Yang Chen looked at the Police station and found that they were looking at him with a daze.

"This will be good shelter if it was barricaded with the right materials" said Yang Chen.

Yang Chen looked at his hand and saw the lottery ticket on it.

"System, I want to use the lottery ticket!" Said Yang Chen.

The lottery ticket started shining and the system notification sounded.

Yang Chen's body stiffened and his eyes became wide.

"I got a skill?!" Yang Chen was amazed.

"Hahaha....I got skill on the first day of the apocalypse! I hit the jackpot!"

He has expected a low-level weapon or a potion! But, never in his wildest dreams thought that he will win a skill!

Yang Chen walked to the Police station and said " I don't mean any harm! I just want to find a good place for me and my parents!".

The police officers smiled hearing Yang Chen, They opened the door and let Yang Chen enter with his parents.

Yang Chen and his parents looked at the police offices and saw that they were in sorry state.

"The monsters only appeared 3 hours ago but it has already left you like this?!" Asked Yang Chen's father.

The police officers face showed sadness as one of them started speaking about what happened in just three hours.

"The monsters appeared suddenly and no matter what we do, our weapons didn't do any significant damage to them! In just two hours, most of the police stations have been completely destroyed by them! We lost many of our comrades in just two hours! We could only barricade the station and pray that they don't break through it!".

Yang Chen nodded as he knew the reason behind it. The System is a bitch that like to screw the humans. The system has a weird requirement that when you want to use a weapon, you have to say equip. Otherwise, the damage caused by it will be 1 point!

This is the reason that most of humanity was killed when the beasts attacked. Even, through the humans have strong weapons, the system will not allow it to show its might unless you say 'equip'.

Yang Chen started explaining to the police officers that they should day 'equip' when they use a weapon.

The officers were sceptical about it but nonetheless, they tried it and became shocked.

Yang Chen was satisfied as now the police officers can defend this station against Level 1 and 2 monsters with ease.

Now, he can let his parents here and go out to hunt the monsters so he can level up.

Yang Chen searched for weapons to use. He didn't want to use guns as it will attract the monsters attention. After searching for a few minutes, he found the perfect weapon for him now.

Yang Chen also took a gun with him in case of something happens.

Yang Chen left the police station and started hunting the monsters around the station.

Yang Chen started to abuse the monsters with the skill he got. Even though the skill, Acceleration give only a 10% increase in speed, it gave him an even more edge against the monsters.

Yang Chen wanted to increase his level to Level 4 but level 1 monsters have become useless to him now. He only killed them to clear the area around the Police Station.

Once he cleared the area, Yang Chen decided to look for Level 2 monsters.

Suddenly, Yang Chen heard a woman scream. He rushed toward the scream location and found a beautiful girl surrounded by three Level 1 Orc warriors.

Yang Chen was surprised to see that the girl was his classmate, Her name is Lu Xiaoyu.

The Orcs smiled as they walked toward Lu Xiaoyu.

Yang Chen cast the Acceleration skill and rushed toward the orcs.

Lu Xiaoyu noticed Yang Chen heading toward her and was shocked. Yang Chen started fighting the Orcs and Lu Xiaoyu's shock increased.

Yang Chen display has shocked her soul. She knew Yang Chen as a lazy and silent student that didn't care about school, he always sleeps in the class and the teacher would shout at him but he only looks at him and sighs before going back to sleep.

She watched how Yang Chen used the small knife and to kill these large orcs. Lu Xiaoyu's eyes were wide as Yang Chen moved with a great speed that she could barely follow him.

Yang Chen's agility has reached 11 points while the Orc warriors agility was 4 points.

This disparity caused Yang Chen to be the bane for the slow but strong monsters like the orcs.

Yang Chen killed the orcs with little effort and his eyes shone as he found something pleasant.

One of the monsters has dropped loot!

Yang Chen turned around and wanted to leave. He has killed the Orcs and Lu Xiaoyu was save.

"Head to the Police station after three blocks, you will be safe there" said Yang Chen.

"Yang Chen, Wait!" Said Lu Xiaoyu.

Yang Chen looked at her and said " What do you want?!". He didn't want to waste any time with her as he needed to level up in short amount of time.
