Human Realm and Demon Realm (2)

An empty area without vegetation had been cleared out around where the demon eye was, and there was a human camp set up a little farther away. At the moment, there were several five-star mages and more low-level mages there.

Anna couldn’t look away when she saw the demon eye for the first time.

It was similar in appearance and magnetic draw to The Abyss… This demon eye really had a strong relationship with The Abyss!

Compared with The Abyss in the Demon Realm, this demon eye was rather small. Its diameter seems to be about ten meters.

Anna touched Rothgarr’s arm, and whispered as he looked over, “It’s really like The Abyss.”

Rothgarr nodded. He frowned again and looked in that direction; he didn’t expect this demon eye to be so similar to The Abyss.

Suddenly, Rothgarr hugged Anna tightly and flew straight up.

But the canopy of the tree they were on was completely sliced off.

Amidst the loud noise and smoke from the falling canopy, someone angrily shouted: “Demon, you still dare to come, do you want to do a sneak attack?”

Rothgarr glanced around. There were only two five-star mages here, and it would take at least ten seconds for the ones from farther away to come over. He had more than enough time to do something before leaving.

If Anna wasn’t in his arms, and he didn’t promise her to try not to kill people.

Rothgarr hugged Anna close and said to her: “You saw it, now can we go back?”

Anna didn’t want to leave so soon, she said she wanted to take a look, but she really only took a single look! But now that they had been discovered by the five-star mages, they had no choice but to leave, so she had no choice but to say, “Okay.”

Rothgarr avoided the attack from the five-star mage, summoned the teleportation portal in mid-air, and entered with Anna in his arms.

Back in the gloomy Demon Realm, Anna was a little depressed.

She originally wanted to see how the demon eye swelled, but she was forced to come back after only one glance. She only looked at it statically, and had no idea how fast the demon eye swelled.

Rothgarr glanced at Anna’s frustrated look, and warned, “I’ve fulfilled my promise, don’t play tricks like this again.”

Anna glanced at him without promising anything. Why not play tricks if she could achieve her goal?

Seeing her reaction, Rothgarr didn’t know what she meant. He sneered and said, “Next time you play that kind of trick, not only will you not succeed, but you will only be asking for trouble. If you don’t believe me, just try.”

Anna’s expression changed slightly when she thought of the “hardship” she had suffered after her success.

She turned her head and walked upstairs. She was hungry and planned to eat first.

Rothgarr only took this as her backing down, and followed behind slowly.

When Anna was preparing food for herself, she still couldn’t help thinking about the demon eye.

The demon eye was so similar to The Abyss. Plus, with what she encountered in The Abyss before, it was hard for her not to think that the source of this matter lay in The Abyss. To solve the problems of the Human Realm, maybe she didn’t have to go to the Human Realm. Maybe she could try it in the Demon Realm.

But The Abyss was too far away. If she wanted to sneak out, Rothgarr would catch her within a short distance. And when he was doing nothing all day long and barely leaving her side, she actually couldn’t find a chance to escape at all.

So, in the end, he still had to be persuaded to go to The Abyss again.

Anna had just finished eating when she was picked up by Rothgarr as he walked out.

His expression was indifferent: “You finished eating, it’s my turn.”

Anna: “…”

Since the lifting of the ban, Rothgarr had no scruples. Looking back at her past self who said, “Let’s do it”, she was so naive.

When everything subsided, the night star had risen into the sky, and Anna curled up in Rothgarr’s arms, unable to fall asleep despite being physically exhausted.

She looked up at Rothgarr and said worriedly: “The Abyss looks so similar to the demon eye… Is there something wrong with The Abyss? If that’s the case, the Demon Realm won’t be able to survive either.”

Rothgarr said, “No matter what happens, I won’t let you get hurt.”

Anna wanted to say more, but Rothgarr pressed Anna’s head against his chest, threatening: “If you don’t want to do it again, go to sleep.”

Anna immediately shut up and stopped moving.

Rothgarr hugged Anna tightly, his face a bit cold.

He listened to Anna’s words. Even he thought the same when he saw something wrong with the demon eye.

If even the Demon Realm would be in trouble…

The next day, just after breakfast, Rothgarr told her to stay put, and then went out.

Was somebody coming?

Anna was not willing to listen, and immediately followed him out.

Rothgarr flew into the air after walking out of the castle. She looked up, and it turned out that the person who came was Balan.

Balan had come here once during the time that Rothgarr had just rescued Anna and she was still unconscious. At that time, he saw that Rothgarr had rescued her, but he was in a bad mood. He told him to not do anything to Anna even if he was angry, and then left to go back to his own castle.
