Reborn As A Fox Beastman With Modern Knowledge

After the first offensive attack against the castle, everyone was on high alert. All castle guards stationed were mobilized to patrol every inch of the castle 24/7. Sally, Lillian, and Karla wearing their combat uniform and equipment, their guns at the ready.

I wore a gray camouflage uniform, tactical level 4 body armor, and tactical helmet attached with an NVG. My HK416 and M9 locked and loaded. When everyone was ready and geared up, we went to the Queen to report.

"Queen Isabel, we're ready to fight day or night."

I saluted the Queen.

"Good, we need all the support we can get."

When I lower my hand, Queen Isabel was examining us from head to toe.

"What are you wearing?"

"Combat equipment, as the name suggests it's used for combat."

"You look intimidating wearing that."

"I guess it is. It also gives you a lot of protection."

"Similar to what you wore before?"

"Yes, but this is much stronger than that."

"How strong?"

"Well, it manages to stop an arrow from penetrating my heart."

"That is indeed strong."

"I think I should go patrol around the castle, Queen Isabel."

"Sorry for bothering you with this Mr. Felix."

"Don't be, I'm just upholding our agreement."

Nighttime and still no movements, but I'm sure that they're waiting for the right moment to attack or they're doing something sneaky under my nose.

I then check everyone on the radio.

"<Everyone whats your sitrep?>"

"<Nothing here Foxy.>"

"<No movements Hubby.>"

"<Nothing here either Felix.>"

"<Continue you're patrol, I feel like that there's something bound to happen.>"

Midnight and still nothing. Well, there's a nice full moon on the night sky today.

When suddenly my radio crackles to life.

"<Hubby! A large force is assaulting the front side of the castle! We should provide support!>"

"<No.>"

"<Why!? The castle guards are heavily

outnumbered!?>"

"<They might be outnumbered Lillian, but they're not undefended. They're also in the most well-fortified part of the castle, they can handle it. Besides the Queen is over there, she's an experienced warrior>"

"<If you say so.>"

"<But if you want, you can provide them with sniper support.>"

"<Thanks Hubby!>"

When I was done talking with Lillian, I then thought about the plan I made before. Sally, Lillian, Karla, and I took different positions in the castle. Sally on the East wall, Lillian on top of the castle, Karla on the west, and me on the south.

The position allows us to have a 360° view around the castle and with NVG we have, we have the ability to look at night like it's a bright sunny day If you don't mind that everything is green.

When suddenly multiple bright red glowing orbs shine at the distance when it went into an ark towards me and a few castle guards. Oh, f.u.c.k me!

"Everyone get down!"

I quickly ran and dive to the other end of the wall, my previous position on the wall crumbled by the impact of a large flaming rock, including with some of the guards who were unluckily crushed by it. Shit!

The other projectiles that are still on the air finally hit multiple parts of the castle, causing huge damage. I quickly got up and check everyone on the radio.

"<Everyone! Are you ok!>"

"<I'm fine Foxy!>"

"<I'm ok Hubby!>

"<How about you Felix!>"

"<I'm ok! But the wall! Is it still standing!?>"

"<Still standing Foxy!>"

"<There's some damage but it's ok Felix!>"

"<Good! Maintain your positions! Lillian, Do you see where those came from!?>"

"<Let me see... their trebuchets!>"

"<Can you disable it?>"

"<I think I can!>"

[Enemy Commander's POV]

"Load it up again! Teach those traitors a lesson!"

"Yes, si-"

*whiz* *bang*

Wh-what? Hi-his head. I-it burst open!?

"What the f.u.c.k hap-"

Like his comrade, his head was blown open.

"<Hubby! I manage to shot their operators and commander, the others are panicking.>"

"<Good! Keep up your sniper support!>"

"<Roger!>"

"Raaaarrrggghhhhh!!!"

Multiple people are now charging at us with weapons drawn. I then set my HK416 to full-auto and aimed at the charging party using the IR laser. Slowly I squeezed the trigger.

*Ratatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatata... click*

I then unloaded all the rounds in my STANAG magazine at the enemies, effectively killing multiple people from direct hits or collateral. I removed the empty magazine, slam a new one in the HK416 then press the bolt release button, chambering a new 5.56 NATO. I then repeat the process.

"<Foxy I've engaged the enemy!>"

"<Multiple enemies are climbing the wall with ladders, Felix!>"

Sally and Karla's transmission has multiple gunshots in the background.

"<Hold it as long as you can!>"

I then hold my ground until the enemies overwhelmed us with their numbers. Some manage to get through the collapsed wall when the castle guards engage them in CQC.

I stopped firing at the enemies outside the wall, set my HK416 into semi-auto, and shot the enemies that are engaging the guards. Carefully not to accidentally shoot the guards through the enemy.

"<Hubby! Some enemy troops got through the Queen's defenses and are heading in the castle!>"

Shit! Ruby is in there! I hope that the guards would protect here long enough for me to arrive!

I then yell at the guards.

"Can you guys handle this!? The Princess is in trouble!"

"We will handle it, sir!"

"Protect the Princess sir!"

"If you manage to survive this, I'm going to buy you a barrel of wine!"

That manages to boost they're moral.

I then run into the castle, heading directly to the throne room where Ruby is. When I arrive at the throne room five castle guards were in engaging in combat so I quickly shot the enemies. When the guards saw me they relaxed.

"Are you guys ok?"

