Reincarnated One Is A Cheat Goblin

This chapter is in the point of view of a different character then the Mc(main character). For those who dislike it I've warned you but I do think it's a good chapter and that you should try before judging.

In a beautiful city that has a rather lively mood you could see people walking back and forth and even tho the number of people isn't that high the nonstop movement makes it seem much higher.

In this apparently lively there's a specific building wear screams can be heard even from the other side of the city but people seem not to mind it as if it was a normal and daily happening here.

In the noisy building that is a two-story building there is a young girl that looks not a day older than 8 years old that is getting yelled at by serious women that looks to be about 25-27 years old and she doesn't seem to be going easy on her at all.

Woman:YOU IDIOT HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN TO BRING UR SO CALLED RESEARCH ABOUT SUCH A USELESS CREATURES THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN REACHED TO ITS LIMITS AND BRINGS NO BENEFIT TO US AT ALL!!!!!CANT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?!?!?!?! IF YOU CAN THEN STOP BRINGING THAT USELESS RESEARCH HERE. IF YOU EVER BRING THOSE USELESS NOTES OF YOURS ABOUT GOBLINS AND SLIMES EVER AGAIN I MYSELF WILL MAKE SURE YOU NEVER BECOME A RESEARCHER!!!!!!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYING?

To the last question the girl gives a nod she did want to say something but she wasn't given time to even do so and simply complies.

Woman:u know if you only at least do the same type of research the others are doing and try to find a way to exterminate or at least reduce the goblins with your talent you could do it.

Girl:thank you very much for the advice miss Lenia but i've already decided what kind of researcher I'm and I don't plan to change that at all I'll research all about those two monsters. ILL BE THE GREATEST GOBLIN AND SLIME RESEARCHER EVER!!!!

Lenia:*sigh* well I guess there's no helping that stubborn personality of yours is there?

The girls shook her head at Lenia's words.

Lenia:Marilyn I know ur determined but u don't understand how dangerous monsters can be, especially goblins to a little girl like you.

Marilyn: I know their l.u.s.tful and will specifically target woman but I'm well prepared and also I won't go alone.

Lenia:u don't get it Marilyn your still just a little girl who doesn't understand who cruel and terrifying this world can be.

Marilyn:I now that I've studied it all more than any of others so why am I the only one who never gets permission to go and I'm not the only one researching slimes and goblins so why can't I go to see them in their natural habitat like the others.

Lenia:because your much younger than all the others and aren't prepared and that's why I've been rejecting all your great work till now because your not prepared for camp work so stay in the laboratory research division for a couple of years more and then you can go ok?

Marilyn:WHAT?!?! SO YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS TO ME ON PURPOSE?!?!? SO THAT'S WHY YOU NEVER LET ME SEE OTHERS WORK AND THAT'S ALSO WHY YOU ALWAYS KEEP AWAY FROM ALL THE OTHERS ITS NOT BECAUSE IM INFERIOR ITS BECAUSE IM BETTER THAN THEM. YOU LIED TO ME ALL THIS TIME.

Marilyn said this while trembling and shaking while crying. While Lenia could resort as she couldn't find the words to do so.

Marilyn:at least tell me one thing, did you publish my work in your name?

She said with a saddened voice and expression while crying rivers of tears.

Lenia:yes I did but was because if I put your name there they wouldn't live you in peace.

Marilyn:u were just using me to get success and you say it like you wanted to help me but you only wanted to help urself, you know I don't need you anymore good luck with your research association, the worst part is that I used to admire you.

She said still crying but now with an extremely disappointed face.

Lenia: I never wanted to steal your work I simply wanted to protect all the money I made with your work has gone to you and been used for you to continue your work with nobody bothering you, or did you really think that your salary is the normal one.

Marilyn:I don't care about fame or money what bothers me are two things first you lied to me all this time and stopped me from advancing my research and second if you really just wanted to protect me you could've just done it without having to do all this so why? Your fame or me failing.

Lenia couldn't answer at all and frowned in shame knowing that most of what Marilyn said is true.

Marilyn looked at Lenia one more time before leaving the room truly disappointed at her, she just wishes she hadn't gone there today.

While on the other hand Lenia only thought that she was stupid for getting to distracted by the conversation and ending up saying unnecessary things even if she knows she would eventually have to say the truth this wasn't the best way to do it, actually it was almost the worst way.

Lenia:seriously what's up with my luck lately First people say that there's a possibility of a rank A thunder element monster starting to live in the tenku tenku forest and now this, give me a break please God. Also I expect this girl doesn't do anything too extreme arrrhhhh, why is everything going wrong for us lately even the monsters of the area started disappearing as if running away from something, more and more paper work keeps coming. WHY MEEEE!?!?!?!

(Marilyn POV)

I'm so frustrated right now how could she do this to me just like that, I considered a mother and she was actually only using arrrhhh I hate this so much, really why did I even wake up today?

