Human Realm (3)

Leon opened his mouth to say that he didn’t go to the Demon Realm to save her for that reason, but he couldn’t get it out of his mouth at the moment.

“Leon, it turns out that you and this human traitor once had a teacher-student relationship.” Raymond came over at some point and mocked.

The relationship between Raymond and Leon was not good even before Rothgarr had possessed him, and he was very happy if he could make Leon unhappy.

Anna turned her head to look at Raymond. She was full of emotion seeing his familiar face. Rothgarr had used this body to “pursue” her; this feeling was really amazing.

“So what if Mage Leon did? You had an intimate relationship with me, a human traitor; that is far beyond the teacher-student relationship.” Anna rebutted Raymond’s words bluntly. If he wanted to satirize Leon in front of her, he could dream on.

Raymond glared at Anna. Of course he knew that his body had been possessed by the demon. His servant also told him that during his possession, he had close contacts with a commoner mage named Anna, but that Anna disappeared later. He deliberately pretended not to know anything.

But some time ago, Anna reappeared in Black Cloud City. She had attracted a demon here, and was then captured by it. The name Anna reappeared in his life. As someone who was involved in the matter, he easily became a part of the Demon Realm investigation team, staying behind in the Human Realm to meet them.

Now, Anna, whose name he had only heard before, was brought back from the Demon Realm, and he even heard that in the Demon Realm, she helped the wounded and unconscious demon escape. Thus, he decided that she was a human traitor. In addition, Leon looked very familiar with Anna, so he couldn’t help but come over and ridicule him. He and Leon had always been at odds. If Leon was unhappy, he was happy.

But he didn’t expect to be ridiculed so much by Anna, a commoner mage and human traitor!

“That was the demon. It has nothing to do with me!” Raymond refuted angrily.

Anna looked at him and smiled very delicately: “Really? It was your body he used…”

Anna’s words didn’t really mean anything serious, but paired with her subtle expression, it was extremely easy to make people think of other meanings. Raymond blushed with anger.

Raymond glared at Anna but couldn’t say anything.

What the hell did that damned demon do with his body to this commoner mage! But he had no memory at all, which really made him anxious and angry!

“What the demon did has nothing to do with me!” Raymond threw down a harmless retort, turned his head and walked away.

Anna couldn’t help but smile seeing Raymond running away in a panic. She smiled at Leon’s hesitant gaze and said, “Actually nothing happened, I just wanted to anger him.”

Even under such circumstances, Leon still couldn’t help laughing. Anna seemed to always be this kind of person, always very optimistic.

“Leon, you don’t need to worry about me here.” Seeing that some of the five-star mages were looking over at them frequently, Anna didn’t want to cause any trouble to Leon, so she chased him away, “I want to sit by myself for a while.”

“…Okay.” Leon really had no position to say anything, so he could only leave.

Anna said that she would sit for a while, but in fact there was a mage beside her watching her. She didn’t pay them any mind. She sat down cross-legged, closed her eyes and meditated.

Of course, because her mental power was imprisoned, meditation had no effect. She was just passing the time.

After an unknown amount of time, there was a commotion ahead. Anna suddenly opened her eyes, and saw Balan spreading his wings in midair, looking down at the group of human mages.

He saw Anna who was tied up at the rear but alive, and he was slightly relieved.

A group of demonic creatures rushed to his castle with an unconscious Rothgarr just now, and he recognized that the rat at the head was a demonic creature that liked to farm outside Rothgarr’s castle. After they communicated, Balan came to find that a group of mages broke into Rothgarr’s castle, and that they happened to run into Rothgarr and Anna coming back from an outing. Rothgarr returned with injuries, while Anna stayed behind to protect Rothgarr.

After Balan learned that Rothgarr had signed a soul contract with Anna, he no longer thought about hurting Anna. Now that he learned that she sacrificed herself and stayed behind for Roth, his perception of her improved greatly.

So after briefly taking care of Roth, he rushed over. He would bring back Anna, who was willing to sacrifice herself for Roth!

But after glancing around, Balan frowned. It might be difficult.

There were too many five-star mages here.

Balan would never let himself be surrounded by this many five-star mages; he knew what his limits were. He wouldn’t be like Roth. Sometimes, it was good to escape when you obviously can’t fight, but he would have to fight a round before he was willing to leave.

The Human Realm had so many places to play that didn’t have five-star mages; why bother with five-star mages?

But the current situation was a situation where he could not easily leave.

After Balan appeared, the human mages quickly stood on guard, but no one moved yet.

He also didn’t make a move. Instead, Balan looked at the red-clothed bishop who was obviously the leader and said with a smile: “The Human Realm and the Demon Realm don’t get into each other’s business. Hand over the human and I can overlook your crime of forcibly breaking into a Grand Duke of The Abyss’ castle.”

He pointed to Anna.

The appearances of the Grand Dukes of The Abyss were different. Bishop Christopher recognized that this was not the demon he had seen, and guessed that that demon was likely still unconscious, which was why he wasn’t here. This demon must be the one that Anna said would come to rescue her.
