Why didn't Ruby tell Queen Isabel what happened? It was a serious problem that she should suppose to tell but didn't. *sigh* I don't understand.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Ruby."

Ruby!? I quickly and carefully got out of the bed that the girls are sleeping soundly on. I wonder why would she visit me in the middle of the night? I opened the door and there she is, waiting outside. I went outside the room and close the door, making sure that they will not hear us talk.

"Why are you visiting me in the middle of the night?"

"It's about what happened. I want to say I'm sorry that we got into that kind of trouble because I choose to go through tha-"

"Hey, it's alright."

I interrupted what she was about to say and place my hands on her shoulder.

"It was both our decision that we went through that place. Also, I'm the one who's supposed to say sorry when I scared you when we got into that situation."

"It's ok you didn't scare me. I'm just glad that you protected me when you could just choose to leave me there."

"Don't say that. I'm not that kind of person to just leave someone as sweet as you."

Her face red when I said that and shyly look away.

"Thank you."

"Your welcome. Now let's get back to sleep, good night."

"Good night."

I then went back to the room. Huh? Is it just me or did the sleeping position of the girls changed? Well, I'm just going to sleep.

The next day Sally, Lillian, and Karla were smiling at each other like they did something exciting.

"Did something good happen?"

When I ask they were giggling.

"I guess you can say that Felix, but it's only for girls to know."

"If you say so."

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"Who is it?"

Lillian ask.

"The Queen has invited you for breakfast."

"Well be there in a few minutes."

The servant left.

"Let's change our clothes."

When we're done changing clothes we went to the dining area of the castle. Waiting on the table was Queen Isabel and Princess Ruby. When the girls saw Ruby they started to smile again. What are they even thinking?

"Good morning Queen Isabel."

I then greeted the Queen. Sally, Lillian, and Karla greeting them as well.

"Good morning everyone, please take a seat."

"Good morning Fe-Felix."

"Good morning Ruby."

Wait... oh crap! I just informally greeted a Princess in front of a Queen!

"I mean Princess!"

Both Ruby and I were blushing from that embarrassing moment.

"I-it's ok to call me that Felix."

"*giggle* Well, I see that your both lively today."

"Mo-Mother!"

The smiles on the girls is a full-blown grin now. We took our seats.

While eating the meal, we made some small talks.

"So Felix, how did you manage to meet you, wives."

It took all my willpower not to choke on my drink.

"Uhm... It's kind of a long story my Queen."

"I don't mind."

"Let's begin at my childhood..."

After a while of talking, everyone was chatting happily on the event. When a guard suddenly barges in the room with their sword drawn and knelt in front of the Queen.

"What is the meaning of this?"

Her voice calm, but I heard a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"I'm sorry my Queen but a rebel force and some of our soldiers are waiting outside the castle, ready to attack! They want to send me a message saying that if you don't want to be dethroned, you must not allow an alliance with Silfridia and send the diplomat to them!"

"I'm not going to allow that! Who is the perpetrator!?"

Her calm demeanor shifted into an angry leader.

"3 of your 5 generals are leading the coup!"

"Tell them that I will not give in to their demands."

"Yes, my Queen!"

The guard quickly runs off.

"I'm sorry to end this breakfast but I need you to go to the back of the castle and use the escape route."

"How about you Mother!"

"I will be fine, go with Felix."

"I will not leave you here Mother!"

Now ignoring her daughter, Queen Isabel looks at my eyes.

"She's in your hands, Felix."

"*sigh* Sally, Karla, bring Ruby to the Humvee. Lillian, find a vantage point."

When Sally and Karla tried to bring Ruby with them she tried to resist.

"No! I will not leave you here Mother!"

Tears were flowing out of Ruby's eyes. I then went in front Ruby and place a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down.

"Ruby, your Mother is going to be ok. I'll make sure she's safe and sound."

"Can you do that?"

Wiping her tears from her eyes.

"Yes, I'll make sure of it. Just follow Sally and Karl, they'll keep you safe."

After a while, I manage to convince her to go. Good, she's out of this mess. I then went to the Queen.

"Why didn't you go, Mr. Felix? You're not safe here."

While I talking to her she was equipping her armor and wielding a two-handed battle axe.

"True, but I've been through worse."

"Are you sure? You're not wearing any armor."

"I am wearing armor but not the traditional kind."

Under my clothes is a stab-proof Kevlar vest. Different from my Class 4 body armor that is big and bulky. My stab proof vest is small and compact so its not noticeable under clothes. I want to use the Class 4 body armor for better protection but I left it on the Humvee with my HK416.

I'll just use my M9 then, good thing I packed five extra magazines in my backpack. I also have 3 magazines on my holster/belt, and one already loaded in the M9.

