The carriage ride was uncomfortable but Hazard was still able to fall asleep, he even slept through a few magical beast attacks. The girls didn't bother to wake him during the attacks due to them dispatching to beasts within a few minutes.

Hazard's dream was about his former life, he remembered walking down the streets with his family and his videogames, and everything about his life but still not his name. His dream continued running through his life until... the carriage hit a rock and he smashed his head against the wooden railings.

"Mother fnkr!" He murmured.

"Great sleeping beauty is awake." Gem said.

'They have sleeping beauty on this Earth?'

[No, it appears to be a phrase that carries through dimensions...]

"Yeah I'm awake, head hurts a little but I'm awake." he chuckled while clutching where he banged his head.

"Don't cry kid we are almost to the town."

"You do realize I'm sixteen right... I'm just short."

"What!?" x3

'Maybe I should have made myself taller, I was just used to being 5,5 so I created the character like that.' Hazard put his head in his arms and curled up into a little ball of disappointment.

[It would have been more efficient if you had set yourself at a normal height for your age, as you are now being mistaken for a child.]

Hazard sighed... 'Yeah maybe.'

[By the way someone has been poking on your shoulder for ten seconds now.]

Hazard looked to the side to see who was poking him, and it was Fell, she was just standing there poking his shoulder.

"Yes?"

"Sorry, we didn't realize that you were the same age as us." she lowered her head to apologise, and the carriage hit a rock... Fell tumbled over the side of the carriage but Hazard managed to catch her before she fell out of the carriage. He then pulled her back up quickly, as to not fly over himself when the next rock came.

"You alright?"

"Yeah thanks to you... sorry again."

"no need to apologise, I've gotten used to it." Hazard before his first death had been teased and bullied for his height, although he no longer cared about being called a child it still kinda hurt.

"I should have asked beforehand but what are you to have survived inside of the wolf stomach."

"Who knows anymore..." he sighed and then looked back out of the carriage, Hazard watched as the trees sped by. Watching the leaves slowly change in color as they moved further along, the leaves went from black, to purple, to red, and now green. They had apparently reached the edge of the Death Forest.

'Hey Sam you said I should appraise the girls right?'

[Yes it is highly recommended.]

'Ok I have no idea wh...' His train of thought was cut off as he used [Appraisal] on the girls.

"I might be too powerful..." Hazard mumbled.

"Hazard, look over there we can see the town." Fell was slapping Hazard's arm with one hand and pointing with the other. When Hazard turned to see what she was pointing at he saw... a massive wooden wall.

"That's the town?"

"Yes, welcome to Gabriel"

"Mhmm, so I guess we are visiting the Adventurer's first."

"You don't seem impressed." Fell said with a disappointed look on her face.

"No no, I'm plenty impressed I'm just thinking about something."

"What about?" she questioned

"What happens to me after you guys go. I've got no money, and frankly no clothing either since this robe belongs to you guys.

"Trust me, we don't want it back."

"Ha." Hazard giggled a bit at the comment but then went back to thinking.

While Hazard was looking out over the passing trees the bushes nearby shook.

'Sam, what was that?'

[It appears another popular trope of those novels is about to come true.]

'Which one... oh shit.'

"Everyone get ready to fight, bandits."

"Lies, I do not see any bandits." Sandra spoke up, she clearly does not trust Hazard, he was well aware of this point as well.

"Give it a minute..." Hazard grumbled, he did not like people accusing him of being a lier. His former life had been proof of that, Hazard's father always had a... tantrum if he caught Hazard lying, always yelling that he would not be lied to ever again, and that trust... trust could be lost in an instant, even if said lie was something as basic as saying you brushed your teeth when you really didn't. Hazard gave Sandra a dirty look and then jumped off the carriage. He didn't have parents or a family in this world so he swore to himself that he would never be in that situation again.

"Have fun on your own if you don't trust in my words." he said and walked off into the forest with his eyes closed, clutching his icy hair. he walked, and walked, and walked, until he could no longer see or hear the road.

