Mir and Coco stood inside the void watching Alex.

Mir looked worried looking at Coco who was squatting down with a pale expression on her face.

"How is it?" Mir asked with concern.

Coco turned her face with a smile and said, "Just in time!"

Coco and Mir knew if the Nether Gate demon's aura left the universe, it might put Alex's life in danger. Even the gods wouldn't feel safe knowing a human possessing a higher bloodline than them. So Coco willed her universe to absorb the Aura leaked from Alex's body.

"Sigh! Since my Universe absorbed his Aura, the heavens will bless the demonic beasts more than the humans. The more he leaks his bloodline, the more the demonic beasts will become powerful." Coco sighed in worry.

Mir didn't have that worry as a m.a.t.u.r.e Spirit she used her knowledge to assure Coco, "Don't worry too much. As far as I know, humans only grow united and powerful under dire straits. So think of it as a test for humanity to grow." Coco also understood the situation. She knew Mir is a m.a.t.u.r.ed Universe Spirit and her words can be accurate at the situation.

"You're right! It's a good thing. I hope more humans ascend under the pressure to the higher plane and make my Universe proud." Coco replied.

James and the king left Alex inside the room leaving only Pam and her daughter Lily to take care of him while he was unconscious.

Both returned to the main hall where the King's guards were kneeling on the ground with an expression of fear and regret.

The princess and Rose stood near some servants who were present at the scene. Both tried to pry the information which happened an hour ago. After talking they got the gist of it.

The King sat in a higher seat than James and looked at the Soldiers with an expression of disgust.

James had an indifferent expression on the outside but only the people close to him know that he's raging inside. For the King, James is an important and indispensable asset of the kingdom. Losing him would strike the overall strength of the kingdom which he never wants to happen even in dreams. That's the main reason he wants to bind both families with marriage. He waited so many years just so his daughter could marry the heir of the Redforest family because that will ensure the safety of his position both externally and internally.

So hearing the actions of his guards made his blood boil. He called the servants up front and asked them to explain what happened from the start.

The female servants who were at the situation before explained how the guards made Lily and Pamela serve them alcohol. She even expressed how they enjoyed watching the little girl serve them. James was fuming in rage, the guards who were kneeling felt a humungous pressure trying to crush them into meat paste.

The King raised his hands and asked James to stop for a minute. He knew the guards wouldn't do something like this for no reason. It's clear that someone is behind this. He called the head guard-forward and asked in detail. The head guard who was sweating in fear didn't hide anything and revealed everything.

James's furious expression turned into shock after hearing from the guard. Princess Noel also explained what she learned from the servants and how she saw him leave the hall earlier. This must be because of his jealousy for his brother Alex.

The king felt like he was in a difficult situation. He looked at James to see how he was feeling.

Soon, Dylan was brought inside the hall. Dylan had an expression of fear, he saw how Alex reacted from the sidelines. It was the first time in his life, he felt this much fear. He now knows the gossips were actually true.

James watched his son Dylan with a pained expression. Before Alex showed his talent, James wanted Dylan to become the pillar of the Redforest family. With the leadership of Charles, he thought the future of Redforest family is in safe hands but now everything seems a lie. He never thought his seventh son had a twisted detestable behavior.

"Leaving the foundation of his family to him will only lead to its destruction" was the thought going through his mind.

James looked at Dylan and asked, "Is that true? You are the one behind all this"

Dylan was in a panic, he knew he was caught, but still, he tried to deny the claims.

"No Father! They are lying. I wasn't behind all this." he shouted in denial.

After hearing his shouted everyone shook their head including the princess. She knew now he fell deep in the hole.

The king asked, "Dylan you only came here now, how did you know what did they speak about you?"

His father James only asked whether it was true. If he was really innocent he would only act confused and ask what the claims were. His denial before hearing the conviction is the same as accepting the crimes. The princess couldn't believe someone from the aristocrats family would fell for something simple as this. Rose thought the petty thieves from the capitals are intelligent than him.

Dylan had a blank expression on his face. He knew he f.u.c.k.e.d up. He only wanted to insult Alex by using the guards to occupy his courtyard and lying that the mother and daughter pair were there to serve them. He didn't know Alex would kill them without mercy. More than the king and his father, he feared Alex. If he were to wake up and know that it was him behind this, probably he will have the same fate as the Guards.

He had thought of escaping the city but the summons from his father delayed the thought. Soon his mother ran inside and begged James for mercy. She knew how James treated his first wife with cruelty and his son wouldn't be better off in treatment.

Rose sighed looking at the begging mother. She knew this was the curse of the Aristocrat families. Because of situations like this, they wouldn't get attached too much even with their child. For them, the sons and daughters are for the better of the family and nothing else. All the life facing aristocrat children, Rose liked Alex because of his uniqueness.

The King looked at James for his decision.

"Brother, I don't want you to show an exception because he's my son. I'll have him accept the punishment you decide." James said.

Dylan looked shocked. James looked at his face and said, "Dylan, you are the person I thought of leaving the foundation of the family with. I believed you would be the person who would support the family after I left to travel. But you have disappointed me. So from on now you will lose your title of an aristocrat and be no different than a commoner." he said and looked at King to give his judgment.

The king sighed at James's ruthlessness, "Dylan the son of James for the crimes of being the mastermind behind the death of Duke's son and other Royal guards from on now will lose his aristocrat titles and will be jailed at the Dungeon for fifty years. Adding on, his cultivation will be crippled and after the fifty years sentence will become the servant of Duke's family." his judgment felt like a hammer strike on his head. Dylan's mother fainted on the spot.

Dylan had a lifeless look on his face. He knew he cannot escape his fate. He was slowly escorted by the City mansion's guards.

(Note: Only the Blood relations of the royal families would be awarded the title Duke. The others would be given the title City Lord and a Fief for their deeds. So the titles such as count, baron, viscount doesn't exist in the kingdom.)

"Brother, If you want I can change my punishment anytime." the king said to James.

"It's okay. Your judgment is correct. If not he would probably be killed by Alex. Whatever he did he's still my son, I don't want my son's trying to kill each other. So he would probably be safe inside the dungeon." the King sighed at James and said nothing.

The king then summoned Pam and Lily to the hall.

To the surprise of everyone, he apologized for the behavior of his guards. And his later sentence sent shock for everyone.

"With the consent of James, From on now, I'll be the Godfather of his daughter Lily and hence give her the title Princess." the King said.

Everyone was dumbfounded. Even Pam didn't know how to react. Lily didn't know what Godfather means so she looked at everyone with confusion.

Princess Noel had a shocked expression on her face. She looked at the cute little girl with a complicated expression. Rose felt the same as the princess.

The silence was destroyed after the maid announced the news of awakening Alex. James had an excited expression as he left the room with large strides. The king with a laugh followed him accompanying Princess and Rose.
