Jason left the Meditation Gardens to walk around the temple thinking about the events that would soon unfold. He wondered how he should handle the current situation.

'Should I inform a youngling to have them tell the council? No that won't work, can't trust a child with this important matter. Maybe I could just do it myself? No that's too risky putting myself into the situation' Jason said to himself thinking about the best course of action.

Jason continued walking around the temple trying to come up with a way to start the conflict that he needed, when he got the idea of checking his super awesome app that might give him a clue as to what's going to happen. When he got to his room, he waved his hand to pick up the datapad from his desk and lay down on the bed.

'Alright, let's see what you got for me wookiepedia' he said to himself as he opened the app and started searching for information. When he got to the page he needed, he noticed that it had changed from the last time he read from the other night.

'What th-, this can't be right. Why is the information changed!' he said worried about what was going on. As he was scrolling through the page, the thought crossed his mind. 'Am I changing events by being here? Am I causing things to happen differently now that I'm here?' he said now worried that he wasn't going to know what was going to happen now.

The page originally read that Ajunta Pall would strike the first blow, but now it's saying the Jedi strike first causing Ajunta Pall to retaliate causing the One hundred-year-darkness to happen. Jason kept searching through the app trying to make sure this wasn't just some kid back on earth editing the page or anyone else messing with him but couldn't find anything. Before he was about to put the datapad down he noticed that he had a message notification that he hadn't read. He clicked on it opening it and was a message from Abeloth from the other night, and it read…

"Jason, I have uploaded the wookiepedia app on your datapad to help you with your time here, but be warned, you're actions can cause the timeline to change so be careful or you will find yourself somewhere completely different in the future."

'That bitch!' Jason yelled at the message on the datapad. 'She could have told me this shit was going to happen. How am I supposed to proceed now with what I know now to what I use to know' he said talking out loud to himself.

After he sat there looking at the message reading it over and over, the thought ran across his mind, that what else has he all changed. He frantically went back to the app and started going through all the big events that he could remember everything about making sure that they were still all the same. After looking for a few hours, he found that nothing had changed, and that because the one-hundred-year-darkness still took place, that nothing major had changed, yet.

'How did I not know that this would happen? Like for f.u.c.ks sake, I have read stories like this online where person goes to some other place and then change almost everything in the original story. But for this to happen, and to me of all people, just f.u.c.k. How could I be so stupid' Jason said sitting on the floor by his bedside hating himself.

He sat there in silence for awhile trying to determine his best course of action. 'F.u.c.k it, I'm here now. I can either keep doing what I'm doing, or just roll with the story and let it fold out the way it should' he said trying to boost his confidence. 'Who am I kidding, this is me I'm talking about. I'm here, I'm going to meddle whether I try to or not, might as well enjoy myself.'

He picked up the datapad again double checking everything thoroughly this time around making sure he didn't miss anything else from that bitch Abeloth. He scrolled through every message he had, every app there was, clicked every button on it to satisfy his paranoia. After he finished with the datapad, he put it back on the desk, he decided that he would do what he felt best for the remainder of his life here, enjoying it while he can.

He left his room to walk around the temple and looked for the best candidate that would tell the council of the what would happen tonight without messing it up. He walked through the library, cafeteria, training rooms, and everywhere else looking for his target. After an hour of walking, he finally decided on one of the temple guards, someone that could be easily manipulated by the force to fulfill his purpose.

He had chosen his intended target, Potin Jandi. He was new to the temple guard, and new to the republic armed forces, born on Alderaan. He was a young kid around his late teen's early twenties, with shaggy brown hair and hazel eyes. Jason had looked around to make sure that there wasn't anybody around to see him before making his move.

'Ah Potin, how are you doing this fine evening? I hope your adjustment to working here is going well' he asked the boy with the fakest sincerity he could muster.

'Yes! Everything is going well Master, Jason correct? I have been adjusting well to my new duties here at the Jedi temple here on Tython. This planet is much like my own, with a lush ecosystem and mountain ranges, and the forests' Potin said with enthusiasm in his voice.

'That sounds wonderful young Potin' Jason smiled at the kid. 'Say Potin, there is something that I need you to do for me if you would.'

'Anything Master Jedi, just say the word' he said with some excitement that he gets to help a master Jedi.

Jason waved his hand in front of Potins face using the force to implement a hidden mission inside the young kid's mind. 'Earlier today, you learned that Master Ajunta Pall and his followers are planning on leaving the Jedi Order tonight. You are going to report it to Master Arden Bendio and the rest of the council. Now repeat to me your mission' Jason said after waving hand back across Potins face.

