Cui Wu then locked his eyes at Gu Xiao Yue. There was a glint of interest inside his warm eyes.

He saw that Gu Xiao Yue wasn't nervous nor proud, only calmness could be seen on her face. He then smiled lightly and said.

"Student Xiao Yue, please stand up from your seat for a while." Gu Xiao Yue heard him talking to her so she got up from her seat, already knowing what he wanted to do.

But she still wished that it wouldn't be done in such a showy way but since the matter about the results was indeed a big deal for the teachers so she just sighed and went with the flow of events.

Well, it wasn't bad being in the spotlight once a while.

If the teachers had heard what she was thinking right now, they would have beaten their c.h.e.s.ts in frustration about how she didn't even care about this matter.

All the students looked at Cui Wu in confusion.

Just announcing that it was only a mistake in her rankings should be a small matter so why did he even need to keep such suspense and also have Gu Xiao Yue stand up from her sea? Or was it that she did something wrong?

The students then looked at Gu Xiao Yue in suspicion and curiosity. They thought that the teacher was going to scold her for some mistake.

Cui Wu didn't know what the students were thinking and what Gu Xiao Yue was thinking and just smiled happily and opened his mouth to drop a huge bomb at the students who weren't expecting it.

"Everyone, I would like you all to congratulate your fellow classmate, Gu Xiao Yue together with me for getting the first place with oerfect score in the exams! Give a big applause for this happy occassion." Cui Wu said that in a cheerful way and then clapped his hands.

But then he stopped clapping after he felt the awkwardness in the atmosphere.

He looked at the students who were now widening their eyes as big as a ping-pong ball and their jaws were hanging so low that it seemed to be able to touch the floor.

"Hmm? Why are you reacting like that? Oh! You must be very shocked from this news too, I understand you all as I was also very shocked by this outcome. But I feel happy for student Xiao Yue's achievement and you should also congratulate your fellow friend for this." Cui Wu smiled at them encouragingly.

" Teacher! Why are you joking with us? It's not real right? You were trying to say that her results were a mistake right? She isn't the class topper, right?! Right?!" Shu Ling Shi asked like she was in a frenzy, while her voice shook in every words like she couldn't take in the 'stupid' joke.

" Student Shu Ling Shi, what do you mean 'joking'? I'm extremely serious about this and I can also guarantee that she is indeed the class topper. You can check it out later in the school forums. Then it's up to you to bekieve it or not." Cui Wu was slightly doubtful of her suspicion on this matter.

He had also heard that she was the culprit behind the cheating incident and looking at her behaving like this in Gu Xiao Yue's achievement made him finally understand that she was not cheating but was trying to frame her instead.

After he saw through this clearly, he somehow found Shu Ling Shi very displeasing to his eyes as he frowned and answered her in a stern tone.

"What?....that's all nonsense! How can it be true?! How can this bitch really be the class topper?! She is nothing but a loser! An idiot! How can she get such scores?! She must have cheated! She must have cheated! Teacher! You should look into this matter thoroughly so that this cheater won't be able to decieve you like this! "

Shu Ling Shi had already lost her mind when she heard that Gu Xiao Yue really got the first place.

She was filled with great rage, jealousy and hatred which made her unable to understand what she was saying in front of everyone.

" Shu Ling Shi! What nonsense are you spouting!? How can you speak such vulgar words to your fellow classmate and also in front of a teacher?! Do you think I don't exist here? Get up and stand outside the hallway with your hands up in the air for the whole period! Don't you dare let your hands down even once!"

Cui Wu finally felt his anger boiling in his head when he saw how she behaved like a shrew in the market, shouting, denying and cursing like a mad woman. He now had a very bad impression of Shu Ling Shi inside his mind.

Shu Ling Shi finally got her mind at the right track and then went pale after realising what she just said. She trembled in fear when she heard the gentle teacher shouting at her in anger.

She got up from her seat and then ran outside the classroom with all the looks of shock, contempt, mockery and gloating from the students following her receding back.

The students really thought that she had gone mad to actually dare say such things in front of the teacher and also to Gu Xiao Yue who had the demon king as her friend and also knew how to kick some butts herself.

They also got out of their shock and were now feeling great admiration for Gu Xiao Yue, who actually could pull it off like this while no one could do so in this class before.

They thought of her like the pride of the class now but then remembered that she would be changing her classes after tomorrow which made them feel slight regret on not interacting with her before.

"Anyway, let's give a big hand to student Gu Xiao Yue to congratulate her." Cui Wu then returned back to his gentle expression in just a few seconds. His change in emotion was really prais worthy.

All the students then clapped their hands loudly and congratulated Gu Xiao Yue, who was calm and only and a small smile on her face as she thanked them once.

Cui Wu was again impressed by her indifference to the praises and her achievements. But she still kept her manners and thanked them with a smile like a m.a.t.u.r.e lady.

'The teachers were indeed true. She is anything but ordinary.' Cui Wu thought with a smile.