"Really? I don't see it?"

I remove my shirt to show the Queen the black vest.

"This is it, Queen Isabel."

"This black cloth? Are you sure that would protect you?"

"Let me show you."

I grab my KA-BAR knife and thrust it into my c.h.e.s.t, the knife halted by the Kevlar fibers. The Queen who saw me stab my self gasped. I then repeatedly stab myself to show that the stab-proof vest is sturdy and can withstand multiple stabs. It does stings when I do that.

"Amazing, without using any metal it can stop a knife multiple times without puncturing.

I then wore my shirt back.

"Well let's stop this coup shall we?"

She nods.

Outside the castle gate, was a group of more than a hundred rebels and soldiers waiting outside. The guards who I met when I first arrived were anxious. When we arrived at the gate, the group went wild seeing us.

"The traitorous Queen and the bastard from Silfridia are here!"

"Why would you do this!"

The Queen shouted.

"Our country doesn't need help with Silfridia! Our country will prosper without them!"

"It's the exact opposite! If we want our country to prosper, we have to have an alliance with Silfridia!"

"No, it will not work! If you don't give the diplomat to us and stop the alliance we will dethrone you!"

"I will not give in to you're demands!"

"So be it."

When he said that I notice someone chanting! Oh shit!

"Get away from the gate!"

I tackled the Queen on the ground, the guards who were close to the gate also dive for cover before a fireball blows up the gate to pieces, shrapnel flew over our heads. The rest of the castle guards were engaging in CQC with the group of enemies.

I then grab the Queen off the ground and ready our selves for the battle, my M9 lock and loaded.

Six people quickly charge at us while the rest engage the castle guards. Queen Isabel spun herself and used the momentum to smash her battle axe at the two enemies, they quickly died by the powerful swing, the blade smashing the bones and internal organs. While I on the other hand...

*bangbangbangbang*

I shot four enemies on the torso possibly hitting their lungs, trachea, or heart effectively killing them with one shot. Their steel armor useless against the penetrating power of a 9mm bullet.

Some of the enemies who heard the gunshot and saw their allies shot dead, was fleeing.

"It's him! The one who stopped the attack of the University of Worldy Magic! Hunter Fox!"

I'm surprised that they even remember me. I'll let them go, they know they're outmatched with my gun.

"Cowards!"

Their allies shouted.

"So who's brave enough to fight me?"

I ask them.

"Let's get him!"

Five more people charge at me...

*bangbangbangbang*

Four of them shot dead on the torso. When one manages to slip beside me, his sword directly swinging towards my belly! Shit! Then suddenly his arms were blown off from his body, the sword still clutched on his dismembered arm.

*whiz* *bang*

"Aaarggghhhh!!! My arm!? What happened to m-"

His head was blown open by .338 Lapua. The blood splatter hitting my face.

"This is hopeless! we can't fight against that!"

"Let's retreat!"

One by one they retreated out of the castle. Those who were slow enough got killed by the guards or captured. I then gave Lillian a thumbs up, where ever she's positioned.

"Remember this! We will be back!"

He looks at me while pointing the sword.

"I think you're not going to be back."

I aimed my M9 on his forehead.

*bang*

Blood spurted out off of his forehead then the sword that he pointed at me clatters on the pavement, his body also hitting the pavement.

The escaping group now panicking to escape.

"Are you alright my Queen?"

"Yes, I'm ok Mr. Felix how about you?

"I'm also ok."

I then look around the castle ground, multiple enemies are dead, injured, and captured while only four of the guards are lightly injured, one seriously injured.

I then heard a rumbling sound when something rode down the road. It's the Humvee! Karla manning the M134 minigun and Sally driving it, I then saw Ruby waving her hand through the bulletproof glass windshield.

Sally then drives in the castle ground and park the Humvee. Ruby got out of the passenger seat then hugs her Mother.

"Mother! Are you ok!"

"I'm fine Ruby, you should thank Mr. Felix."

"Thank you!"

Ruby let go of Queen Isabel and hugs me. Everyone looking at us like a couple who hasn't seen each other for years.

"Your welcome but everyone is staring at us."

"Oh!"

She let go of me, blushing.

But first is the defense plan of the castle.

"Queen Isabel, I'm sure that they will return with more men. We have to get ready for another siege."

"Yes, you're right. We have to get ready for the next battle. But I don't want you to join this fight, Mr. Felix, I want you to let us deal with this."

"True, I can choose to leave, but I'm not going to."

"Why?"

"The first term on our Military agreement; Any attack on Silfridia or Remloah will be immediately supported in the defense and/or reclamation of enemy-occupied land. I chose to fight because I want to enforce our agreement."

"It's nice to be working with you."