Potin recited everything back to Jason just as it was said to him. Jason smiled and waved his hand again, telling Potin that they never had this meeting, and walked away from him. Jason left the corridor and headed to the cafeteria to get some dinner. When he got there, there wasn't many in the cafeteria at the time, so he got some food and sat in the corner by himself.

Shortly after Jason sat down, Amara had walked in and joined him at the table with her own plate of food. 'Greetings master, how have you been doing?' she asked him her normal bubbly smile.

'I'm doing well my padawan. And how about you? How has your day been?' He asked her with smile on his face trying to make small talk as to not seem suspicious about anything.

'Let's see, after lunch I continued my studies in the library, learning astro-charts, and navigation through constellations. Then I took a walk through the gardens for some fresh air, and then me and some others practiced our mind reading abilities with cards. After that, I went and took a nap and then I woke up and now I'm here talking to you master' she said acting excited to tell her master about her day.

Jason smiled and nodded to her as she told her story about the day, trying not to think about what would happen tonight. 'Well it seems you have had a fun day today my padawan' he said as he smiled at her. They enjoyed there dinner together for a bit, before separating at the cafeteria. He returned to his room to wait for the signal to leave. When he walked into his room, his comms buzzed.

'Go for Jason' he said calmly over the device.

'It's Ajunta, we leave at three tonight' Ajunta had said coldly through the comms device and disconnected the call.

Jason stood in silence for a moment at the revelation that this is truly happening. He stood there for a moment thinking about it all. The resurrection here in this universe, the power that he has been granted by the most dangerous being in this universe, and now he gets to live it. It was surreal to him in that moment, then he remembered that he needed to inform his padawan about the plan.

'Amara, we leave at three tonight. Get some rest and make sure you have everything and meditate to clear your mind. This may end up going sideways' Jason said explaining to her the situation.

'I understand master. May the force be with us tonight' she replied with a whisper back to him and ended the call.

The rest of the evening, Jason sat in silence in his room deep in meditation, trying to perceive tonight's events, but he could not. It was about two when he came out of his meditation and started gathering his things. He grabbed his field backpack from the closet and all his essential belongings to him in it, and finally put his proto saber on his belt. He scanned the room one last time double checking for anything he might have missed.

Jason left his room and headed down the corridor to where his padawans room was. Right before he could knock, she opened the door for him. When she opened the door, he could since her emotions like she was wearing them on her shoulders. She was scared for them if this would fail, sad for leaving everything that she has worked on behind, but also happy that she would be with her master if this all worked out.

They didn't exchange any words, just nodded at each other, and then left down the corridor together towards the speeder hangar. When they got there, they were welcomed by master Pall and a large majority of Jedi.

'Master Pall, is this everybody that is leaving with us?' Jason had asked when he walked over to Pall.

'No, there should be more coming soon, but I will not much longer, not with all of us just sitting around like this. And Jason, I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this.' Pall said with some worry to his voice.

'I can sense it too. Maybe it is time that we leave, because the longer we wait, the harder this could be getting out of here.' Jason said calmly.

'Agreed, we will leave now then' Pall had said as he began motioning for people to start leaving on their speeders.

There was close to two hundred Jedi that were with them when they left the temple. When they got to the city, it was eerily quiet and dark. Neither Jason, Pall nor any of the other masters liked the feeling they had when they got there. They rushed towards the spaceport to get on the ship that Master Pall had acquired for there departure. When they got to the ship, they were met by the Jedi High Council.

'Ajunta Pall, the Jedi High Council has foreseen your betrayal to the Jedi, and you are all to stand down and surrender yourselves to us. Is that understood?' Arden Bendio, leader of the Jedi High Council had said addressing all of Pall's followers. As Master Bendio spoke, the Jedi that remained loyal to the Order began coming out of hiding and surrounded Pall and his followers.

'Council members please, let us leave here in peace. We do not seek to fight you or the republic, we simply wish to go and learn and experiment as the force has guided us' Pall said pleading with the council members.

'Sorry we are Master Pall, come to this, it has. Your experiments, driven you to the dark side they have' said Jedi Master Morr, second seat of the High Council.

(Authors notes: Morr is Yoda's Species)

'You and your followers will surrender and face trial before the Jedi Order, or you will leave us no choice but to take action.' Bendio said as he unlatched his proto saber from his waist.

