Yepong almost stood up due to anxiety and restlessness when he heard what Luang had said about his nephew's meridians.

Luang had already anticipated such a reaction from Yepong, so he secretly winked at him to remain silent.

Although Yepong didn't know what was happening but looking at Luang winking at him, Yepong knew it must not be something of a serious nature so he decided to play along and sat back on his seat.

Yenma was flabbergasted at what Senior Luang had said regarding his meridians so he didn't notice the silent talk between the two old men.

Luang then lightly coughed as he continued, "Well… too bad…your meridians are so twisted about that you won't even manage to revolve a strand of Zu Qi throughout your body...let alone cultivating."

Yenma didn't want to feel hopeless since he knew this was a cultivation-world, he was well aware that if he didn't cultivate he would be no different than the previous owner of his body and a loser.

"Senior… There has to be a way.", Yenma said but he started to feel inwardly melancholic. He knew that the previous owner of his body had crippled meridians due to birth-related defect. Originally Yenma knew that nothing could be done about it but after he suddenly became younger...he felt that perhaps he could cultivate! This hope was like a ray of light that descended into a dark room. Yenma felt that perhaps through cultivation he would leave behind his mark in history.

Yenma had never lived a content life in any of his previous lives. This had led to Yenma desiring strongly to leave behind a mark in history for the future generations to know that he, Virsil Yenma existed!

Senior Luang sighed and sighed again, "There is no hope… but for you I will make an exception."

Hearing this Yenma became all the more hopeful for cultivating, "Senior if you can solve my problem and make me able to cultivate, I will forever remember your kindness!"

Unknowingly Yenma's opinion of the 'old fart' had undergone a whole 180 degree change.

Luang looked as if in deep thought but inwardly he was so happy that he almost burst out laughing.

Yenma felt excited, "Senior I'm willing to become your disciple and learn from you."

Luang nodded, "Great. Now go pack up any belongings that you might have and report here tomorrow morning. From now onwards, you are my disciple!"

Yenma was joyous but at the same time he was a bit confused. 'Didn't Senior Luang previously say that even if I managed to pass all the three tests he would only take me as a disciple in name? How come he suddenly decided to take me in as a proper disciple and impart me the knowledge of cultivation?'

Although Yenma felt something was off, he didn't think too deeply about it. From his point of view, what mattered was whether he would be able to cultivate or not.

After Yenma left back for Tin Family Residence, Luang's poker face finally broke out into a broad smile.

"Senior Luang… Until now you have only accepted three of my sons as your disciples. Out of which only my oldest son is a proper disciple while the rest are only disciple in name. I remember how many tests Lin had to undergo to finally be accepted as your true disciple but now that I bring my nephew here, he was accepted almost immediately. What is going on really?", Tin Yepong said as he smiled. He knew that his nephew should definitely be an exceptional talent since even the 'cold-hearted' Luang accepted him in so warmly.

Luang laughed but didn't elaborate.

Yepong laughed dryly as he then started to talk about the real reason for his meet with Luang.
