Resurrected As A Sith Lord: A Star Wars Story

Chapter 5 - Order of the Dark Jedi

They arrived on Ruusan a week after fleeing Tython and the Jedi Order, beginning their new life. They had traveled to different planets, before making the last stop here to ensure that the Jedi wouldn't be able to find them so easily. When they had made planet fall, they paid the man that brought them here, then erased any memories of them he had and made him travel to several other planets before finally going back to his normal life.

The planet Ruusan at the time was a mining planet for its rich ore deposits, and it was under the control of the mining guild. Pall and his followers subjected the miners to there will for the time being until they decided what to do with the workers, but for the time being they continued their work as normal to keep up the appearance of nothing wrong.

It was mid-morning when Jason had stirred from his sleep in his prefab hut. He looked around to get his surroundings like he usually does every morning. When he looked around, his padawans bed was already made. She had been rising earlier in the morning than him since they arrived here.

'She must be training again, tch, that girl is never going to learn, rest is needed every once and a while' Jason said to himself. He crawled out of bed and stretched out the kinks in his body and got changed into clean clothes and left the hut.

Their camp had been set up near one of the quarries, so that they could keep an eye on the workers, and to stay close to communications relay to know when sh.i.p.s would be coming. While Jason was walking around and watching the workers in the quarry, a young padawan ran up to Jason.

'Master Jason, Master Pall has sent me to tell you that him and the rest of the masters were waiting for you at the relay station' the young padawan said, trying to catch his breath.

'Thank you Kanon, I will head that way right now' Jason said putting a hand on Kanon's shoulder. Kanon was a male human born on Corellia. He was twenty years old, with shaggy blonde hair with pale blue eyes. He was of average build and stood about six-foot-one. His master was Remulus Dreypa, a true devout follower of Ajunta Pall.

Dreypa was a human male who was much like his padawan, expect he had short black hair and green eyes. He also had one of the worst tempers you could find in the Jedi Order, and had no feelings or emotions for anyone. Dreypa's abilities in the force were as deadly as his temper, as he was quite skilled in the force power Convection, the ability to alter his body's chemistry allowing him to set his skin on fire to use as a defensive and offensive capabilities.

'No problem, Master Jason' Kanon slightly bowed his head to Jason, and then took off towards the quarry. A lot of the padawans had been spending time there learning from the workers and working as well seeing it as a form of training to them. Jason started heading towards the relay station, wondering what the meeting could be about.

When he got there, all fifty-six of the Jedi that held the rank of Master were gathered inside the main control room of the station. At the center of the room where the holo-table was located, stood Ajunta Pall, Remulus Dreypa, XoXaan, Karness Muur, and Sorzus Syn. They were all devout followers of Pall, and gladly embraced his teachings of combining alchemy and the force.

XoXaan was a human female with white alabaster skin, pale grey eyes and long black hair. She was taller than the average female height being five-foot-eleven, and she had elongated fingers as well that gave her a scary appeal to her already ghostly visage. Her prowess in the force stood amongst the other masters around the table as she as particularly skilled in healing through use of the force. She could enhance the blood and cell regeneration to anyone, almost immediately curing anything from simple to major wounds. She even told the Jedi council once that she had found a way to return the dead back to life. The council quickly dismissed her findings and banned her research into it any further.

Next was Sorzus Syn. She was human female, with red eyes that could almost glow in the dark some would say, short brown hair, and fair tan skin. She wasn't tall like XoXaan and was average height for a human female. Sorzus was strong in the force and was already trained to use before the Jedi even came to recruit her into the order. Sorzus came from a long line of force witches from Hapes, that used the force combined with magic that was passed down through her family.

Lastly was Karness Muur, he was a male Arkanian off-shoot, with balding brown hair and vibrant orange eyes. Muur was never one for the Jedi's teachings or beliefs. At first, he was loyal to the Jedi Order, but after discovering his findings of animal mutation and force enhancements on creatures, he fell to the dark side of the force. Pall knew of his experiments but chose to hide them from the Jedi Order because he was just like him with his experiments. They became friends and rivals after their mutual understanding of the force.

Those three, along with Remulus Dreypa and Ajunta Pall would become the first Dark Lords of the Sith after the hundred-year-darkness. They would be the ones that would pave the way for all future Jedi and others with evil intentions to walk down the path of the dark side of the force. They were the founders of the Sith, and Jason had two options right now. Join them or destroy them. He considered destroying them here and taking their power, and maybe he could be strong enough to destroy Abeloth. Or he could join them and fight alongside them in this war for the time being learning all their powers and techniques.

