She heard everything the boy said and when she heard him saying that the symbol number was Gu Xiao Yue's, she had a feeling that it was really true which was also proved by the nonchalant look of her friend when she asked her to confirm whether it was true or not.

"Xiao Yue...,is it really you that took the first place?" Feng Jiao asked with no doubts but only anticipation.

Gu Xiao Yue just smiled and didn't say anything to her which just made Feng Jiao believe that it was real.

She then felt a very strong emotion of happiness and excitement mixed together gushing out of her heart. She couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Oh my god, Xiao Yue! I knew that your results won't be any ordinary but you gave me even more shock than what I expected! Hahaha!" Feng Jiao excitedly embraced her then continued laughing in happiness.

Gu Xiao Yue was helpless at her reaction so she just let her hug her tight enough to suffocate her.

However, she could feel the sincere happiness coming from Feng Jiao which made her smile happily. Maybe, Feng Jiao's happiness was contagious enough to even influence her.

"Hey, look. Talk of the devil and devil appears." A girl pointed towards Gu Xiao Yue and Feng Jiao who were embracing each other happily and said in a slightly sarcastic tone.

The students had heard the loud laughter coming from Feng Jiao which let them spot Gu Xiao Yue next to her.

" Seems like someone actually thinks that she really took the first place. Hmph, we can just wait for the updates in the school forum and see for ourselves how your name gets cleared out of the rankings and gets announced as only a mistake." The one who said this sarcastically was Xi Chu Chu.

She had been suspended from the school for being a culprit in spreading false rumours about Gu Xiao Yue and had only come to school when exams started.

She couldn't make trouble till then but now that the suspension was over, she came again, strutting around and wagging her annoying mouth.

"Really, how could the teachers make such a stupid mistake? Well, it at least let a lowlife to take in the feeling of being in the first place even if it would be only for a while till it's all fixed. She can just take it as a first and last time experience and cherish it forever. Haha." It was Chu Jing Jing who said that with a smile full of mockery and disdain.

" Oh yeah? Well, even if Xiao Yue could experience it for the first time or last, she could at least do that. But you girls...well, even if you spend your whole life wracking your head with books, you won't be able to have the same experience as Xiao Yue did. So, doesn't that make you lower than a lowlife? "

Feng Jiao looked at them and said with the same sarcastic tone and mocking smile like those two girls and counterattacked them back with her words.

" What more try to mock her, you aren't even qualified to talk about it so just shut your damn mouths!" Feng Jiao then roared at them and her smile faded from her face, replaced by a cold sneer.

Gu Xiao Yue looked at Feng Jiao and wanted to clap seeing how she had changed all this time.

Maybe it was because of her influence, to deal with those who can be dealt with by words and use violence if they still don't leave you alone.

Feng Jiao was the type to jump out at once and punch right on the face of the one who would make her angry so seeing her using her words instead was a new thing for herself.

Feng Jiao felt like using words instead of fist once a while wasn't a bad thing as long as your opponents were stupid bitches.

The so called stupid bitches were angered by her counterattack which made them grind their but didn't know what to say.

They wanted to argue back but the bell rang just at the right time which made them unwillingly turn their body towards their classrooms and leave the place.

Of course, they didn't forget to give some glares full of hatred at Gu Xiao Yue.

But Gu Xiao Yue wasn't even fazed by that and just went to her class for the last time as the classrooms will be changed tomorrow and she will be in a different classroom after that.

The students all went inside the class and sat on their seats.

They were all feeling annoyed after remembering that they had to see Zhao Shi's annoying face and hear her nonsense again but after a moment, they got a big surprise which could only be taken as only a good news!

A teacher came inside the classroom instead of Zhao Shi which made the students feel puzzled.

'Did Zhao Shi take sick leave or something?' The students thought that in sync as they waited for the teacher to say something.

" Good morning, students. I am Cui Wu and I will be your head teacher from now on as teacher Zhao had quit her job. I hope to get along well and teach you better things from today." Cui Wu said that with a friendly smile on his face.

He looked like a kind uncle next door with that gentle smile on his face. All the students couldn't help but widen their eyes at this news then after a minute passed, came a series of roar-like shouts of happiness from the students.

'Finally! Finally they were free from the witch's clutches!!' The students cried imaginary tears of happiness as for the first time, their minds seemed to have a very close connection with each other. They either made gut pose or high fived with their friends.

Cui Wu tried to control the students but they didn't even listen to him and just displayed their way of expressing happiness to this great news.

"Silence please! Everyone, please take a seat and listen to me!" Cui Wu finally raised his voice a little which got the attention of the students.

The students then sat on their seats properly after seeing the gentle man frowning at them. The class was finally quiet.

" So, I was saying that the results are posted on the announcement board and will also be posted in the school forum in more detail. But I would also like to call out the name for one student to tell her something as this has never been done by a student in 1-C before." Cui Wu continued and then searched for the figure who he was talking about.

The students heard what he said and they already knew who he was talking about but they thought that it was actually to let that person know that it was only a never-before-done mistake from their side abd and to not get too disappointed on it.

So some looked forward to it while some were worried about it. The one who was looking forward to see Gu Xiao Yue get embarrassed was of course Shu Ling Shi.

While the ones who were worried about her were the students who had come to take a liking to Gu Xiao Yue and had also wanted to be friends with her.

They just hoped that she wouldn't feel hurt about it.
