Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

Gu Xiao Yue got to know a bit more about Qi Ren after they had a lunch together. She found out that Qi Ren was only bad at expressing his emotions, he wasn't a bad guy.

The previous challenge he declared wasn't meant to be provocative either. He only did that because....he was jealous.

Gu Xiao Yue was amused to find the reason behind the jealousy. She had been wondering why he would be a bit hostile despite only meeting once but then she saw that he was more thoughtful of Feng Jiao the entire lunch time.

He didn't show it openly but he still bought Feng Jiao's favourite food as well as shared his own when Feng Jiao said she wanted to eat more, while saying "I am full already, you eat." with no emotion.

Even his eyes didn't leave Feng Jiao whether he looked at her straightforwardly or secretly through the corner of his eyes.

Gu Xiao Yue had been observing them quietly which made her discover something really interesting.

She looked at the oblivious foodie Feng Jiao and then at Qi Ren who was busy glancing at Feng Jiao.

Gu Xiao Yue smiled amusingly as she finally understood the situation.

"Xiao Yue, Xiao Yue? Why are you smiling so creepily!?" Feng Jiao called out to Gu Xiao Yue who was still lost in her thoughts. She found the smile on Gu Xiao Yue's face a bit...weird.

"Hm..hm? Oh, sorry. I was thinking about something. What did you say again?" Gu Xiao Yue jolted out of her thoughts and said.

"What are you thinking about that you are even smiling like that? You look beautiful while smiling but that smile was a bit creepy, you know." Feng Jiao said as she rubbed her arms, as if getting goosebumps.

"Creepy? Well, nevermind that. You won't get it." Gu Xiao Yue said as she glanced at Qi Ren who was now looking at her as if wanting to see what kind of creepy smile Feng Jiao was talking about.

"Anyway, since we have finished our lunch, let's go back to the class." Gu Xiao Yue said that as she took back her sight from Qi Ren and Feng Jiao. She then got up from her seat.

"Okay, though I don't want to really go to the class." Feng Jiao said with an irritated look.

It was physics class after lunch break which was just what Feng Jiao didn't like at all. She would either sleep in class or just bunk it before she met Gu Xiao Yue but now, she only slept in the class.

" You should at least attend the class, stupid. If you had listened to the course from the teacher more, you might have made it to top 10 already." Qi Ren knocked at Feng Jiao's forehead which got him a kick from her that he dodged easily.

"Why did you dodge it?!" Feng Jiao said with an annoyed look.

"You aren't good enough to land an attack on me. Better practise more with older brother to make me unable to dodge it again, stupid." Qi Ren said that as he looked at her calmly.

He said all that, but he still recieved the next kick from her without dodging which contradicted with what he just said.

Gu Xiao Yue looked at this pair of cat and dog as she wanted to laugh at the way they got along with each other.

She found them both cute and perfect as a couple. The only thing left was for Feng Jiao to realise it then everything will be fine.

She wished the best for her friend and she somehow got the feeling that Qi Ren could be the one. But all of it depended on Feng Jiao herself. So she didn't think of interfering in their chemistry herself.

After the results were announced, the class change was done the next day and Gu Xiao Yue also got into class 1-A after that.

Her brother, Gu Qin Zhen and Feng Jiao were very happy to be in the same class from now on while some were unable to accept this at all.

Xi Mei Mei and some of her entourage were pissed to see her in the same class which made them grind their teeth when they thought about how she got the first place in exams.

They felt provoked by the thought of being in the same level as the one they looked down upon before.

Xi Mei Mei felt even more jealous and hatred than anyone as she was now not as popular among the students as before because of the rumours. And now, all the students were attracted to Gu Xiao Yue instead.

This made her feel like she became more inferior to Gu Xiao Yue and that she was now nothing more than a clown. She didn't like this feeling at all.

Gu Xiao Yue entered the class with Feng Jiao and Qi Ren then headed to her new seat which was still at the last row, near the window.

Feng Jiao used to sit there but she gave her the seat and sat on the seat beside her which had the original owner driven away by Feng Jiao's threatening gaze.

Qi Ren unexpectedly didn't sit on the front row like any other top students would but sat right in front of Feng Jiao's seat which was now Gu Xiao Yue's.

He then changed his seat again and sat right in front of Feng Jiao, of course, the original owner was threatened away too.

Gu Qin Zhen's seat was actually at the front row but he also changed his seat and sat infront of Gu Xiao Yue's. Though his seat was given up by the original owner full of smiles. Really, his sunshine like smile was very effective on other students.

Gu Qin Zhen thought to himself.

' Now that Xiao Yue will be in the same class as mine, I can pamper her, protect her and become the best brother without a problem! Yan can only cry from the sides hehehe.'

He imagined of him being hugged by Gu Xiao Yue lovingly while Gu Shao Yan crying at the side with jealous tears. He smiled brightly as he found it very pleasing.

His unconscious smile dazzled all the students who saw it which also made some girls blush red like a tomato. It was lethal for their hearts!

Gu Xiao Yue saw this scene as she shook her head from side to side helplessly. She knew that he was imagining something stupid again. Her two brothers were really weirdly cute.

She then felt a hostile gaze on her from the front which made her glance at the source calmly. It was Xi Mei Mei. She was glaring at her from the corner of her eyes as she bit her lower lip.

She knew that Xi Mei Mei was unwilling to see her in the same class as her nor see her being friendly with the 3 idol like figures in the class. Which were Feng Jiao, the demon king, Qi Ren, the top student and Gu Qin Zhen, the second most handsome guy in the school.

Who wouldn't want to get along with such people? So the jealousy was very much reasonable as well as unreasonable.

Because the jealousy and hatred towards Gu Xiao Yue just because of this is just too unfair for her. As she was also one of the big figure now.

Gu Xiao Yue smiled calmly at Xi Mei Mei as if not taking her seriously even now. Xi Mei Mei found that smile more provocative than any insulting words. It felt like it was mocking her silently and looking down upon her.

This made Xi Mei Mei's facial expression crack a little as she glared at Gu Xiao Yue more openly but got to her senses fast and put on her facade again.

She only felt her hatred towards Gu Xiao Yue seeping deep inside her bones. She now really wanted to get into contact with 'him' and put her plan into act so that she could get rid of Gu Xiao Yue as fast as possible.

Or else, her emotions may give in anytime and let out her true self infront of others which was just what she feared the most.