He weighed his options before him, and decided it be best to train and learn more and start looking for ways to destroy Abeloth. Jason had tried to search through the app on his datapad about Abeloth while on the ride to Ruusan, but everything had been redacted from it. He also couldn't remember anything about her other than the time they spent in the in-between worlds place.

When Jason walked into the room, Pall acknowledged his arrival and began speaking.

'Alright, now that we are all here, there are somethings we need to discuss. It has been a week since we left the Jedi Order, and thankfully they haven't discovered our location, but that is only a matter of time until that happens. So, before they can bring the fight to us, we will bring it to them' Pall said with a charismatic voice towards his fellow masters.

A lot of the masters began talking amongst themselves about Pall's plan to attack the Jedi Order, which also meant the Republic as well. They were all skeptical about how they would do this as there was only about a hundred and fifty of them left after the battle on Tython.

'With what army do you plan on doing this with Master Pall?' Jason had spoken up from the crowd asking the obvious question they were all wanting to know.

'I'm glad you asked that question, Master Jason. My plan is to use our findings of combing alchemy, magic and the force to create an army of creatures to fight our battles. Between myself, Master Muur and Master XoXaan, our experiments would rival that of the Republics army and starsh.i.p.s.' Pall was saying with great pride in his voice, knowing he would finally get to use the force as he saw fit without question.

'Master Pall, we know your findings have been successful before, but the numbers you are talking about, is that possible for us to achieve?' One of the masters had said speaking out, curious about the plan.

Pall had pulled out a black leather-bound book from his robes, holding it above his head. 'Worry not my brothers and sisters. Everything we need is here in my journal, for which we will use to free us from the chains of the Jedi Order. Be able to do whatever it is we d.e.s.i.r.e with no regrets. We are the true keepers of the force. The force has guided us here, to be the tools to manipulate life, evolving to perfection' Pall had said using the force to enhance his charisma with his followers.

After all the masters had come to agreement with Pall's plan, he laid out the plan for them. They would first use the miners here as their foot soldiers, turning them into their slaves of the dark side. After that, they would travel to the nearby planet, Taanab, to use Pall's alchemy on the animals there, turning them into beast of war for their army. Then they would attack the nearest military base and using those resources to fuel their army even more.

It would take a little time to prepare all of this as those would need to study Pall's techniques to be able to create and control the dark side spawn army. They were dismissed and told to inform the knights and young padawans about the plan and begin training and preparing for war.

Jason left the meeting and went to search for his padawan. He asked a few of the other padawans that were around the quarry if they had seen her. One of the padawans that was around her age said that she was about a mile north training along a river that ran down to the quarry they were in. He thanked the young padawan and took off in search of his padawan.

Jason had walked for about fifteen minutes before he found Amara. She was standing in the middle of the river practicing with her proto saber. She had been here every day since arriving to this planet, training in solitude. She would leave before her master awoke and return after he had fallen asleep. They hadn't seen each other that much since being here, which started to concern him a little.

She hadn't noticed him walking up yet as she was deep into her concentration of her footing and balance. She was training in Jason's fighting style, practicing her parries and blocks as if she was sparring with someone. The emotions that she was giving off were that of a small child, scared and separated from the world. Jason hadn't sensed this from her until now, when she thought she was alone and had let her walls down.

'Amara' Jason said as stepped out of the tree line from where he was standing while he watched her.

Startled, she lost her footing almost falling backwards into the water. 'Hello, master' she said with a timid voice, cl.i.c.k.i.n.g off her proto saber.

'What are you doing up here? You're going to catch a cold in those wet clothes' Jason said walking towards her. She stepped back a couple of steps, as if he she was a wounded animal being stalked by a predator. Jason stopped in his tracks when he saw the fear in her eyes. She was afraid of him, of how he lost control back on Tython.

'Amara, what is wrong my padawan' Jason said as he took a step and outstretched a hand to her.

'Stay back!' She yelled at him, taking another step back. 'I don't want you anywhere near me master' she said staring at him, trying to hold back the tears that started building up in her eyes. She tried to look at him in the eyes, but she couldn't without seeing the darkness in his eyes just like before on Tython. 'Master just leave me alone' she said as she took off in the opposite direction of him towards the woods.

