Eddie sat inside his newly purchased private jet with his eyes closed thinking about the future. "Sir We're close." Eddie nodded hearing Brian's voice.

Eddie stood from his seat walking to the front of the aircraft he stopped in front of the parachutes. He quickly strapped one to his back walking to the hangar door he grabbed a black duffle bag. "Brian, take care of Lillith while I'm away I'm not sure how long this trip will last, open the door."

"Yes, sir."

The hangar door opened and Eddie didn't hesitate he jumped, diving down, the wind, the speed, the thrill, it all reminded him of his wings. Flying wasn't just a simple way to travel for Eddie, It was when he relaxed the most when he let his thoughts flow freely.

No aircraft created by the current technology on earth could deliver the thrill he once had at the tip of his fingertips.

Eddie focused on the ground and the closer he got the better he felt until finally, he opened his parachute allowing him to safely float down to the ground.

An oasis filled his sights, sand stretched for miles, but Eddie knew his destination. Just upon the hill, Nanda Parbat the hidden city.

Eddie steadily walked through the front entrance he saw no reason to sneak in. The sounds of swords clashing could be heard through the long halls. Eddie walked towards the sound, he expected to see Ra's Al Ghul but to his surprise, it was a girl.

Nyssa Al Ghul trained day in and day out hoping to one day take over the league, Eddie liked her character in the T.V. show Arrow. Her ignorance of the outside world, her strong will, not to mention her looks.

Eddie watched as Nyssa dismantled each and every assassin, although she was young Eddie could already see the woman she would become if she persisted on this path.

Not far away observing Nyssa's training stood Ra's Al Ghul, his face was frowning as he watched his daughter defeat the other members of the league. As Nyssa finished he turned to the boy who stood in the doorway watching Nyssa's every move.

"You boy, have you come to join the league?" Ra's Al Ghul questioned, This time of the year was when most would journey to Nanda Parbat in hopes of joining such an organization.

"No, I've come to challenge you," Eddie spoke earning a laugh from Ra's Al Ghul.

"Oh, you're being serious?" seeing Eddie nod Ra's face became harsh.

"You a boy, who hasn't even grown c.h.e.s.t hair dare challenge me, I don't know if you're brave or stupid. Tell me boy what's your name."

"Wade." Eddie lied.

"Well take off your shirt, We have festivities to get to so I'll make your death quick." Ra's removed his own shirt and Eddie removed his swords before taking off his own shirt. "I see we'll be using Katana's." Ra's said as he pointed towards the pair of swords behind Eddie.

Eddie only picked up his sword as he readied himself for battle the reason he was here was simple he needed to use the Lazarus pit.

Both Eddie and Ra's Al Ghul charged at each other meeting in the center of the room their swords connected as Ra's smiled. "You're pretty strong for a boy, are you sure you don't wish to join the league."

Eddie kicked Ra's in the abdomen with his foot, Ra's slid back and his smile only grew wider as he looked at Eddie. "It's a pity, I believe you would do well under my tutelage."

Ra's charged back towards Eddie swiping his sword towards Eddie's neck, Eddie did his best to dodge but Ra's swept with his leg making Eddie jump to dodge. Eddie brought his sword down towards Ra's head making Ra's bring his sword up to Block. "I believe it's time I started taking this seriously."

Ra's twisted his sword destroying Eddie's grip sending his sword flying " This is your last chance, Join us or die." Ra's pointed his sword towards Eddie's neck.

Eddie said nothing before he reached for the blade of Ra's sword grabbing hold of it even as blood dripped from his cut hand. "You talk a lot." Eddie kicked with his leg connecting with the Sword sending it flying into the air, as Ra's looked up seeing his sword rise into the air Eddie dashed towards his own.

"You're right though, it's time to end this," Eddie said as he turned to the armed Ra's. Eddie prepared himself to end the battle in the next strike.

They both ran towards each other swords drawn Ra's slashed with all his might connecting with Eddie's abdomen, yet Eddie continued his own swing ignoring the pain he currently felt his slashed towards Ra's C.h.e.s.t leaving a huge line across his c.h.e.s.t.

Ra's fell to the ground, question filled his mind he was sure he would be the winner though his face showed only happiness for he had finally found his heir. Though that was ruined when he heard a voice "Get him to the Pit." Eddie spoke bringing every member of the league out of their stupor.

"Do as he says," Nyssa spoke up as her eyes left her father and met Eddie's. "Come I'll show you to your quarters.

Nyssa led the way to a spacious room with a built-in pool of hot water.

Eddie didn't hesitate and as soon as Nyssa left he lowered himself into the pool of hot water cleaning the blood and dirt from his body.

His wounds had already healed not even a scar could be seen.

Nyssa made her way to Lazarus pit her father's body was being lowered into it as she arrived. She watched as how wounds visibly healed his body stitching itself together.

Ra's Al Ghul roared as he burst from the water a huge smile soon appeared on his face. he had finally found the one he was looking for his heir.

"Nyssa, kindly ask our guest to join us for dinner." Ra's smiled towards his daughter.

Nyssa quickly walked towards Eddie's room once she arrived she noticed Eddie sitting with his back towards the door. he was wearing pants only with his katana in his hand cleaning it. Nyssa noticed the burn marks on Eddie's back she was surprised seeing them. "Al-Mahraqa," she whispered under her breath as the name popped in her mind.
