"So that's how it is.", Luang said gently as he tapped his fingers on the arm-rest of his chair.

"Many of my elite guards lost their lives due to that vicious beast! I believe it is a demonic beast and hence I ask Senior to aid us.", Yepong said. He knew he and his force stood no chance against a demonic beast, only a cultivator could help them out.

"Klova cave was it? Don't worry…Hearing your description of the beast, I think the beast is still young and has not truly ascended to become a demonic beast. If it tries to leave the cave, I will kill it immediately.", Luang said as he reassured Yepong.

"Yawn* Litter Brother, I think you don't need to worry about anything now, just relax. I will be off now to the bed… Next time don't wake me up so early in the morning.", Luang grumbled as he went back to his bed to sleep and within the next few moments snoring sounds could be heard in the cottage.

Since Yepong's issue was already handled, he had no reason to remain in the cottage so he took his leave and proceeded back to Sirgil village.

Yenma sat on his bed and looked around his courtyard with a blank look. Originally he was supposed to pack up his belongings and report to the Senior Luang's abode the next morning but only now did Yenma seem to realize… He had no belongings.

"Chuck it...", Yenma mumbled as he went back to sleep.

Tin Family Main Hall.

Tin Yepong was seated on the main seat while he addressed the a.d.u.l.ts within the family.

"Since Yesei's son has come back to the family, we must hold the Ancestral Worship Ceremony a bit earlier than the previously decided date. Senior Luang has already accepted him as his disciple and this is truly great news. Yenma would have to leave tomorrow morning so I have decided that we hold the Ancestral Worship tomorrow early in the morning so that Yenma's place in the family is made official and his name is mentioned in the family records.", Yepong spoke as he gently stroked his beard.

The assembled crowd grew excited upon hearing this news. Which family would not be happy when a member of their family officially stepped onto the path of cultivation?

One middle-aged man among the crowd who was a branch-family descent couldn't help but exclaim out, "Our Tin Family originally had only one cultivator: Tin Lin, the oldest son of the family head and now we will gain another cultivator in the family! It seems like the Tin Family is bound to rise and always remain prosperous."

The others among the crowd nodded inwardly and felt proud in being the members of Tin Family.

"Looks like everyone agrees to prepone the date of the Ancestral Worship, then prepare for the necessary and ensure that everyone is present for tomorrow's ceremony.", Yepong said as he then dismissed the crowd.

Yenma was abruptly woken up by the knocking at the door of his courtyard.

"Hmm..? 'Uncle' Yepong what are you doing here? There is still some time before I leave for Senior Luang's abode.", Yenma yawned.

"Didn't you receive a letter stating that we are holding the Ancestral Worship today early in the morning?", Yepong asked curiously.

"Huh. Yeah a servant did deliver me a letter last night…but I was too sleepy so I didn't read it.", Yenma looked right into Yepong's eyes as if he didn't do anything wrong.

"Huh… Well anyways, get dressed and come with me to the Ancestral Hall. Every year around this time our family holds the Ancestral Worship Ceremony in the remembrance of our ancestors to show our love and respect for all that they have done for us and the family.", Yepong explained the importance of the family's Ancestral Worship.

Although Yenma felt a bit reluctant he still got dressed and accompanied behind Yepong as he did want to personally bear witness to such a ceremony.

Tin Family Ancestral Hall.

The Ancestral Worship started with silence and burning of incenses.

The Hall maintained an atmosphere of tranquility and holiness.

As the assembled crowd looked at the Memorial Tablets of their ancestors in the Hall, there was respect evident in their eyes.

The Ancestral Worship was in fact more like a silent worship, where their emotions spoke more than their words.

After the worship came to an end, Yepong brought Yenma towards the Ancestral Memorial Tablets, "Yenma kowtow to your ancestors three times and light the incense and with that you would formally become a part of the family and your name will written in the family records.", Yepong spoke with seriousness.

Yenma showed no hesitation as he proceeded to burn the incense and kowtow before the Memorial Tablets. Yenma was not the type of person who would strongly hold onto his pride and refuse to kneel and kowtow before anyone else.

For Yenma to cultivate, his identity as a direct-descendant of the Tin Family played a major role and since he decided to proceed with this act, he might as well proceed with it till the end and not stop in the middle.

Yepong nodded as he looked how 'Filial' Yenma was. He then took Yenma towards a Memorial Tablet to his left and said, "Yenma, this is the Memorial Tablet of my father: Tin ZeKe, the previous Family Head and also your grandfather."

"The names in many of the other Memorial Tablets cannot be read clearly as the Tablets have worn down due to time but nevertheless, remember: Our Tin Family has rich history and you should always feel proud of it."

Yepong then took Yenma towards another Memorial Tablet, the tablet looked old but the name on it was clearly visible.

"This Memorial Tablet is of my grandfather's and your great-grandfather's: Tin Guangfu."
