Red Moon Apocalypse

Yang Chen started killing monsters for a full day. He would come back to the police station when he is exhausted and do his breathing exercise. Then, he would continue his hunt after resting.

His Father, mother, and Lu Xiaoyu were worried about him as Yang Chen would come back covered with green blood. He didn't even bother cleaning himself.

The reason behind this is that Yang Chen wanted to find a magic skill for Lu Xiaoyu. He killed more than 20 Orc Mage but sadly, he wasn't lucky.

He found good equipment for Lu Xiaoyu and the last piece in the Orc Warrior set.

Yang Chen now was fearless as all of his stats were above 10 making all Level 1 and 2 monsters like children. He killed more than 29 Orc Mages. When he killed the 30th, it finally dropped a Skill Book.

"Finally!" said Yang Chen as he took the skill book and went back to the police station. He stood in front of Lu Xiaoyu and said " Lu Xiaoyu, do you want to become stronger?".

Lu Xiaoyu was puzzled by Yang Chen's sudden question.

"Yes, I want to be strong!"

"Then, let me explain your situation"

"You have a high Intelligence while the other stats are quite low, This means that you should become a mage or priest".

"Mages are heavy damage dealers but they have weak combat ability and HP! They could die if a monster got to close to them!"

"Priests are the same but instead of dealing damage, They give buffs and healing to their companions" said Yang Chen.

"What do you want to become?" asked Yang Chen.

Lu Xiaoyu became silent as she started thinking about it.

"Can you give me some time?" said Lu Xiaoyu.

Yang Chen agreed and sat down and started his breathing exercise. He felt a stream of warm energy moving inside his body and washing the tiredness away.

"Good! If I continue like this then, in two weeks I will form the Internal Qi and unlock the Internal Qi master class!" thought Yang Chen.

Yang Chen formed one strand of warm energy inside his body before the apocalypse and formed another one after the apocalypse.

In Order to unlock the Internal Qi master class, Yang Chen has to form 20 strands of the warm energy. After that, the strands will merge and form the Internal Qi which will open his Dantain.

"Yang Chen" called Lu Xiaoyu.

Yang Chen opened his eyes and said " Have you decided?".

"Yes, I want to become a mage" said Lu Xiaoyu.

Yang Chen nodded and gave her the skill book. " Say learn the skill book". Also, he gave her the equipment.

"Learn the skill book" said Lu Xiaoyu. The Skill Book turned into light that entered her head.

"Xiaoyu, come with me! I will make you reach level 3 in one day!" said Yang Chen as he carried Her and left the Station.

He wanted to make Lu Xiaoyu stronger so he can go to the Shingjing city and save Lu Wan. Yang Chen's Level is 4 and if Lu Xiaoyu reaches level 3 then, he and the survivors in the police station could leave the city and head toward Shingjing city. Yang Chen didn't want them to enter the city, His plan was to build a stronghold outside the city and To develop the stronghold which will make it the sanctuary for humanity.

"Once news spread about a safe shelter, many people will come to it and in that time, I will train the people with the best potential!" though Yang Chen.

Yang Chen stopped in front of an Orc group.

"Use your skill and kill them, Take notice of the skill cooldown! Don't be afraid, I am beside you and no one will touch you" said Yang Chen. Lu Xiaoyu looked at Yang Chen silently for a few seconds before nodding.

With the equipment that he gave to her, Yang Chen knew that she could all level 1 and 2 with ease as long she abused her skill on them.

Lu Xiaoyu took a deep breath and pointed at an Orc Warrior.

"FireBall" said Lu Xiaoyu.

Flames appear on her hand and formed into a large ball.

Yang Chen nodded in satisfaction seeing the Fireball.

For magicians, The way to increase M.Attack is by increasing Intelligence and using magic staffs.

Lu Xiaoyu intelligence is 17 points and the staff gives 7 M.Attack points. Also, the effect of the three parts of the Orc Mage's set gives 15 M.Attack points. And the skill cause 14 damage points.

