"Exeggutor, Grassy Terrain then spread Seed Bomb all over the field." A green ray of light flashed from Exeggutor's legs and went into the ground, soon the field changed to grass field. Then Exeggutor shooted several Seed Bombs from its head and spread them all over the field. The Seed Bombs got hidden in the grass and can't be found at all.

"Alakazam, Psycho Cut." Alakazam waved the spoon in his hand and formed multiple blades condensed of psychic energy in the air and sent them towards Exeggutor. Exeggutor got hit while spreading Seed Bombs and packed out few steps.

"Alakazam, Teleport near Exeggutor and use Fire Punch." Alakazam condensed fire energy at his right hand and Teleport behind Exeggutor to hit it with Fire Punch. But just as Alakazam was about to hit Exeggutor, a explosion happened at the feet of Alakazam blasting it out. It was the Seed Bomb hidden in the grass that exploded.

"Exeggutor, now don't give Alakazam a chance to act. Use Bullet Seed followed by Leaf Storm." Exeggutor roared and spewed seeds from three of its heads at high speed towards Alakazam was still in air and then sent out lage amount of leaves towards Alakazam without giving it a chance to block. Alakazam was hit with series of moves and fainted.

"Alakazam is unable to battle. Please ask Dave contestant to replace the pokemon." Referee said after looking at fainted Alakazam.

"Come back Alakazam. Go Arcanine." Dave sent Arcanine in place of Alakazam but it was also defeated by Exeggutor using Seed Bombs that it laid at the beginning.

"Arcanine is unable to battle. Please ask Dave contestant to replace the pokemon." Referee said.

"Your strategy is good but it will only work if a pokemon is battling on the ground. Go Beedrill." Dave said and threw a pokeball.

"You are right but...I don't plan to keep using Exeggutor. He has already done his job by defeating two of your pokemons. Come back, Exeggutor." said Sam and took out another pokeball from his belt.

"Go, Charizard" Charizard came out of pokeball and flew straight into the sky.

"Beedrill, Twineedle" Dave commanded.

"Charizard, Flamethrower" Sam said camly. Beedrill came near Charizard with enlarged stings. Charizard looked at incoming Beedrill, snorted and collected fire energy in its mouth, then sent a powerful Flamethrower towards Beedrill. Beedrill resisted for a while but then crashed down on ground and fainted.

Audience saw that Charizard defeated Beedrill with just one move and exploded.

"Charizard!!" "Charizard!!" "Charizard!!"

"Sam!!" "Sam!!" "Sam!!"

"Beedrill is unable to battle, contestant Sam wins and advances to Quarter finals." Referee announced. Sam and Dave thenn shook hands and left the stadium.

Sam went to rest back in his room as he us not interested in next match. Gary's match will be held tomorrow but according to the anime Gary will lose. But still I will go cheer him.