'No Master Arden, it would seem you have left us no choice then.' Pall said as he called his saber to his hand and igniting its yellow beam. 'Charge!' Pall screamed as he ran forward engaging Arden Bendio in combat.

As Pall yelled, his followers mimicked him in devotion, igniting their proto sabers and charging into those that they once called brother or sister. Those that remained loyal to the Order, followed suit and didn't hesitate to fight back against friend.

'Amara stay by my side, and do not falter' Jason said to his padawan taking his saber from his hip and taking a defensive stance.

'Understood master' Amara replied igniting her blade and engaging the closest Jedi to her.

The battle was fierce as neither side wanted the other to win. Jason kept to his style of disarming his opponents by cutting the power cord between the hilt and battery supply or stabbing the power supply altogether. Amara was doing her best, contending with who ever got in her way, but her emotions got the better of her when she engaged with a master and he almost struck her down permanently before Jason intervened and blocked the final strike.

'Not my padawan you bastard!' Jason said to his former peer with anger in his voice and eyes. He channeled the dark side of the force inside him and parried every swing his opponent threw at him, until Jason found an opening and disabled the master's saber. The Jedi looked scared as he could see the dark side in Jason's eyes, and that's when Jason raised his hand and reached out with the force and broke the Jedi's neck.

Jason went over and extended a hand to his padawan to help her to her feet. She reluctantly took his hand because at that moment she had never seen her master like that before, and she was scared. When she got up, he asked her if she was alright and if she was hurt.

'Yes, I'm alright master' was all she could say trying not to stare into his yellow eyes. She didn't want to tell him at that moment that she was scared for her life knowing that she or him might die tonight. After they stared at each other for a moment, they began their fight again.

The fight had gone on now for 20 minutes now and Pall and his followers were outnumbered three-to-one. He and Arden were matched in skill and power in the force as they were at a standstill in their fight. Pall looked around the battle seeing as brother and sister fought brother and sister. As he looked around, he saw a close friend of his, Muur, and had an idea.

'Muur, use your battle meditation!' Pall shouted across the battle.

Muur heard this and looked to Pall and nodded. 'Jason, I need you to guard me!' Muur shouted to Jason. Muur had slashed at the young knight he was fighting across his c.h.e.s.t killing him instantly. He put away his proto saber and began channeling the force into his allies giving them the boost they needed to begin turning the tide of the fight.

Jason and Amara ran over to Muur, knocking Jedi out of there way, taking a stance around him protecting him while he preformed his battle meditation. Several Jedi heard what was happening and immediately tried to stop Muur, but Jason and Amara would stop any fool hardy enough to think they could get passed them two.

The fight proceeded another twenty minutes before the Jedi Order would retreat to the temple allowing Pall and his followers to escape for now. Pall surveyed the carnage that the Jedi Order had wrought on them. There were so many needless deaths on both sides, that it had brought a tear to Pall's eyes.

'Gather our dead and wounded and let us leave this horrible place.' Pall said as he knelt next to a young Jedi padawan who had fought against them. He took his hand and c.a.r.e.s.sed the young boys face, and then closing his eyes so that he may sleep peacefully now.

Jason and Amara along with all the other followers of Pall began helping the wounded and dead onto the ship. While Jason was scanning the area, he started to see the force energy of the dead dissipate from around them, like it was returning to the force itself. In the back of his mind, he could faintly hear Abeloth's voice telling him to consume it. Without thinking about it, he reached out his hand and begun absorbing the force energy from the dead bodies into the palm of his hand, replenishing his own energy.

No one around Jason could see what he was seeing, but the air around them felt cold, like death itself had just passed through to collect the souls of the fallen. While Jason was absorbing the energy, he started to hear screams off in the distant, thinking that there was another fight going on somewhere else, until he realized that those were the screams of the dead that he could hear in his head.

Jason didn't snap out of it until Amara had walked up and put her hand on his shoulder. 'Master is something the matter?' she asked looking at him with concern in her eyes.

'Yes Amara, I'm fine, I just, I had a vision. Nothing to concern about my young padawan' he said as he put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her. 'Come it is time we take our leave, before the council returns with the temple guard.'

Jason and Amara boarded the ship along with the last of the dead. There numbers now were just little over a hundred remaining of Pall's followers when they left Tython. They had hired a captain who owned a corvette size ship that he used as ferry to cargo people to different planets. They had ferried a passage to the planet Ruusan, far enough away from the republic and the Jedi Order.
