Scarlet,

"Your father...",

Ritzy,

"That was a private conversation".

Scarlet,

"But it's a major problem! Your father could abandon or even kill you if he hears about last night's events. And that's if he feels merciful, most likely he'll kill everyone here out of pure spite".

Ritzy,

"It does not matter what happened last night or will happen in the future. Now, unless you have something important to talk about. I'll be leaving".

Not hearing a peep from her, Ritzy walked past her and left the room. Going up a level, he was now on the deck.

The boat was currently leaving the Darya City ocean borders. Passing this point would mean that the Darya City patrolling boats will no longer protect them.

The sun was bright and shined on everyone working on the ship. Unlike the experienced crewmates wearing short sleeves, shorts, or anything that could keep them cool in this heat. Ritzy was wearing a white shirt which sleeves reached his elbows. With black pants and brown heavy boots.

Captain Shills quickly noticed Ritzy and approached him.

"Lord Ritzy, the sun is very strong today. I recommend switching to something cooler if you don't want to sweat too much out here".

Ritzy.

"I won't be here for long, I just came to advise you about something I saw this morning".

Captain Shills,

"Might what might that be?".

Ritzy,

"I saw an abnormal amount of people moving large stacks of weapons towards the dock areas while I was out shopping. Do you have any idea what it's about?".

The reason Ritzy said this was to keep the men on the ship cautious since they were currently being hunted. But Ritzy didn't want to reveal that yet. Since it could likely result in them returning and the guild not helping them anymore.

C Shills,

"Hmm, I can't say. There are many events that will come starting next month, but nothing currently. So unless thieves or pirates are preparing for next month, then I don't have a clue".

Ritzy,

"That too bad... So, what's happening next month".

C Shills,

"A variety of things since it's the start of a new season around the world. Humans and Giants are starting Fall while the other races are starting Spring".

Ritzy,

"Huh, I've must've lost my sense of time during the war".

C Shills,

"Oh yes, the guild leader did mention you are a warrior who fought with the Benedire family".

Ritzy,

"Ah- yes, I did fight alongside them".

C Shills,

"It's good to see such a capable young man! Wait aren't you a magician as well. How about we stop quickly at elf territory. I know it's a huge detour to Giants territory but they'll be having entrance exams for the United Mage School next month on the third".

Ritzy thoughts,

'Seems like no trick was needed after all to go to the elven kingdom... The only question now is why exactly does he want to go to the mage school.'.

C Shills,

"From your face, it seems like you don't know what I'm speaking of. Let me explain. The United Magic School is the biggest elven event. The entrance trial is held publicly so people like to bet on student outcomes. Like if they'll fail, win easily, or die by the trial enemy. But what really brings people is that since it's a magic school. Highly powerful people come looking for potential future magicians to join their army, world travelers come to see people battle with magic, and traders come to sell magical artifacts. This is perfect for a magician like yourself to buy any magical items."

Ritzy,

"Wait, but I thought nobody can go into the elven territory without an invite or unless they are elves".

C Shills,

"That's true but something to note is elven people still need to trade. So they open their port cities for trading but don't allow anyone to go more inland. But, at these port cities, they also sell visas to traders to be allowed inside the elven territory for a month".

"Money is a universal power".

Ritzy,

"Understood, let's take the -".

C Shills,

"I just remembered! In two weeks, Grotha Kingdom's first prince is getting married. Even though they're not the strongest kingdom. A royalty event still forces equal-level nobility to attend. Making the perfect occasion for bandits to roam its borders and seas".

Ritzy,

"So the reason people are arming up is that they're all going to ambush or protect themselves on the route to the wedding?".

C Shills,

"Exactly! This is even more of a reason to not head directly to the giant territory. This will have us too close to the direct sea route of Phoenix kingdom and Gonia kingdom to Grotha. Putting us at high risk for an attack".

Ritzy gave the captain a gentle smile and said,

"Then I'll listen to your advice and take the nice detour through the elven territory".

I apologize for being gone for such a long time, but what happened was that my pc suffered from water damage so I needed to get a new one. Then, if you probably noticed. A couple of months earlier, I stated I was gonna start reuploading and explain everything. Which was true but the pc I bought was online and wasn't shipped yet. Then shortly before sending it, the vendor noticed pc prices skyrocketed because of RTX 30 series and canceled. Now I had to save up for a new pc with its new prices. It was a long process but now I have something comfortable to game/write with.
