Re:Start In Pokemon

Taiwu sent a Seaking to the field. Upon seeing his opponent took the lead in sending pokemon, Sam didn't waste time and sent Gengar to the field. As soon as Gengar came to the field, the audience felt a chill running down their spine. Gengar is getting better at controlling ghost.

"Seaking, attack with Water Gun." Taiwu

"Gengar, dodge." Sam

Seaking spew out a powerful Water Gun from its mouth but Gengar dodged it easily.

"Now, Hypnosis" As soon as Sam said this, Gengar's eyes shone with strange rays of light and Seaking fell asleep.

"Dream Eater." Sam ordered and Gengar came towards Seaking and emitted special power to extract Seaking's physical strength. Soon Seaking fainted due to lack of strength.

"Seaking is unable to battle, asks Taiwa contestant to change the pokemon." Referee said after looking at fainted Seaking.

"You may have defeated Seaking easily but don't think you can do the same with my other pokemon. Go, Golduck." Taiwu took back Seaking and sent Golduck.

"Golduck hide in water." Golduck quickly swam under the water surface. "Now you can't attack Golduck. This battle I won." said Taiwu confidently.

"Who said I can't attack Golduck underwater. Gengar use Thunderbolt on the whole water surface." said Sam. Gengar condensed electricity between his hands and then sent it to the water surface. Electricity flashed all over the water field and after a while Golduck came out of water surface fainted.

"Golduck is unable to battle. Please ask Taiwu contestant to change the pokemon." Referee announced.

Taiwu gritted his teeths and sent his last pokemon, "Come out, Slowpoke" "Gengar, Hypnosis then Dream Eater." Gengar repeated the same actions as he did with Seaking and Slowpoke also fainted after being hit by Dream Eater.

"Slowpoke is unable to battle, Sam of Pallet town wins." Referee announced the result.

"Sam!" "Sam!" "Sam!" Audience got excited upon seeing the overbearing style of Sam and Gengar and kept cheering. Sam returned from the field under the cheers of audience.

In next three days, Sam played on grass, ice and rock field each day and defeated all his opponents with Gengar only.

Ash and Gary also passed preliminary round and advanced to top sixteen. The next day Sam entered the Indigo stadium with fifteen other trainers and attended the ceremony.

Sam's match was in afternoon but Ash had a match in morning so Sam sat down in audience with Vivi, Brock, Misty and watched Ash's match.

Ash's opponent was same as in anime. Ritchie who had same pokemons as Ash but Ash still won the match. Next Sam went to the stadium wearing cape and his opponent also came at the same time.

Sam's opponent was Dave, who, according to commentator, had reached top eight i. last years Indigo league.

"Your Gengar is strong but you won't be able to defeat me." said Dave.

"We will see about it." Sam replied.

"Both contestants can use three pokemons each. And both the contestants can replace their pokemon only once. The contestant whose all three pokemons fainted first will lose and the winner will advance to the quarter finals of the league." Referee announced the rules after Sam and Dave had reached there positions.

Both Dave and Sam threw out pokeball at the same time tactically. Dave sent out Alakazam and Sam sent Exeggutor. The first round of their match turned into psychic confrontation.