"Yeah, thank you, Sir. Felix."

It's the same girl when I arrived at the castle gate, but a bit different when she fully took off her helmet than when she opens her visor. Instead of a pair of human ears was a pair of bunny ears, freed from the confines of the helmet. This is the second time I saw a bunny girl, but first Ruby.

"Where's Ruby!?"

"The Princess went upstairs! Two enemy troops are also chasing her!"

"Lead the way!"

"Yes, Sir. Felix! You four, guard the stairs! Don't let anybody through!"

I then followed the bunny guard upstairs. After a while of running in the hall, she signaled me to stop. She then places a finger on her lips, signaling me to keep quiet, her ears standing tall, scanning the surrounding for sound.

"ple... he... m.."

She quickly bolted when she heard something, searching for the origin of the sound while I follow closely behind her.

[Ruby's POV]

"Somebody please help me!"

"Get back here!"

"Stop running bitch!"

I run and run for as long as I can until I manage to trip on my feet. Oh no! I painfully slam on the floor. I tried to get up and ran but it was too late. The bad guys caught me and I was thrown on the floor again.

I tried to struggle against their grips but I was too weak. One of the bad guys held my two arms and the other straddled my h.i.p.s. I struggled and struggled but it was still pointless. When he suddenly talks.

"Look at what we have here, its the girl from the alleyway!"

No! It can't be!

"I'm going to enjoy this! too bad your boyfriend is not here! Hahahahaha!

"No! Get off of me!"

He then grabs my dress and rips it!

"NOOO!!!"

Every time he grabs my dress he rips part of it off! Until I was left in my u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r!

"HELP!!!"

"No one's going to help you now! Not even your boyfriend!

"GET THE F.U.C.K OFF OF RUBY!!!"

I quickly shot both of the bastards on the shoulders, giving Ruby a chance to escape there grasp. She quickly runs towards me, hugging me while crying in my arms. I then look at the bunny guard.

"Can you look after her for a second?"

"Yes, Sir. Felix."

The bunny guard then led Ruby away from here.

I quickly went to the two bastards who are groaning in pain. When they tried to stand up I shot both their kneecaps, making them disabled... permanently.

""AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!""

Both screaming in agony. When I saw one of the faces of the bastard, my blood boiled. When he saw my face, his eyes widened.

"I-its you!"

"You remember what I said before? You will die a painful death."

He then tries to crawl away from me using his only good shoulder. Let me change that.

*bang*

"Aaarrrrgghhhh!!!"

He collapsed like a twig after I shot his shoulder, making him unable to use both his arms. I then point the barrel of my HK416 on his.

"N-no don't!"

*bang* *clink* *clink* *clinkinkinkink*

The sound of the gunshot echoing in the castle and the ejected brass casing clinking on the ground until it rests on the bastard's pool of blood. The other guy was petrified seeing me execute his partner in crime.

I then pointed the HK416 on him, not even react to it. His mind, psychologically scarred.

*bang*

"<Hubby do you copy?>"

"<I copy. What is it?>"

"<The enemy forces are retreating!>"

"<Good job everyone! Let's rendezvous at the front gate.>"

When I was done talking through the radio, I went to look for Ruby and the bunny guard. When I found them Ruby was wrapped in white cloth and sitting on the ground while she is hugging her legs close to her c.h.e.s.t.

The bunny guard keeping watch when she noticed me. I also notice that one of the windows has a curtain missing. I then went to Ruby and kneel down in front of her.

"Are you ok Ruby? That was a traumatic experience."

"I-I'm... waaaahhhh!"

She then hugs me again, crying on my shoulder.

"Shhhh... it's ok. Just let it out."

I then rubbed her head. After a few minutes of Ruby crying on my shoulder, she manages to calm down.

"Tha-thank you, Felix."

"You're welcome."

We then stand up and went to the front gate, but first I have to ask something from, bunny girl.

"I haven't got a chance to ask you this but what's your name?"

"My name? It's Sheryl Manda."

"Nice to know you."

"Likewise."

"Let's go meet up with the others."

"Ruby! Are you ok!"

"I'm fine Mother, Felix protected me."

"Thank you, Mr. Felix! How can we ever repay you?"

"You don't have to. I'm just doing what I have to do."

Then Lillian and Karla arrive.

"Hubby!"

"Felix!"

They hugged me for a few seconds before letting me go.

"Wait, where's Sally?"

"I'm right here Foxy."

I look around to find the voice until I saw Sally's bloody arm.

"Sally! What happened!?"

Concerns came through my mind.

"Are you ok!"

"How did that happen

Lillian and Karla also concerned.

"I'm ok everyone, someone manages to knick my arm with his sword."

"Let me take a look, Sally."

When I removed her hands I saw the deep cut.

"You need stitches, Sally."

"I'm ok Foxy, its nothing to be con-hisss..."

"That says otherwise."

I then remembered something.

"Lillian."

"Yes, Hubby?"

"Can you heal her cut?"

"I can."

"Please do it."

"You don't have to ask."

She then places her hands over the wound.

"I summon you, the light in our world, repair this bodily wound, [Heal]"

A bright yellow glow shines on Lillian's hands. When she moves her hands away, the wound on Sally's arm slowly closed up until nothing is there.

"Thank you, Lillian. The pain is gone now."

"You're welcome Sally, I'm just thankful that you're safe."

*Sigh*

I breathe a sigh of relief knowing that this is over.