Jason was in shock of what Amara said to him. The pain that she was feeling was because of him, and that made him sick to his stomach. He stood there for a while in silence thinking about his actions as of late. Agreeing to work for Abeloth, then pretty much betraying her after he got here. Instigating the start of Hundred-Year-Darkness confrontation between Pall and the Jedi Order. Allowing the taint of the dark side of the force overcome him and striking down that fellow master in anger to save his padawan.

He left the area where he found his padawan and took a walk up the river to clear his head, and to think about what he was feeling currently. When he saw Amara scared like, it brought a pain to his heart that he hadn't felt about her before, until he started to feel like maybe he had feelings for her. Before long he had walked for 2 hours without even thinking about it and had come upon a water fall that appeared to be hiding a cave behind it. There was a strong connection to the force that he could sense in it.

He walked into the cave and found that the walls were lined with opalescent crystals, that seemed to contain force energy in them. The cave was a strong focal point for harnessing and focusing the force, that Jason decided to meditate here and see where the force would guide him. Jason began communing with the force trying to seek answers from it, when suddenly he got flicked on the forehead by somebody. He opened his eyes and before him was an elderly man with a long beard and long flowy grey robes.

Jason immediately jumped backwards onto his feet and drawing his proto saber taking a fighting stance. 'Who are you mister? And how did you manage to sneak up on me without me sensing you?' Jason asked startled scanning around making sure no one else was around.

'Please Jason, there isn't a need for that here, I'm not here to fight you, but to help you.' The old man said straightening back up and crossing his arms smiling at Jason.

'And how do you know my name?' Jason said raising an eyebrow and gripping his saber hilt tighter.

'Jason, do you really need to ask who I am? Or are you just wanting me to confirm your suspicions?' The old man said with a smile. 'Very well, I am the celestial known as Father.'

Shock came across Jason's face at hearing him say that. He had finally been discovered by the Celestials since being brought here. 'So, I guess you are here to kill me then huh?' Jason said deactivating his proto saber, accepting his fate.

'No Jason, I'm not here to kill you. In fact, I need you to keep doing what you're doing for the mean time.' The old man had said keeping that same smile on his face.

Jason couldn't believe what he just heard. 'I'm sorry, you want me to keep doing what Abeloth wants? To get stronger and help her destroy the galaxy to get revenge on you' Jason said with a confused look on his face.

'Precisely' the old man said.

'Okay, I'm really confused here. Why do you want me to do this exactly' Jason said trying to figure out this old man's plan.

'Jason, I can sense the conflict in you. You are struggling with who you are now and with who you used to be. That is because the Font of Power is ever corrupting those that would drink from it. That is the turmoil within you, and it will always be there, but you can overcome it, but it will not be easy. Now as for why I want you to continue with the plan, is because I want you to fight against her when the time comes when she uses you to break free from her prison. And I want you to use this on her' the old man said as he pulled out of his robes the Mortis Blade and reached out to give to Jason.

Jason's jaw dropped when the old man presented the Mortis Blade to him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, the Mortis Blade was a small dagger and is said to be the only thing to be able to kill a celestial. 'Why are you giving this to me? I was murdered by her and brought here to help her destroy this galaxy' Jason said explaining to the old man.

'Yes, I am aware your situation young one. You are here because of a mistake that I made so long ago, and then was foolish enough to not remedy it then. So, I ask this of you now, take this blade, become strong, and defeat Abeloth' the old man said looking at Jason now with a serious face losing the smile.

'And what makes you think that I will be able to do it? You already said that the water from the fountain has already corrupted me. And I can sense her, hear her in the back of my head sometimes. She still has a hold over me somehow. What if I fail to destroy her? I can't live knowing that I would be the reason that she wins. I'm not strong enough old man.' Jason said pleading with the old man.

'It is because of that fear in you, that you will not fail. You know what the risk are, that is why you won't fail, and I also have faith that you will do what needs to be done for the fate of the galaxy. So, what is that you humans are always saying, may the force be with you, well in this case, may I be with you' the old man said letting out a small chuckle.

Jason just stared at this man, confused on how he could make a joke at a time like this. He continued staring into the old man's eyes, and he could see that the old man was being truthful about everything he was telling him. Jason finally nodded and took the blade from the old man. When he grasped it, he could feel the immense power running through the blade coursing into his hand then through his body. When Jason looked back up, the old man was gone just how he arrived without a trace.