He sat down attempting to erase the thoughts of his past from his head.

'Ugh... you there Sam?'

'For being here.'

Hazard got up and looked around, 'Where is the way to Gabriel, Sam?'

[The town of Gabriel is approximately 34 miles north of here. Do you wish for me to display a map with directions?]

'That would be lovely, thank you.'

The map appeared in his vision, he didn't have to focus on it to see it, he was just aware of it somehow.

Hazard sighed and began walking. 'How long until we get there?'

[One hour and fourty-two minutes until you reach your destination.]

'What are you Google maps?'

[No, Google maps is obsolete compared to me.]

'...Whatever, how fast if I run?'

[Due to your Agility stat being 36935 it is possible for you to cover that distance in 0.34 seconds however doing so would result you being unable to stop and crashing miserably into a wall. Most likely destroying a few buildings in the process.]

'Ok, how long if I don't go that fast.'

[If you limit your Agility to an average of 7034, then you will get there in about two minutes, desu.]

"..." Hazard stood there for a minute contemplating what Sam had just said. Not about the speed, he understood that. He was concerned about what Sam was becoming.

'What in my memory could have caused you to become like this..."

[The 3012 hours of anime.]

'That explains so much.' Hazard thought as he started to run. The trees flying past his eyes began to go by faster and faster, until they just became a green blur.

"This is so f.u.c.k.i.n.g awesome!" Hazard screamed as he jumped up above the tree tops.

'Is there as skill that allows flight?'

[No, although under skill [Wind Magic] their is {Levitation} a spell that allows you to float with minimal control. There is also a skill called [Winged] that grows wings on your back based on race and personality.]

'How do I get this [Winged] skill?'

[Skill [Winged] is awarded to those who aquire title [Sky Lover,] this title is gained by jumping above a certain altitude, previously only accessable by climbing up Divine Cliffs.

However you would be granted the skill at this point by jumping while combining Agility and Strength stat.]

Hazard stopped. 'What about coming down?'

[Have you forgotten you are immortal.]

'Oh right... well why not.' Hazard thought while readying himself to jump.

Hazard then took off, he was moving faster then any plane or jet could go or had the right to go. Without Hazard's defense stat being so high he would have been torn to shreds by the G-Force. Supprisingly his robe/pants had managed to stay on or at least not catch of fire, whatever they were made of was durable.

Finally Hazard reached the allotted height to complete the requirements, and Hazard heard a familiar noise.

He was so happy he could cry... flying another one of his childhood dreams could come true.

[Hazard I recommend you use your new skill as the ground will be approaching soon.]

"Oh right." he was reminded that the skill could be used to descend from this incredible altitude, and he couldn't wait to see what his personal wings looked like.

Icy white sparkles started to spring from Hazard's back as the wings began to form.

[Personalization setting have been set. your wings appear to be made out of a mist form Mana.]

The wings finished sprouting from Hazard's back and their shape finally took shape. They were the same shape as the wings of angels, and the same size as well.

The wings glistened in the sky that had just turned night, and the blue sparkles reflected in Hazard's eyes.

He was flying around extremely high in the air, he had caught himself before he fell to far back to the ground. Hazard spun upside down and began to look at the floor until he spotted lights amongst the trees. He flew down until he was just above the treetops and then flew towards the lights as to not let others see him.

Once he got closer something came into view... a bustling plaza with a fountain in the middle, people dancing around the fountain dressed in fancy clothing. Woman wore Old English style dresses while men wore dress suits. Some were drinking and laughing with giant mugs in their hands, while others just watched and talked from the sidelines. Everybody in sight was having a wonderful time.

'What's with the party Sam?'

[It appears the town of Gabriel is celebrating the return of a group of A ranked adventurers.]

'So, they got back safely then...'

[Yes it does seem that way.]

'Can't help feeling guilty for leaving them.'

Hazard was now floating above a roof top as to not be seen as he watched.

[Master... I recommend you find and alley and deactivate your skill.]

'Master?'

[I thought you were into that sort of thing.]

'Don't even start with that bullshit.'