This means that Lu Xiaoyu damage output is 53 Points.

Yang Chen sighed and though " Magicians are truly perverted in the early part of the apocalypse"

The Fireball flew toward the Orc warrior and engulfed his body. The Orc warrior couldn't even scream as his body has turned into ashes.

The remaining Orcs looked at Yang Chen and Lu Xiaoyu direction and rushed toward them.

"Xiaoyu, when dealing with a monster group, You should target the monsters that have long range.This will make it easy for me who are a close range fighter! Then target the remaining enemies" said Yang Chen.

"Look at the Orc Mage. He is getting ready to throw a fireball at us! This will give a chance for the Orc warriors to reach you and attack you! Also, Your skill cooldown is 10 seconds! You should always be in motion and don't stay in a single place for too long".

Lu Xiaoyu nodded as Yang Chen told her about her mistakes. The Fireball that the mage throw at Yang Chen and Lu Xiaoyu flew toward them.

Yang Chen grabbed Lu Xiaoyu and sidestepped. They avoided the fireball easily.

" Now, Target the Orc Mage while I stop the Orc warriors" Yang Chen walked toward the Orc warriors without worry.

Lu Xiaoyu followed Yang Chen's command and throw a fireball at the Orc Mage after the cooldown which killed him instantly.

Yang Chen disposed of the Orc warriors easily and come back to Lu Xiaoyu.

"I will help you hone your battle skills by making you fight monsters until you pass out of exhaustion!" said Yang Chen.

After that, Yang Chen and Lu Xiaoyu started hunting Monsters for an entire day.

Yang Chen taught Lu Xiaoyu how to survive during a fight. What is the best place for a magician and how to carefully plan her attacks.

Even though one day wasn't enough for Yang Chen to teach her all the knowledge he has, He told her about the most important things she should take notice of.

Lu Xiaoyu was clumsy the first three fights but started to get better at the fights after them.

"Good! Now, let's go to the main dish tonight!" said Yang Chen.

"We Will hunt a level 2 monster!"

Lu Xiaoyu's body got tense at the thought of fighting level 2 monster.

"Have more confidence in yourself! You are a magician!" said Yang Chen.

He and Lu Xiaoyu searched for a Level 2 monster and found another High Orc who was surrounded by a group of level 1 Orcs.

Yang Chen dashed toward the Orc warriors and Lu Xiaoyu throw Fireballs at the Orc Mages.

They killed all the Level 1 Orcs in less than a minute. The High Orc appeared with a female corpse in his hand which caused Lu Xiaoyu's face to turn pale.

"This could be my fate if Yang Chen didn't save me!" Thought Lu Xiaoyu.

"Xiaoyu, attack the High Orc continuously and don't stop at all" said Yang Chen.

He started to fight the High Orc while Lu Xiaoyu sent a Fireballs at the High Orc.

Yang Chen forced the High Orc guard against his attacks which made the Fireballs slam into the Orc body and burn it.

Lu Xiaoyu needed only three fireballs to kill the High Orc. She was happy as the system message showed that her level has increased.

"Yang Chen, I levelled up!" said Lu Xiaoyu excitedly.

Yang Chen felt satisfaction from Lu Xiaoyu stats and though " Things will be way easier like this! Now, we can leave the city without trouble and we will do it before Level 3 monsters appear". Then, he looked at the Corpse of the High Orc and found that it had dropped an item.

"No But! It will increase your HP and increase the chance of your survival!" said Yang Chen.

Lu Xiaoyu looked at the High Orc's Heart and nearly cried. The disgusting smell was too strong and nearly made her vomit. She gritted her teeth and ate the Heart. She wanted to vomit as the taste was too bad but, she was able to finish it.

Once she got the notification that her Vitality increased, Lu Xiaoyu started vomiting.

Yang Chen sighed and thought " If you taste the higher level items, then this heart will be the most delicious thing in the world!".