Marilyn:my life as a researcher?! How will I achieve that now?

???:hey Marilyn what you doin?

I turn around still stressed and was about to let it out on this person but I stopped when I saw who it was. It's my best friend and also a researcher Isabelle crown.

Marilyn:oh Isabelle, well right now I'm not really in a talking mood so can we talk later.

I said with a with a fake smile and a fake happy expression.

Isabelle:really!?! We've been friends for 12 years and that's the best faking you can do? Please I could feel your sadness from kilometers away, now be a good friend and tell me what's up.

I guess I can't fool her at all huh.

Marilyn:it's just I discovered something and it's making me feel bad even tho it's not my fault I feel dumb for not noticing earlier but I don't really wanna talk about it.

Then Isabelle hit my head hard.

*pop*

Marilyn:ahhhh, that hurt you know.

I said while rubbing my head.

Isabelle:that's what you get for insulting my friend and I would proudly do it again cause your amazing actually your the best ever in the world so stop calling urself dumb cause of you ever call my friend dumb again I'll beat you till not even your mother can recognize you.

She said this while first looking straight in the eyes full of conviction and then hugged me real tight.

Really don't I have a too good friend for me. Sometimes I forget how blessed I am.

Marilyn:thank you so much your the best Who ever existed.

I said so with tears coming out but this time I had a smile it didn't solve my problem but at least makes me feel better.

Isabelle:at least you know that good.

She said with her an air of all high and mighty.

This girl really makes me wonder if I'm not older than her in reality.

Marilyn:anyways what were you doing here?

Isabelle:my brother's party is back to the city, and since ur always talking about seeing goblins and smiles in their natural habitat so I thought of asking if they could take us there and he agreed. Also stop thinking rude things about me.

Nooooo wayyyyy!!!!! Did she just say that!?!?!?

Marilyn:aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

I screamed of enthusiasm while Isabelle covered her ears before i started in anticipation of would happen. Also she can read my mind?

Isabelle:yes I can read your mind.

She said with an evil laugh.

Marilyn:ur dangerous.

Isabelle:and your weird, that's why we make a good pair.

I don't know how that makes us a good pair but that doesn't matter now cause we will go see goblins in their habitat this day keeps getting better because of Isabelle there really isn't another in this world.

Marilyn:so when are we going?

I said still very enthusiastic.

Isabelle:relax we have 2 hours to get ready.

Marilyn:so we have to go get the equipment right now.

As I said that I grabbed Isabelle's hand and we both went to my lab to get my equipment and not long after we arrived.

When we went inside we found my marvelous lab.

Isabelle:how do you work in this damp seriously and the smell it's simply disgusting, your a lady you know working in this conditions like some old creep really what's your problem? Don't you know the word hygiene? That's why lifestyle magic exists you know.

She said with a disgusted expression and tone and changed to an annoyed expression and tone by the end while looking at me.

Marilyn:what are you talking about this place is perfectly organized and it smell like home.

I say with great pride.

Isabelle:your a lost case but if your so sure then find your magical bag.

She said with a victorious expression and tone even before it started. This girl will see I'll show her the greatness of my sanctuary.

Marilyn:easy its right here.

I said while I point at a table with a blanket covering it. Then I get closer and pull the blanket only to the see a lot of glorious goblin organs scattered over the table.

Marilyn:it's weird I guess I confused the table so don't get too full of urself thinking you won.

I said while worried internally cause I'm not sure where I left my magical bag and those things are really expensive mine was 2 gold since I bought one of the cheat ones but it's actually really expensive considering some people only earn 5 bronze a day considering all life expanses. My salary is 20 silver monthly and my savings right now are of 7 gold and 30 silver, this is what I could save of the total of 4 years I worked as an apprentice researcher.

Marilyn:sometimes you sound like your not even a researcher where's your passion?

Isabelle:well I'm a passionate researcher I'm just not as much as you and I'm a monster researcher in general but I'm more interested in plant monsters their truly a work of art.

She said with a smile.

Marilyn:plants isn't that what weird researchers choose?

I said unintentionally.

Isabelle:says the goblin and smile lover.

She said while looking at me with a dead pan expression.

Marilyn:but they are amazing you just have to listen to me for a little while and-.

I was stopped by Isabelle and then she said.

Isabelle:not now, for now just find ur magical bag so that we can go If we take too long my brother won't wait forever.

After hearing her words i start to frenetically look for my magical bag everywhere like my life depends on it cause it kinda does but wasn't able to find it, after searching for an hour I still didn't find it at all and give up to beg Isabelle for help.

Marilyn:please my life will end if I don't find it.

I say this once again crying rivers of tears.

Isabelle:so now you understand my greatness huh.

Marilyn:of course your the greatest there is and I never had the right to doubt u.

Isabelle:sometimes you give in so easy it looses the fun, but I'll help you it's on your waist.
