Chapter 28 - Speed Leveling

After passing the items to ZeRen, ZeLin added the remaining six to the guild. The remaining six were the Gravity Mage, Sniper, Arbalist, Holy Knight, Holy Paladin, Frost Knight. After they accepted, he told them to get in touch with WeiChiang, the butler for Yggdrasil, should they have any enquiries.

In just a short few in-game days, Sum City was beginning to live up to its name. Many of the houses had been fixed and looked a lot better thanks to their mason, Shen Yeat's contributions. He had been taking up the city's requests to fix up the place.

Instead of dirt roads, most main roads had been changed to cobblestone paths. ShenYeat said he would need probably another 7-days before he could start working on fortifying and rebuilding the city walls.

After a short discussion with WeiChiang and ShenYeat, it was decided that the walls would include archer towers as well as siege defense towers. In the near future, as the city expanded and went into nation status, these walls would be the inner city walls. All current buildings will be automatically moved outside when the outer city walls were complete. The inner city would only be for guild members.

WeiChiang, the God that protected Butterfly Nation, had a few aces up his sleeves. So ZeLin confidently let him decide how to defend the future nation.

Sim had progressed further and was producing better quality potions, she even set up a few guild tasks for members to do. For her contributions, she had amassed quite a number of contribution points. Hence she got ZeRen's approval and began giving out tasks.

WeiMing was close to tears as he was getting sick of cooking wolves and deer, with his points, he too was given the authority to give out tasks. His was mainly orders for more variety in meets and some herbs.

Thanks to both Sim and WeiMing providing guild tasks, another happy member soon emerged.

Victor finally saved enough points to grab the [Silver Gale Blades]. He was a Shadow Assassin, having hidden throwable blades would be a huge bonus to him.

Leon on the other hand was still grumbling miserably. There was no point in taking the Orb or the Skill book separately, he needed both, but the points he needed was 10,000. Leon was the Necromancer which joined at the same time as Victor. Due to the location he was in as a Necromancer, whatever grew there would not be usable by Sim till she reached a higher level, undead meat could not be cooked.

Bones and monster cores were the most common things he could collect, but at this stage, ZeLin wasn't ready to craft bone equipment yet. Monster cores could be used for enchanting, but no one had that subclass or occupation.

After ensuring everything was in order, ZeLin and ZeRen set off.

Their first stop, the Wolf Lord to the East.

At this point, it was just plain bullying for all the monster that they both came across. With a normal attack of eight thousand points, everything was smacked flat as a pancake with just a swing by ZeLin.

ZeRen switched off the chat bar, as the experience points just kept flooding in. ZeLin did not get any experience for all the kills, it no longer bothered him.

This time, it took them almost 5 hours to finally see traces of the Wolf Lord.

Even though they intentionally made a lot of noise, somehow the Wolf Lord was not attracted by the commotion or the wanton killing of its brethren.

"Hey bro, I just noticed, DK isn't getting any EXP," said ZeRen. DK was of course short for Dragon King, his Mutated Golden Blood Dragonling.

Checking his status page, ZeLin nodded. Upon cl.i.c.k.i.n.g on the Pet tab only did he notice that there was an option for them to share up to 50% of their experience gained with the dragons.

"Dang it! What a waste of EXP," cried ZeLin.

Both of them immediately set the EXP share to a maximum of 50%. Even as dragonlings, their stats were insanely high. The quicker they m.a.t.u.r.ed, the quicker ZeLin and ZeRen could use them. Right now, both were just tattoos around their arms.
