Golden Agent of the Adonis (11)

Upon first glance, this scene seemed rather miserable, but the fact remained that they didn’t know Chu Xiang all that well. Throughout the many methods proposed by Chu Xiang, they unexpectedly found that she was a very thoughtful person who also paid attention to the aspects that the various departments cared about. She was a very connotative agent and after an hour of meeting, they had gradually believed that Chen Lifeng was indeed made famous by Chu Xiang because they were convinced that she had the ability.

Chu Xiang was tired after talking with them for an hour, so she said a little weakly, “Since there isn’t a good solution as of now, I won’t waste everyone’s time any longer. Let’s end the meeting here for now and I will think about it again. I will have to trouble you all again when I think of something. Oh, also, let me create a WeChat group to facilitate our communication process.”

The others had no objections, so Chu Xiang hung up the call and pulled the small circle of six into a small group chat very naturally. Although there were only five people in the group besides her, these five belonged to different departments and were responsible for public relations and the advertising sector to solve the crisis. With such a small circle, it would be more convenient for her to maintain a good relationship with them in the future.

Chu Xiang stretched her stiff neck and Fang Zhenxuan, who was feeding Xinxin some apple puree, handed another bowl of apple puree to Chu Xiang, “Have some nutrition to make sure that your body recovers sooner.”

“Thank you,” Chu Xiang took the bowl with a relaxed smile and natural expression. She had regained a bit of her strength and was capable of eating by herself.

Fang Zhenxuan couldn’t help but look at her several times, asking curiously, “Miss Chu, you don’t seem to be worried or stressed out at all.”

Chu Xiang said with a smile, “I already know how to solve this matter smoothly, so what is there to worry about? I have already thought about the solution long ago.”

Fang Zhenxuan froze for a moment, “But when you were in a meeting just now…”

“Oh, that,” Chu Xiang chuckled, “If I didn’t seize the opportunity to show my abilities, how can they believe that I made Chen Lifeng popular? There is no evidence for this kind of thing and it’s all based on impressions. When they think about this situation, the Manager and the other co-workers are going to remember my input and that impression would help me. They would believe that I was still of worth to the company since I have the abilities to promote another artist.”

“So you said all that on purpose,” Fang Zhenxuan nodded thoughtfully, feeling like he had learned something.

Chu Xiang was eating the apple puree as she glanced at him and said with a smile, “You have to be careful when you enter the entertainment industry. Otherwise, you will be gnawed to the bone.”

Fang Zhenxuan shook his head with a smile, “I think it’s okay. Throughout these past few years, I have been working at all sorts of places and I have come into contact with all sorts of people— definitely not the kind of pure college student that you would have in mind,” He asked again, “Are you going to wait for a bit before telling them about your solution?”

Chu Xiang opened Weibo and looked, “I’m going to wait patiently for Chen Lifeng and Zhou Yuan to speak up.”

“Speak up?” Fang Zhenxuan was a little confused. What were they going to say about this? Thinking of Chen Lifeng’s horrible attitude in the stairwell, he frowned slightly, “They will treat you badly, right? He even stated that he wasn’t going to help you just now, so would it work?”

Chu Xiang laughed meaningfully, “I’m not afraid that they will treat me badly as I’m more worried that they might actually try to cooperate with me. Since I’m going to tear his reputation apart, I might as well do it properly. Even so, public opinion is nothing to be afraid of. Being biased towards them today does not mean that they are the guaranteed winners. After all, there’s always a possibility that in another 3 to 5 days, the public might be on my side again. The one who goes far and stably is the one who is truly going to win.”

Chu Xiang knew that Fang Zhenxuan knew nothing about the entertainment industry, so she decided to say more just because she was in a good mood, “The many solutions I proposed just now were rejected except for the beneficial parts in each solution. Anyone on the sidelines would think that I truly don’t have anything else up my sleeve. Chen Lifeng probably thinks that I’m heartbroken, and with me still remaining in the hospital, my aggressiveness is as weak as it can get. Now that I can’t even hold my own against him after having a meeting, he’s going to fight back confidently at any time, thinking that I don’t have any other means to counter-attack him.”

Fang Zhenxuan understood her words as soon as he heard it since anyone who was cautious by nature would not show their cards all at once. Nevertheless, if Chen Lifeng mistook Chu Xiang for being weak, he could trample over her without a care in the world. At any rate, any sort of public statement would become the memory of the Internet. But no matter how long had passed, others would be able to find out that it was Chen Lifeng who first drew a line with Chu Xiang. If Chu Xiang really had a way to turn things around, Chen Lifeng would definitely be condemned.

Even so, there was still one thing he couldn’t figure out, “Do you have any grudges with Chen Lifeng? It seems that you have always been kind to him. Even if he wants to make his girlfriend happy, he just needs to change his agent peacefully; why does he have to hurt you so much?”

Seeing Chu Xiang’s puzzled eyes after expressing his confusion, he explained, “I’m sorry, I went to Xingchen Entertainment for an interview yesterday. When I was preparing myself in the stairwell, I overheard your conversation.”

Only then did Chu Xiang understand why the memory of the original owner was not as good as Fang Zhenxuan, but he was still willing to stay behind and help her. It turned out that he knew of the original owner’s miserable state and went ahead to lend a helping hand— he was indeed a very kind person.
